  1. This would not surprise me. Although I don't think it was ever about him taking it to the next level. He always has been good, his effort has been good, his talent good. It is just that his body is just too fragile to be an NFL player at the level he needs to be capable of playing. There is really nothing he can do to change that. He does not have an NFL body, and no amount of devotion, training, and weight room training is going to change it in his case. It is like a WR who can do everything right. Has speed, great hands, runs great routes, has great football smarts and instints, but he is 5'6". You can't make your body grow certain ways. If you have the body structure, you can bulk up, gain strength, lose weight. whatever. But you need the genetics to build on. Goodwin just does not have it, at no fault to him.

I agree. Very similar to Roscoe Parrish.

  2. It looks like Dez Lewis is this years "OTA Monster." Lewis looked great in OTA's, but has disappeared when the pads came on in training camp.

I hope anyone won't be this year that's training camp/preseason monster (like Trent Edwards and Keith Ellison) that looks great in training camp/preseason monster, but disappears in the regular season.

  3. Rex is the type of guy that gives chances to guys that have been problems on other teams. Incognito's chance with the Bills was seen as his last opportunity in the NFL. Harvin was a problem with Minnesota and Seattle, but Rex gave him a chance in NYJ and in Buffalo. For Rex to give up on Karlos speaks volumes on Karlos' character.

  5. Didn't you guys read Bucky's column? It doesn't matter what happens on the field. This team has character issues. Karlos Williams, a fifth round pick gets cut for being dumb and lazy. Didn't everybody know he was a gamble when drafted? Marcell Dareus is immature and troubled rehab and therapy is the right thing. I think that agreeing to do it demonstrates some character, most would have declined. Manny Lawson may or may not have done something.

So it doesn't matter whether we are asleep on this team. Two possibly three out of 90 players have issues. This is a dumpster fire.

I think I read three sentences of that article before I looked up and saw it was an article written by Bucky Gleason and immediately stopped reading it.

  6. He was injured last year, I think he was worth the money the Pat's are paying him and with Brady at QB I think he'll be good for 80 grabs this year.

I really would have been ok with keeping our top three of Watkins, Woods and Hogan.

I won't miss his slants on 3rd down which fall short of the first down (if he would of went straight he would of had the first down).
