  1. http://www.nyjetscap.com/Bills/bills2012.php

This site says that we can save over 4 mil on the cap if we cut him and he does not fit the Bills new D atleast that's what billsdaily says:

"Defensive Changes Hurts Some Players: The change to the 4-3 defensive will help some players but hurt others. Dave Wannstedt said in yesterday's press conference that the team wants defensive linemen that can rush the passer and lighter, faster linebackers. He said he doesn't want one dimensional type players that can play the run but not get pressure on the quarterback. This does not bode well for Alex Carrington and Dwan Edwards. Edwards is a prototypical 3-4 defensive end and doesn't have the pass rushing ability to be a 4-3 end. Carrington went back and forth between end and linebacker in the 3-4 but doesn't seem to fit the new scheme as well."

Carrington might not fit the D as well but I can see them keeping him around for depth cuz he is cheep and young.

Does this make sense or am I wrong about this? That 4 mil for Edwards would be nice to use on FAs.

Carrington had 21.5 sacks as a 4-3 DE in college.

  2. I know there was much talk of a repeat of 2007 that ultimately came to fruition, but before we delve deeper into dispair I want everyone to imagine the following scenario:

Suppose the Monday after we beat the Pats and were all floating on cloud 9, you found out that there had been a car accident and we would be without the services of Fred Jackson, Kyle Williams, Wood, Bell, and Hairston for several weeks, if not the whole season, would you have expected the winning trend to continue? Or would you maybe think that KEY injuries had just cost us what might have been a great season?

Remember, this is after we already endured and overcame the losses of McGee, Easley, Parrish, and Merriman for the season, D. Jones for much of it, and Stevie and Troup playing through significant injuries.

I know injuries are part of the game. They're the part that makes good teams lose. We're closer than a lot of us think. Next year should be fun.*

    * Assumes we resign SJ

Next year 10-6, borderline playoff team...looks like a good schedule next year. Im positive for next year but I also said 8-8 for this year.

  3. For the 1,000th time the 26-27-60 rule is not meant to be applied to all QBs all the time.

Its meant to help decide between Top 10 QBs.

so you can apply the rule to Luck and RGIII to determine who would be better for the colts to draft #1 overall.

Not to compare 7th rounder Kellen Moore to 2nd rounder Ryan Tannehill.

Moore will most likely go in the 4th

  4. i think this is what youre talking about...Parcells Rules

1.He must be a senior, because you need time and maturity to develop into a good professional quarterback.

2.He must be a graduate, because you want someone who takes his responsibilities seriously.

3.He must be a three-year starter, because you need to make sure his success wasnt ephemeral and that he has lived as the guy for some period of time.

4.He must have at least 23 wins, because the big passing numbers must come in the context of winning games.

Kellen Moore fits and doubles the wins
