Similar size, speed, and elusiveness. Although Spiller adds the return ability to his game. -
Quite possibly the worst starting quarterback of the last 10 years. Awful. Ooooo he throws far, shiny.
At this point (given his weight), he's better suited to come in and compete for our LT spot.

Yeah, I can't stand WGR, but can't pull in WECK. Have tried often. Get a better transmitter and then ditch the hockey love. We are football fans.
I can't get WECK on the radio either, but they stream online. In fact, I'm listening to them stream right now.

What is so great about Jake Locker? For a guy that has ALOT to work on this year in college (so says his coach) he gets an awful lot of man-love around here.

He legitimately looks like the next Steve Young.
Tall, strong, accurate, fast. And he does all of it with awful talent surrounding him.

Terrell Suggs and DeMarcus Ware are probably the 2 best recent examples. I think Joey Porter was a DE in college as well.
Ware, Suggs, and Porter all play OLB. He's wondering about switching to ILB. I'll have to look it up.

He literally picked up Selvish Capers and threw him at the QB. How he didn't get drafted is beyond me.

More call outs than call ins. Interesting guests (go beyond your counterparts, color men ect. in other markets, the talking heads offered up by the big media outlets...)

Agreed on the part about guests. Not necessarily interviews with players/management, you end up getting a bunch of cliches. But having reporters, analysts, even bloggers is pretty entertaining. They are more likely to say what they really feel.
Some of the best radio, is when Brad has Ruben Brown on. Former player who knows what he's talking about, and isn't afraid to give his real opinions.
If you do take calls, try to avoid calling every third caller a moron. (like a certain former co-worker).
I look forward to hearing some Bills talk on my lunch breaks for a change. (2nd shift)

What did we do to get worse? We had the same holes at LT and QB last year, didn't we? If we can avoid the injuries from last year, why would we be worse?
Better coaching staff, better players on defense, better at the RB position. Why in the world would we regress?

Wait, the Bills drafted Brown and Wang at QB and LT.
Yeah but Oakland drafted a tackle who needs work in the fourth round, "smart". Buffalo drafted a tackle who needs work in the fifth round, "stupid".
Oakland traded for a QB for what equals a 6th rounder this year, "smart". Buffalo drafts a quarterback with the second pick in the seventh round, "stupid".

What LT prospects were there at 9? Davis (Work ethic issues), Bulaga (who isn't a LT), and Saffold who isn't even close to being worth a high first.
What QB are we supposed to take? Clausen? There's a reason he fell that far. McCoy plain and simply is not the type of QB that Nix wants.

Really? But I can judge all the past drafts! How many pro bowlers do we have? How many players do we have that other teams covet? How many really good players have we drafted in the last 10 years? How many winning seasons in the past 10 years? Follow the trend, if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, its a duck. What makes anyone think suddenly it will be different! Our punter is probably our best player.
Because as we all know, this staff is responsible for drafts from years past. Even if you want to include Nix in last years draft, We got 2 good guards, a good FS, and a young pass catching TE.

Thanks for signing up to post this. We didn't have enough people complaining that we didn't pick people that Mel Kiper likes.
BTW that "part time" running back played for over 600 snaps in college. If C.J. Spiller doesn't make you say wow, no-one will.

While I don't see us picking that high, I would love to get Luck.
And I'm guessing that the speculation was right. McShay isn't too happy about making this mock draft so early:
"I am told it's not too early to "mock it up" for the 2011 draft. That's debatable. What's not debatable is the deadline for this project."
