    these were the weakest candidates yet.  thankfully the best one did win.  i hope the next group are a huge step up.

    I'll agree with that. I think the candidates on the past two seasons were really a step below those on Season 1. Bill is apparently doing a good job for the Trump empire, since he just got his contract extended.

    Yeah, asking someone to back up their statement of "CABLE IS BETTER!" is getting worked up.   :huh:

     

    Have you had DirecTV or Dish before?  If not, how can you say the service is better with cable?  I have Comcast and their service is not better by any stretch of the imagination.  Took me four weeks, being on the phone with them for roughly 4 hours a day in order to get my broadband setup because they kept giving me the runaround.  When they finally figured out their stupid mistake (which I told them the problem from day one, but nobody would listen...), I asked for a free month of service and they said, "We won't do that, but we won't charge you for the month you havn't had the service for."   :doh:   Gee, thanks.  Jerks.

     

    DirecTV, on the other hand, accidentally blacked out part of the Wild/Ducks NHL playoff game.  With one phone call and 5 minutes of time gave me a free month of service for the mishap.  B-)

    Just because you got what you think is bad service from Comcast, doesn't mean they are like that to everyone. I've heard plenty of horror stories about dtv also. I've had nothing but quality service and reception from Comcast. I also like their high speed internet service... I was able to set it up myself without any issues. Thats something that dtv can't match.

    If you're going to make a statement like that, back it up with facts (or at least opinions...).  The DTV crowd has given their reasons why they feel DTV is better.

     

    DTV Advantages:

    Cheaper price

    Better hardware - TiVo, nuff said

    Better software - TiVo, nuff said

    Better picture quality - all digital picture on all channels

    Better customer service - #1 in customer satisfaction for the last 3+ years

    Sunday Ticket (not necessary for local Bills fans, but is for everyone else IMHO)

     

    Care to share why you think cable beats that?

    Calm down son. It's Ok if you like dtv better. I've just had better service and like the overall quality of cable better. I have Comcast, which I've heard is better than Adelphia. I don't mind paying a little more for a better product. Nothing to get worked up over .. take a few deep breaths ... you'll feel better.

    I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would choose cable over Directv.

    Probably because Cable is a superior product over dtv. Most people who pick dtv over Cable, do it because of the price. There is a reason cable costs slightly more ... it's a better product.

    The best Stones show that I ever saw was the performance at the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium in the summer of '75

    That was my first Stones concert. I've seen them tons of times since. I've never been disappointed. They will always be the "Worlds Greatest Rock and Roll Band".

    I don't think he has ever held his team in limbo. Sherman told him after the season, to take as much time as he needs to make his decision on coming back in 2005.
