  1. (Ha, hooked another one, good fishing today)

I do agree absolutely that Bush has been terrible. Although I still wonder how he could be such a good liar, and such an idiot, at the same time, and be able to beat the Democrats every time he has run against them, while being an idiot and good liar, at the same time. It must be that he's lied so well about being an idiot and a good liar, at the same time, that he's confused everyone, right? Or is it that the Democrats couldn't beat an idiot and a great liar, at the same time? But of course, it wasn't their fault, that an idiot and a great liar, at the same time, beat them twice in a row.

The difference is: I don't hear Republicans blaming anyone else for Bush's failings. They have their own stupid flaws(Gay Marriage), but not holding themselves accountable/introspection is not one of them(see the bagging of Newt Gingrich when he failed to get Clinton). Or, if it is one of their flaws, you can take it, multiply it by 3 orders of magnitude, and you might approach the level of flaw that Democrats have with accountability and introspection.

However, nothing approaches the stack of BS that is the Pats* fans denial of reality that their "good guy" team that does everything "the right way" are a bunch of cheaters who then lied about it. Or, does it depend on the definition of the word "misinterpretation"? (bait placed, casting....)

Couldn't agree with you more, that's right on.

  2. It's nice to see "experts" giving us props from time to time, but dude, we haven't made the playoffs this entire decade.

True, but what have teams like the Cardinals, Vikings, Browns, Titans and Redskins done lately also? A few 1st round playoff exits between all of them in the past 5 or 6 years, thats about it.

  3. Everyone at my school likes the jets. It made me very unpopular at the begininng of the year with all my bills gear in my room but after this past season they got quiet

I was at SUNY Oswego last year and it was the same way, A TON of Jets fans from Long Island, most with little football knowledge too....In fact I had one of my buddies who was from LI and a big Jets fan come to the game in Buffalo this year and loved rubbing it in his face.

Outside of the other AFC East teams, I root against:

    Yankees

    Maple Leafs

    Habs

    Flyers

    Spurs

    Pistons

    Cowboys

    Bears

    Duke

    Ohio St.

    A-Rod

    Giambi

    Posada

    Bonds

    T.O.

    Romo

    Duncan

    ...To name a few

  4. im 29, great paying job, would love Bills season tickets..........my down fall......THE WIFE.........

Congrats man....where are the seats by the way? Along with the cost?

To give you some perspective, mine and my friends are in section 102, and I have 4 seats on top of eachother in rows 18 and 19. They come to $320 total this year which isn't too bad at all IMO. Knocking 2 games, including a pre-season one, off the schedule obviously helps that price. LOT TWO, POLE 6 BABY!!!!

  5. Good question, and I have reasons.

First, Carruth did lead all rookies in catches, yards and touchdowns in the only full season he played, actually only 14 games. Second, his crime was so heinous that he gets on my list no matter what.

As for Phillips, I don't have much of a defense other than I think he was one of the best college RBs of all time, and Dick Vermeil called Phillips the best running back he had ever coached. Phillips was an outstanding player, but his behaviour and attitude problems kept him from showing it in the NFL.

Gotcha, your post about Carruth's crime just made me go back and read over exactly what happened again since it's been so long. What an unbelievable thing to do to any woman, let alone the woman that is carrying your two children.

  6. Why all the hating on Crowell???? I thought he had a really good season last year, unless I missed something...Only eight guys had more total tackles, and he also added on a couple sacks, a pick, and a safety. Playing next to Ellison and DiGiorgio for most of the season, I'd say that's pretty impressive.

  7. brandon flowers - he is a perfect fit for the cover 2.........can see the bills falling in love with him ala whitner

I am thinking along the same lines...Although in that situation, it would be nice if the Bills had a good feeling about the teams being behind us not looking at him and being able to trade down if they love him that much. They didn't trade down and try to get Whitner simply because they had a strong feeling about a team like Baltimore jumping on him right after our slot.
