The Bills were not the true champions of pro football in those years.  They had some great teams, but their achievements don't stack up to the 1990's AFC champion Bills.

The 64 + 65 teams were the only true champions in the teams history. In those years, they won the last game of the season that they could possibly play. The 90's teams always ended the season with a loss. The team that won 4 straight AFC titles was great, but not as great as the 64/65 AFL Champions.

Ahhh, but that one win in '68, on a crappy day at War Memorial against Namath's Super Bowl bound Jets, made it a successful season.   

 

I think we picked him off 4 times, which led him to say something about how much he hated playing the Bills at home because they were so tough there.  Only respect we got that year, but it came from the best QB playing.
