  1. Buffalo bills.com sucks in regards of updating their PC wallpaper(its been like 2 seasons since they updated) . I like to alternate wallpapers on my laptop every week but can't seem to find a good sites w/ our current roster via google. Much obliged if anyone can offer any good sites
  2. "However, the real question is, would Chad Johnson want to come to Buffalo............" Precisley my point! We need to make this franchise once again a place where good free agents actually want to play. The only recipe for that = winning
  3. Was not comparing their talent, I was comparing their propensity to be a lockeroom (or criminal backround) distraction. In that case Chad is an angel next to T.O. who has thus far broke up 2 (49ers,Eagles) lockerooms and probaly not finished. At least chad waited till the offseason to make his selfish demand.
  4. No WR really merits our 11th pk. Even if we do get a good one, its going to take some time for him to develop. I just dont think we have the time and perhaps we need to consider thinking outside the box. AFC is so competive that if we ever want to make a legit run at a playoff spot, we need to be assertive. I do want to reiterate that charcter is vital and I would not want to draft anyone w/ issues but chad is not comparable w/ Pacman,T.O.,Hanesworth (could of killed that guy he stomped on), and Vick. I think we should take a chance on this guy to compete w/ the Pats or at least consider it. It's imperative that we make the playoffs this century!!!!!!
  5. I do not think this post is outlandish like some of you suggest. I concede to his immaturity, recent britney spears behavior and being selfish for more money. However, being 30 is only detriment to RB's (if you knew football), his #'s do not lie, he is still one of the best WR's in the AFC. I do not (nor does any football anaylst or his teamates) question his work ethic and productivity on game day or practices. He was not implicated in any complicties nor has he bitched before this abrupt quarrel w/ his team and coach (at least not notably). Its absurd to think he could not lift our offense up substanially. I do feel character is an issue that warrants attention but 'JP's Landscaper' arose a vaild point in desperate times (no playoff spot in the 21st century,QB controversy since Kelly, being in the same division as the Patriots and on the verge of losing the franchise to Candians) seeks deperate measures. Not saying lets do anything to get him but perhaps a 2nd or 3rd rd pk (then get a top defensive rookie w/ our 1st) could help this team get a playoff spot. Its at least worth contemplating which some of you refuse to do and seem content being one of 3 teams that have not made the playoffs in the 21st century or concede to the notion that this franchise needs help.
  6. Exactly, and now they are determined to steal a team from one of these states with ample football history, apart from maybe Jac. No consideration about ripping the hearts from millions of people whom grew up rooting for their home teams. And for what? Simply because its 'LA' where these pompous selfish punks feel they are entitled.
  7. I have no problem calling Ike a bust for a 1st rd pk. He has contributed throughout his career but not worth a 1st rd selection. Reggie has dropped an inordinate amount of catches and has struggled thus far in his career. Despite his 10 tds, Wilford was the #1 target, hence; Reggie is bust a for a high 1st rd selection until furthur notice. I see your point but this years crop of WR's is by no stretch of the imaganition worthy of a high 1st rd gamble. Even if you wanted to apply the 'best avaible player' stratgey then there is still no WR that warrants an 11th pk. Conversly, CB Jenkins and McKelvin would merit such a high pk according to most rankings.
  8. perhaps we should throw in Evans or Lynch while we are at it Their 2nd is highly coveted around the NFL
  9. Last time I checked, QB's were not impervious to injuries. Dont know about you but I would relish the fact that we had a backup QB familiar w/ the offense and has a good rapport w/ our best WR Evans. That QB controversy is only created when the coach becomes ambivalent on a starter.
  10. http://buf.scout.com/2/739162.html 64 percent bust rate to WR's drafted in 1st rd from 1997-2006! This is good empiricial evidence to the conclusion that Buff should go w/ a CB in 1st. I have to agree w/ Dunne assesment. The reality is that WR's are to precarious to gamble with and we still can pursue a good WR in 2nd. What say you?
  11. 29th ranked pass defense last year Yea, we are stellar at pass defense; thus, there is no need for CB on your brilliant list.
  12. Are we alluding to the same coaches that have not achieved a playoff spot in the 21st Century (2nd worst in the league) ????
  13. Preceding Super Tuesday, McCain and Romeny's attacks to one another did not reach the level Hillary has taken all along. As far as Huckabee goes, he showed class the whole election. As much as disagree w/ Mccain's idealogy, I give him credit when it is warranted.
