Briggs is disgruntled in a business sense.. I think anyone who wants to cash in would take his stance.. I think if he came here, signed a nice deal he would be happy to help the Bills become a Super Bowl contender in the future. I like his play, and I like trade. If the front office feels he is the right fit, I am all for it, although I would like a 4th rounder or something along those lines coming our way. We need all the draft picks we can get!

to be honest, i think I would rather draft lynch.. Although I am thinking in a biased state of mind feeling those other positions need to be filled sooner than later, I think that if lynch is drafted at 12, it means Marv and Co. feel that lynch is a better fit for the bills and will prosper more than MT would in our offense. Either way, go Bills! And do you know of either a CB/LB you really like in late 1 or rd 2?

Yeah, it won't be the end of the world, but is there a game changing LB/CB in rd 2?? or even at the end of round 1? We are sitting pretty at 12 because we can get a player that will come in and start NOW at a position that desperately needs to be filled. While I do believe we need to fill RB pretty bad, I think that could be done in the second round and get a pretty good back. I just don't see that same talent and impact in round 2 for those other positions. Agree/Disagree? If you see someone I have overlooked at those positions, I would love to know about them. It would make parting ways with that prime pick easier.

Drafting a player and trading for a player are two different things.. You don't trade a 1st rd pick for a RB, but if the guy you covet is there at your pick in the draft, you take him.. It's just the way the markey works.

If we gave up the #12 pick, I would have trouble watching the Bills next season.. It will just urk me to no end. I know the possibility is slim, but the thought makes my stomach turn.

The going rate for solid RBs that are established and/or pro bowl caliber (edge, thomas jones, even shawn alexander and tra henry) has not been a 1st round draft choice in recent years. Willis McGahee was worth two 3rd Rounders(next year's most likely late round as well) and a 7th. So why would the Bills even consider giving up more than an early third or at most two 3rd rounders for Turner? He can be effective, has less wear, we know all of this. An argument against the RBs mentioned above was they would be expensive to sign long term, but do we actually think that Turner will come cheap? The only way that we will trade for him is if he signs a long term deal; and he is going to demand starter money. He won't come cheap either. IMO, anything more than two 3rd rounders or POSSIBLY next years 2nd (hopefully mid to late rd) is costing too much for this guy. We can address RB in the draft in the 2nd round for much cheaper and potentially a better fit depending on who is there. I hope we don't overpay for MT. Opinions?

you fail to mention the great 1st round RBs like Curtis Enis, Rashaan Salaam, Lawerence Phillips, KiJana Carter.. And in recent Buffalo Bills history, Willis McGahee wasn't too hot a pick for us. We have some really pressing needs, and RB is one of them, but this year isn't the year to pick a RB in round 1.

and drafting Adrian Peterson. Marv is a sly old cat, he has a game plan. There's a reason we signed all of those offensive lineman this offseason, Thats to block for AP!!!!!!! Do we need defensive help? yes. Did we need offensive help last year, and only draft defense? You cant fix every hole in the offseason, you do what you can to make your team better, AP makes our team better. If you dont like the fact that he is an injury risk, GET OVER IT!

Not to be cynical, but does anyone else question that the contractor had keys to the house and the most to gain from a flood, and happened to just discover this disaster? I hope Royal has a security system which logs access so he can be sure the contractor didn't come in just before the flood as well....
It's nice to hear some new information about the players!
I think you are looking too much into it.. also did you catch the part that stated royal turned off his water before he left after the season ended.

serious question. Very similar style runners, same offense. Arrington is a little faster, Lynch a little bigger.
Arrington has done nothing in the NFL at all. What makes Lynch different?
my friend who is a college football RB and actually knows a thing or two about RBs said the same thing about Lynch.. I rather shy away from him, and go after a CB/DT.

Well considering we lost the BEST corner in league history (or just the richest) and London Fletcher: Worlds best midget linebacker.. then we should get a compensatory first pick overall next year.. If only the world worked with this logic.

I would love Willis, Posluszny if we can get him later in the 1st (trade back into the 1st round like we have in the past after selecting someone at #12).. I don't think I am comfortable with Okoye, but Hall would be a great addition.
