I actually do have a lot of respect for you because you usually avoid personal attacks and actually offer insight as to why you disagree. I can't say this board is very classy otherwise .. and I was on the receiving end of a ban because I had the gall to fight back.

I'm just not sure how I'm in need of attn when the past two weeks our QB has been 26/52 with 3 picks.

I'm really not sure how you can take my initial post as confrontational or is it confrontational because you disagree?

I think that's a valid question to be asked around here.

Very much seems like a good ol boys club who can't handle dissent sometimes.

See again. I'm not part of any good ol boys club. I want the Bills to win period. And when I stated confrontational you passed off your post in a factly manner and not of it being your opinion. My opinion if you want is that you're overreacting and it's too early to write him off and look to draft a QB this coming year.

I dont care if its Edwards, Taylor, Allen or Manuel under center. I want this team to win. Period. I don't care if we throw for 400 yards or 4. If we win, I'm happy. That doesn't make me a kool aid drinker or anything else. It just makes me a fan

I live in a world where all possibilities must be considered and I think Beane and McD should think long and hard IF things continue down this road about what hitching their wagons to this QB would mean to the long term prospects of the franchise.

Don't want to set us back several years based on a faulty belief.

OP, defend your position.  You have 11 working parts on an Offense (and a defense obviously), the entire unit is completely broken except for one (McCoy).  You lost 3 big parts on the line, and didn't have much skill or talent in the other positions to improve, and you added one new part who is learning his way as he goes.  Wouldn't it make sense to improve the other pieces around it and then see if the new one is the faulty piece, or if its something else?  Trial and error?

The sample size is too small currently to make that call and I am terrible at statistics, but even I know it's too small.

PS, if your approach wasn't so confrontational and believing it to be fact, you may not be ganged up on in the way you are.  Have a discussion, and don't jump to conclusions about it being a cult.  There are really smart people here who know a lot about football and are much smarter than me.  I'm sure they'd be willing to engage in a rational discussion with facts and backing instead of an emotional hot take that you push off as truth.

    Just my opinion.

    Go Bills

That is a true statement but peterman had good games against number one defenses this preseason he is going to start.  Will be announced shortly or I am not the final word.

Youre not the final word. You're Dunkirk don. Get over yourself.

I appreciate your comment but I felt compelled to address the issue.

    Are you talking to me?

Did you forget your name don?

Hopefully everyone had a great day and had true reflection on the state of football in Buffalo.  Reading the threads during the game yesterday, I truly felt empathy toward the fan base here.  I know the authors of the many comments from misguided and over jealous legion of true Bills fans. My hat is tipped toward each of you but we must understand our long- term strategy as an organization.  The coaching staff and front office must address the fan base with a win now mentality. This is a business and they have to sell tickets. It is a blue collar fan base not filled with millionaire like other locales. With that said, McDermott and Beane have a long term strategy and the Beane’s first goals was to acquire a fanchise quarterback.  Anyone that paid attention to rumblings from obd , that could connect reference points, knew Allen was there quarterback. As revealed in October from back channels, the number one pick circled on their draft board was Josh Allen. That is why the lead up to the draft was so anti climatic to me but I throughly enjoyed the hundreds of posts on board about what quarterback we would chose.  Next we knew (I hope you need) Dennison was done and despite all the hype surrounding our next c would be, the reference points all pointed south to Alabama which also came from New England.  Brian Daboll was mentioned on this site but the author was shamelessly ridiculed but we made the same choice. We did offer Mike Tice the offensive line, too bad he turned us down.  That would have been huge! This will be addressed before the end of year. Castillo will be gone.  But as you can see, we have two major pieces in place.  Quarterback and offensive coordinator. We drafted our middle linebacker and next year, we will add the center.  We must be strong up the middle.  I think that is enough to digest for tonight but I will continue to add commentary on our long term strategy.

Beane took a chance on on the maligned corner from Indy, on very short line.  Look for Phillip Gaines to be there shortly.  Bad idea in locker room too.

Terry and Kim are such astute business people:  I don’t buy their stadium press releases

Its funny how you seem to edit every post, however they still look like something written by a child.

I realize it is not the proper protocol to start a new thread during a game but I felt compelled to start this thread to ensure those Bills fans suffering from Allen fatigue and calling Beane an idiot for drafting Allen.  Allen is the quarterback of the future period.  If you recall, he was number one on our draft board for months prior to the draft. He possesses all of the tangibles but requires additional work with his footwork.  Will be corrected this year.  Although Josh started today’s games which traditionally means he would be starting the first game.  Many novices would obviously jump to this conclusion and it most cases would be warranted but not in this case.  Those close to the happenings at obd though realize the rationale for McDermott decision for today’s game.  The plan was and still is not to start Allen at quarterback day 1.  I knew before the start of action today, Peterman will be our starting quarterback for the first game and THAT IS THE FINAL WORD.   PS I will try to provide the site with expert clarifications and happenings as the season progresses

There you go. No mention of AJ's injury.
