Butler A Key To Line: We continue to look at some players to watch this summer as the OTAs continue on Tuesday. Brad Butler makes an important move one slot to his left and becomes the starting left tackle this season. Butler has not played tackle at all in his professional career but played their most of his college days. If Butler can make the move smoothly it will go a long way to stabilize a volatile offensive line situation. Butler may be more suited for the outside than the inside and says it is more of a mental transition. If that is the case it should work since Butler is one of the more intelligent players in the league. Do you think the move will work? Take our poll on our homepage and let us know!
true. but you still set up your players for success instead of failure. and 2 me thats key for coaching. and we can agree that its the coaching that makes a successful team? otherwise anyone can win with superior talent. and history shows that this isnt the case.
well, thats what free agency brought to the game. you cant change a 500 page playbook year after year. so there will be information available after players change teams. best way out in my opinion is to keep track on your former players and come up with a special plan for those games one of them plays against your team
no matter what you play, it needs to fit your personell. as easy as that. it just depends on how well you draft as an NFL team, or how well you adjust as a small-town high school coach.
+1
also, with the draft going interior OL and the signing of Rhodes we may,or hopefully , are going to play some smashmouth football. and ive seen hamdan over here and i really think he can play
dont want to be overly pessimistic, but i can see trent getting hit like vs the cards on day 1. and it likely wont need a safety blitz this time. who blocks for him?
