An independent neurologist is involved during these steps.
The average length of time a player misses is 19 days. But this did not look like a wicked hit to me. We won't really know more until later in the week.

Wow, I figured all along that QBR was based on stats. In both games, Allen was facing the statistically better defense. In both games, Allen has little help from the running game and the opposing RBs were solid contributors. Rivers was facing a game plan specifically designed to stop the RBs. To Jackson's credit, our defensive game plan was mostly to stop him from running, but that opens up passing stats. Both games were close into the 4th quarter. In both games Allen outplayed his counterpart.
It turns out that QBR is quite subjective and based also on the inverse of awesomeness of your quarterback, or more appropriately the protection afforded to you by your offense line.
From Wikipedia:
- Each QB "action play" (passes, rushes, sacks, scrambles, or penalties attributable to the QB) is measured in terms of the expected points added (EPA)
- Adjust for the difficulty of each play. EPA is adjusted based on the type and depth of a pass, and whether the QB was pressured.
- If there is a completion, he only is credited for the typical number of yards after the catch (passer rating takes all yards into effect) based on the type and depth of the pass
- There is a discount on garbage time, or a time where the score is out of reach near the end of the game.
- Opponent adjustment: More credit is given with tougher defenses and vice versa.
- QBR averages the adjusted EPA per play and transforms it to a 0 to 100 scale, with 50 being average.

Awesome win against a great Ravens squad. The game overall was well played and closer than the score, with the Hughs/TJ play sequence basically a 14 point swing. Bring on whomever is next!

Why so much shade about Norman? To my eyes, Norman neither stands out significantly better or worse than other options.
Norman: Allowed 19 catches on 27 targets, 23 solo tackles in 344 snaps, a couple game changing plays.
Levi Wallace: Allowed 34 catches on 61 targets, 43 solo tackles in 612 snaps, 2 picks.
For what it's worth, PFF grade is 9 points higher for Norman compared to Wallace.

IMO - If our front four could eat up the RBs more often, our LBs and Safeties would be more inclined to cover the TEs. Andrews is definitely coverable by our guys, but if the LBs are chasing Jackson and Dobbins, who is left to cover Andrews? Kelce is a tough matchup for any defense and there's no stopping that connection short of double coverage or an incredible pass rush. Tre White was able to frustrate Gronk the other year.

I hope 6,700 strong give the Bills some early juice and help to neutralize the good running game of the Colts.

There should be quality veterans at many positions next year to fill any holes or provide depth at low cost on one year deals. The Bills will be an intriguing destination for them. At LB, I like what I see from 44 and wouldn't mind him seeing more time on D. I would look to keep the OLINE pass pro strong above anything else.

I would expect Jets to take a hard look at Fields, despite Sam Darnold being on the roster. Miami is likely sold on Tua and will look to trade down.

He has better stats in the last few weeks, in part due to the defenses he has faced. But he is big and fast and very prolific in college. Hines is wicked shifty and very fast as well. Both players are recorded as amongst the fastest ball carriers this season. Game is Saturday 1pm. Game on.

We are about 6M over the cap right now with top 51.
Rookies may be just a bit more expensive than the bottom players, so perhaps we are 8M over after rookies.
Possible cap savings:
L Smith 2M
M Addison 6M
J Brown 8M
Q Jefferson 6.5M
V Butler 7M
Of those, perhaps Brown and Butler underperformed in 2020. In fact, for 2021, perhaps all of them project to underperform, given that there will be serviceable veterans available this year for a one year deals closer to league minimum. Those cuts would be enough to re-sign our three guys listed and maybe a couple other one-year fill in players. I suspect a couple one-year fill-ins will play an important role in the 2021 Bills.
