Getting smoked by a third string QB. Unreal.
Against a 3rd string D.

Momentum is against us. But it is hard to fault the D when we have so many players out. They are essentially up against our 2nd or even 3rd string across most of the D other than the line.

3rd a.nd 11, we are bad at that

It sure would be nice to see our offense be able to do something on their next drive, but I am not holding my breath.
Run the ball a little.

Bills have lost three defensive starters today so far.
Bernard

Benford
Spector was effectively a starter for today and may not return.

I can live with 3 points there after a horrible blow losing Bernard.

Sal reports that Bass punted in college.
Will he injure himself on a punt?

Theoretically Martin should still be able to hold for kicks, I hope.

Was that considered a turnover-worthy throw?

This whole "he'll never recover" mentality makes no sense. He's not even 85% back at his current level. It's very reasonable to expect him to be improved next year. Will he have a falloff due to being 35 instead of say 32-33 before that? Yes. Will he recover "100%"? Unlikely. However, people writing him off as "done" don't have a lot of evidence for that. Someone who tears an ACL at 34 can absolutely recover most of the way back, but they will generally recover far slower than a 21 year old. If he puts the work in, he can get back to NFL level. Elite level? Who knows, probably not. Still doesn't make him "done".

The fumble? A guy was literally immediately in the pocket hitting the ball in his hands. 🤷♂️
I was premature in calling it a bad game. It did not start well with 2 INTs in the endzone, a strip sack, and a failed drive at the end of the 1st half. However he picked it up and also outplayed Tua.

Yeah but he also does that and wins the East
Lamar had a better ratio (with fewer TDs and fewer INTs) and won his division. Most likely the other division winning QBs also had a better ratio (again with less of each). The only guy with more turnovers (before today) was Sam Howell the QB of the 2nd worst team in the NFL.
Josh must not have 3 turnovers in each playoff game or we'll be out early.
Is he still an amazing player who could be in the HOF someday? Yes. But to be the best or to win the SB, he needs to cut down on turnovers.

44 touchdowns dude…
And how many turnovers? 22? That's not a good ratio. 3:1 or better is a good ratio.

If I'm the Bills or Fins and it gets to the tie position I don't contest to avoid injuries.
The 6 seed? Bleah.

Still leaning that way, yes. Great play though.

He isn't winning the NFL MVP. Its crazy talk still happens on this subject. Too many turnovers and back to back statistically bad games for a QB trying to win MVP.
Add another bad game to that.

That was a missed block. We are in deep trouble now.

they showed the replay from the QB POV- play was actually designed to go to the rb believe it or not
So did the RB run the route wrong?
