  1. Did anyone think he was hitting the holes faster this week? Because it definitly looked like that to me. I think he is going to come around now as a kick return if he keeps using his speed from the start

It was a nice return for a change but he looked like he was running out of steam towards the end of the run.

  2.

Absolutely. I seriously have to question the sanity of anyone that walks away from this game and feels like our defense let us down. Honestly....what game were you watching? Ok sure its cool to think we can sack Favre a million times but sh--. We had a pick 6 and held them 16 points what more do you want?

The difference is the Jest's were converting the 3rd downs when they needed them. The bills are giving thier opponients too much space before contact. what good does it do to tackle 5-6 yards down the field?

  3. Well, the Bills are either contenders or pretenders. I really didn't expect to win all three of these divisional games and get to 8-1. In many ways this game was the least important of the three games. If they bounce back and win next week (and I think the Jets team is actually a worse team than the Dolphins) they'll be playing NE for the division lead.

Every team has ups and downs. Did you really expect the Bills to just run away with the division?

Yes that was my thinking.:censored:

  4. We're all mad about the loss. But if you're blaming Perry, then you are an absolute moron. We held them to 52 yards rushing. McGee shouldn't have played and got burned by Ginn, which horribly inflated our defensive stats.

The Offense lost the game. That Defense played well, and gave the ball back to the Offense many times. All those turnovers... The Offense had EVERY opportunity to win that game. If your gonna blame a Co-ordinator, blame Turk.

Dockery wasn't that bad. Royal is.

I blame the defensive secondary. We stopped the run and the trick plays but Pennington looked like Tom Brady out there picking our defense apart. Why didn't Perry blitz more? It seemed to work the few times they did. (One sack and hurry up pass no completion)

  5. Man, what is wrong with Buffalo fans? "The mighty are falling?" We lost a !@#$ing road game one week after the biggest win in 5 years. IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO EVERY TEAM! It's all about how we respond.

I'm not saying things are doom and gloom but we just lost to the Miami Dolphins with Chad Pennington as their quarterback! Ted Jinn Jr. has the game of his life and Edwards gets sacked in the end zone.

I must be in bazarro world. This can't be happening :censored:

  6. That is an excellent question. If I were the 49ers, I certainly would do a series of interviews.

But, I don't think hiring Singletary without the process would violate the NFL policy. It's very clear the policy is meant to rectify some of the built-in injustices in the system. As people hire those they know, coached with, have heard of, and those who once had the job, the bias is toward "cronyism"...the old (usually White) by network. The requirement of interviewing minority candidates simply gets other names in the process, gives them opportunities to interview, gets their name out there...and sometimes gets them jobs. In 10-15 years, Black coaches will be fairly entrenched in the old boy network, and probably won't need the leg-up.

If the rule was meant to rectify "cronyism" why not make it so you have to interview at least X amount of coordinators and not specifically minority personnel? If I remember correctly, when the rule came into effect there was an out cry from players about the disparity in the percentage of black players and black head coaches.

In the end I think it was a good rule, only because we do not see the same old coaches with different teams every year. If anything the pendulum has swung the other way whereas every team wants to hire the youngest and freshest coordinator they can find. Even if they are one hit wonders (like Mangini).

  7. It wasn't just the Patriots who played bad. The Dolphins looked really good both running and passing (short range and in the middle of the field, where Pennington does his best work). Lets hope it's just a fluke and hope the Dolphins return to their old self after today.
