  1. I totally agree with you, Penn State players rarely translate to the NFL besides the ones you named Going back to 87. That year they had 2 picks go in the first round Conlan who was good and DJ Dozier who wasnt. They didnt have a single player go in the first round again till 1990 when the Jets took Blair Thomas 2nd overall and he is an all time flop. In 93 the Dollphins took OJ McDuffie in the first to continue the Flop streak. In 95 they had three players go in the top ten of the draft, Kyle Brady, Kerry Collins, and KiJana Carter while Brady and Collins have had long careers they are both flops especially to the teams that took them, and Carter I am not sure he ever even played(due to injury so flop, flop, flop). In 96 they had two go in the first Jeff Hartings hit and Andre Johnson flop(also noteably that year Bobby Engram went in the second round so that could be a hit I guess). In 98 the Bears took Curtis Enis in the first (big Flop). Then in 2000 as you pointed out Courtney Brown and Lavar Arrington both Flops. In 2003 they had 4 players go in the first round. Jimmy Kennedy (flop), Bryant Johnson (flop),Michael Haynes(Flop), and Larry Johnson hit, in 2006 Tambi Hali still is a question mark good first year not so hot since, and Levi Brown who is looking better.

I consider KIJana Carter, given his college career and the expectations, as the all time draft flop.

  2. I believe the solution to the Peters situation is to just rip up the last two years of his contract and give him 8 mil or so a year for the 2 years.

He gets a good wage and gets his big payday in 2 years. WE get to keep him around for the original length of the contract at a reasonable number.

    Opinions?

  3. If you like overly-tanned sluts in broken heals and fights and guidos in leather jackets and cross necklaces and people ripping lines in every bathroom and dirty hot dogs and puke on the sidewalk then Chippewa is awesome.

Who doesn't like overly tanned sluts? :P

  4. I cancelled my seasons that I had for ten years after the 1975 season when we were right in the middle of some really funky sh*t. I think Kay Stephenson was the coach. Shortly thereafter Ralph got tired of losing and hired the only 'big name ' coach in Bills history, Chuck Knox. I keep waiting for Ralph to get tired of losing now and go out and get a Marty or a Cowher, But I dont think he gives a crap

I was expecting one big ticket free agent signing this off-season, if for no other reason than to energize the fan base. I'm still waiting.

  5. totally agree that we need to add a veteran wr, but was not excited by any of the names mentioned. Wee don't need a big name, just somebody with speed, like a Dennis Northcutt, who's kickked around but can catch a football. WE were caught very short last year when Reed went down.