  14. Let me start by saying I was open and impartial coming into this race. However, these days not so much. Congrats Hillary on substantially increasing the stigma that politicians have on prevaricating, blatantly lying and being insidous to get votes. Her campaign has officially more spins than a harlem globetrotters game. 1st, she insist's on belittling any state that she does not win. Then, she embarks on trying to alter the rules while having the audacity to claim victory in Flordia and Michigan. When things were going sour, she was able to invoke racisim in this election with Bill's eloquent insinuations. If you are an African American, why would you vote for her after she tried to portray Barack as the 'Black Candidate"? If that's not bad enough, I am starting to lose count of her failure to recollect the truth. 1st, with NAFTA now with sniper fire. Really Hillary? How do you honestly mispeak on recieving sniper fire? As a soldier who fought in Iraq, I am profoundly insulted by her exaggerations. She was inquired several times about this event and only retracted her statement ensuing the video that came out. Im at a point where I question everything that spews out of her mouth. Shame on you Hillary! If the worst comes out of you while trying to achieve your best, then you best not achieve it. Oh yea and Hillary is entitled to the Presidency so because Bill Richardson was in their cabinet, he needs to be loyal instead of voting for the best candidate. Her campaign can effortlessly be summed up in one word, pathetic. I concede that Barack's pastor's recent words were unequivocally reprehensible. However, I understand the animosity the black community still has toward a predominatly white government. If some of you do not and are baffled with the double standard we perhaps have, then pick up Fredrick Douglass's autobiography 'An American Slave', then read about the civil rights movement especially in the south. The Reality is that there is still a genration today that played a part in opressing black people. Perhaps that merits animosity. As a child of mixed parents, I can empathize w/ Barack's decision to stand by Rev wright. I have very close white friends who make racist remarks on ocassions. I also have Black and Hispanic friends who do the same (when im w/ white people they portray me as white and when Im w/ Blacks and hispanics they portray me as puerto rican n black). I call out all my friends when they make these remarks but I never reject them as my friends. If I rejected everyone that I know whom uttered racist remarks then I would have no friends or family left. The reality is that racism is very prevalant in this nation and if you are informed of our history then you would comprehend the hatred some blacks still carry today. Reality Check Dear Hillary and all your supporters, Your chances in winning the Democratic race is nearly insurmountable. Barring some miraculous event you are not going to be the choice. You are down in the Popular vote and in the delegates. Your only chance was the Flordia n Michigan do overs but that is no longer an option, thus the inevitablity of Barack being the nominee. So please stop fabricating stories to invigorate your experience. Please stop pernicously altering the truth to get votes. The only success you have had is in dividing the democratic party in race, education and finanical status. I commend the Republican party for running a cleaner race and standing by McCain when they needed to.
  15. How can anyone without a penis vote for this woman? If your worst comes out of you while trying to achieve your best, then you best not achieve it!
  16. Our D-line is not comparative to our inept offense. Your claim that 2nd & later round picks are inconsequential is quite amusing and makes me question your capacity to comprehend this game. Our last two drafts (which are the only ones that truly merit any examination on the grounds of this front office's absence to former drafts) have been pretty prudent and for the most part encouraging. Lynch, Edwards, Parrish, Poz, Whitner, Simpson and others really can't constitute inadequacy. Our decade of medicore football teams is from 1) Inconsistent QB's (all those so called succesful teams you alluded too have a pro bowl QB) 2) Failure to keep good players (cold weather & avergae records are not very enticing to free agents) and 3) Bad coaching preceding Dick's arrival (he can only do so much w/ the talent he has). Yes our D-line has played a role to our lack of sucess but to make that the major factor in this absurd premise you so eloquently conjured up, is just foolish. Perhaps you should reassess this argument and live off of these words in the future..."Its better to remain silient and be thought a fool than to open's one mouth and remove all doubt :thumbsup":
  17. TD plagued us for several years On the bright side, at least we didn't have Matt Millen
  18. whacked out? Is that the best you can come up with or are you just retarded?
  19. LT is the greatest LB of all time He trancended the position tremoundously! We would be blessed if Willis possesed half the talent of LT
  20. Daunte will be available very soon
  21. Its imperative that we give McCargo a chance since we gave up a lot to retireve him. D. Walker will instantly invigorate our line. Your premise is reaching too much. We have way too many holes to concentrate on You are underestimating the importance of a good LB core.
  22. AJ has lost all his marbles I personally think that turner only merits a 3rd, a 2nd is too risky!
  23. Im think he will immediately flourish this season, so Im not big on drafting a CB till later rounds!
