  1. Solid explaination of the suspension.

He was suspended because he still broke the law, which no one here is refuting and I think we can all agree he deserved. As seen in your first post you seem to have never fully understood what entailed the award with the posting of his personal statistics and on field performance. It was awarded by his fellow teammates, as The Dean posted, who i think recognized someone on their team who has made steps toward being a better human being after making a terrible decision which I can imagine at least encourages Mr. Stallworth that he has taken the proper steps during some of his darkest times.

  2. I have a can't miss idea for the Buffalo Bills. The Ralph has the Wall of Fame. One of the loudest staduims (at one time) and hardest places to play in the NFL has the fans (12th man) on the wall. So, why not put up another wall in the Bills' future, ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....alternate home in the Rogers Centre. I'm talking about the Wall of Shame.

In a building where we've never won a game, where there is no cold weather to our advantage, nor crowd noise to help us, virtually no offense every single time we play there. What a perfect place to do this! Here is my list of inductees:

    1. J.P. Losman

    2. Trent Edwards

    3. Dick Jauron

    4. Billy Jo Hobert

    5. Russ Brandon

    6. Marv Levy (the GM)

    7. Tom Donahoe (THE GM)

    8. Orenthal (The Killer)

    9. The Elvis guy in section 8 (oh, sorry, he is a "Section 8", and a tool)

    10. The drunk who urinates in the sink at the Ralph.

    11. The nob who fist fights with his wife at the Ralph.

    12. The guy who changed our uniforms after the 2001 season.

    13. The cab driver that tell Chris Berman who the Bills will be drafting ever single year.

    14. Chris Mortensen

    15. Jerry Sullivan

    16. Mr. Big town (bleep)-rider, Colin Cowherd

    17. Leon Lett (had he not fumbled in SB XXVII, we would've given up the most points in SB history!)

    18. Scott Norwood

    19. Bill Cowher

    20. Mike Shannahan

Feel free to add to the inaugural "Wall of Shame"!...

    Thurman Thomas's Helmet

  3. Obviously there were some suitors for Lynch this past draft, however the Bills didn't get the 2nd round pick they were supposedly looking for. I gave it some thought and was wondering how deep the the 2011 draft is for RBs ? He's signed for two more years, maybe the FO thinks they'll get better value for him next year. If so, it might prove to be a smart move, especially if Bell shows signs of progress.

Off the top of my head if some of them declare

    Ingram from Bama

    Royster from Penn State

    Williams from V-Tech

  4. He is going to be an outstanding NFL QB. Clausen sucks, McCoy is medicore at best. Everyone else in the draft is a joke. Campbell from Washington is garbage also. So you can look forward to another year of Trent Edwards and another decade of 7-9 football.

    you're an idiot

  5. Don't get to upset with people who can't take a joke. I've posted stuff intended as a joke and got blasted for it some people just don't have a sense of hummer. I've even had the "moderators" send me nasty E-mails threatening to get me kicked of this board because I told some guy to get a life and he was a walking encyclopedia. So take it with a grain of salt the posters and the "moderators" on this board can't help the way they are. But don't sink to there level by calling them idiots because I don't think that they are they just take their beloved Bills a little bit to serious.

    A sense of hummer ?

Trust me, i can always sense when i'm getting a hummer

  6. I have been reading many posts regarding the Bills taking Jimmy Clausen if he is available with the 9th pick. In fact it would be shocking to see him not be available at 9.

The Rams are the only absolute QB selection in the entire 1st round. The Redskins are taking a left tackle, Seattle got their QB of the future, Cleveland is waiting until later in the draft and has too many needs and in reviewing the available players and team needs, Clausen will be their for the Bills at pick number 9.

I don't think this guy is a franchise QB that fits in Buffalo. First of all he has small hands which lead to problems throwing a wet ball (half the games in Buffalo), has known issues with attitude and leadership and may have peaked under a pro system at Notre Dame. Meaning he is as good he is going to get. Plus, he would get killed with the oline issues we have and lack of skill position players.

Isn't it better to build the team inside out, meaning an offensive tackle, a guard, a NT and and edge pass rusher before any skill players.

If Buddy Nix and Chan Gailey think Clausen is the guy, look for a trade down to either Houston at 20 or Cincinnati at 21 and pick up a 2nd and 4th or late 3rd based on trade chart value. Then you could take him at 20 or 21 and pick up a NT and OT in round 2, grab an edge pass rush player in round 3 and get an OG and WR in round 4.

If this can be done, draft him and start him and build very much like the Colts did with Peyton Manning and take the beating in year one and build from their

can you please tell me why exactly Houston or Cincy would want to trade into the #9 spot? It's easy to say oh we should trade down and pick up some more picks. But in this talent heavy draft, why would these already playoff contending teams want to trade into our spot?

  7. It would only be worse if Marhsawn Lynch and Ko Simpson flew in and there was a Gun Show, Police Convention and a High Times Conference in town.

Shouldn't Maybin be learning how to run side line to side line as a newly transitioned Line Backer?

Actually on second thought he could learn how to run sideline to sideline from McNewknee. If that is the case continue on Maybin I give you credit for innovative training methods.

shouldnt you be worried about your own life and not some 20 somethin year olds personal life

  8. Do you even know what Twitter is? Its one of the most powerful tools on the internet and in the world today, and its "following twitters of somebody you don't know"...seriously dude...you just look dumb and out of touch.

This has to be one of the most asinine statements i have ever read. How exactly is one of the most powerful tools on the internet today? You really need to reevaluate your life, because getting that upset over someone you don't know having fun during the Superbowl makes you just look dumb and out of touch with the real world.

  9. Below are Vick's career passing stats from Atlanta from ESPN website. Would you really call him a good QB? He seems to have very pedestrian numbers for a QB. Career completion percentage is below 60% . No season with over 3000 yards passing. And a career passer rating below 80.

YEAR TEAM G CMP ATT PCT YDS AVG TD LNG INT RAT

    2001 ATL 8 50 113 44.2 785 6.9 2 52 3 62.7

    2002 ATL 15 231 421 54.9 2936 7 16 74 8 81.6

    2003 ATL 5 50 100 50 585 5.9 4 49 3 69

    2004 ATL 15 181 321 56.4 2313 7.2 14 62 12 78.1

    2005 ATL 15 214 387 55.3 2412 6.2 15 58 13 73.1

    2006 ATL 16 204 388 52.6 2474 6.4 20 55 13 75.7

    2009 PHI 12 6 13 46.2 86 6.6 1 43 0 93.7

    Career 86 936 1743 53.7 11591 6.7 72 74 52 75.9

so youre saying you want him too?

  10. I hope Belicheck wants to get into the top 10. The Bills could trade their 1st (9) and 3rd (72) to the Pats for their 1st (22), 2nd (47) and 2nd (53). The point chart has us giving up 1580 and getting 1580. After the deal, we would have 22, 41, 47 and 53 instead of 9, 41 and 72.

I'm thinking the Pats might not want to pay 3 second rounders and it makes sense for the Bills rebuild to do this deal. Consider that Bflo got Wood, Byrd and Levitre in that span last year.

There's a simple reason why NE was stock piling 2nd rounders last year during the draft. This is one of the deepest talented drafts (especially on the defensive side) and theyre going to get great value most likely on all their picks. They do not want to trade into the top 10.
