  1. the guy is injury prone, he's played in just 13 of GB's last 25 games in the last 2 years.
  2. we use it more for "big brother" is watching - with speed cameras and CCCTV Cameras.
  3. it was banned a couple of years ago though the Conservative Party have promised to repeal it if they win power. It was seen as a cruel sport, hunting a fox with a pack of dogs, the supporters of hunting claimed it was pest control. Well I think a shotgun does the trick a lot quicker. Rural communities weren't enamoured by the law at all, though the majority of the population supported it. became a real rural v urban lifestyle batte.
  4. yes you need a licence to own and recieve TV pictures. The licence fee goes to pay for the BBC and keeps the BBC quality. They keep a centralised database of who has licence, who doesn't renew it, its also law the retailers when they sell a TV they inform the authorities. Before TV you use to have to have a licence for your radio.
  5. you have to laugh at us good old Brits. There was a program about the kid on TV last night, not heard the dog one before. You got a link? As for the TV licence thing its not as clever as people think
  6. umm, I have a chest infection. Last Thursday rang the Dr's at 8am and had an appointment for 8.20am. Bet you don't get to here those stories though. All you'll here is the neagtives. The main issue whether its private or public healthcare in the UK is a lack of Doctors. We have private healthcare and my other half has still had to wait for 3 weeks to see someone.
  7. and if he had got off his ass and went to accident and emergency he would have been treated straight away. Personally dont think there is a perfect health system, our NHS has it issues but you cant tell me that there are no problems with the US system.
  8. There's a heck of a lot of history in Buffalo though and to some people that means something. I couldn't imagine the Bills being anywhere else - LA Bills doesn't sound right. Why is Buffalo seen as a small market team? I would have thought that with Toronto across the way the potential is a lot larger. I read a good thing on the Bengals site about small market teams and the consensus that appears to be growing. http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=5902
