With the money Al Davis raked in from continually pinballing between Oakland and LA, and the way Baltimore bailed out pig-faced satan, I would say that we owe Wilson much more than he owes us. The Bills could have been the Baltimore Ravens......
Well-said. He served the city of Buffalo by keeping the team here and not being tempted like Al Davis and others to boomerang their teams out of their native homes.
The Buffalo Bills franchise is an asset. It will be sold at auction to the highest bidder, who would likely move the team to a new location. Let's enjoy the Bills while they remain here in Buffalo.

The NFL Total Access is unwatchable. Rich Eisen practices his standup career. Rod Woodsen picks the Ravens/Steelers in every poll because he played for them. Marshall Faulk is a blabbering idiot. There are enough Tools on that show to fill up a tool belt.
The show has way too much blabber. The Sunday network shows are not perfect but they do a far better job editing and cutting out garbage time, which NFL Total Access has WAY too much of.
Rich Eisen is unbearable to watch.

hmmmm well why don't you try - Buffalo Bills Head Coach.
it actually sounds more intelligent than the grade school name you came up with
-
He thinks maybe Gailey convinced the Bills they can win with Edwards.
Billick never said that. I've been watching Total Access on NFL Network since 7 pm
Billick asserted that Gailey may find that the quarterback the Bills move forward with is on the team, as in Edwards. Then Billick chimed in with his thoughts on Edwards, which are favorable.

John Clayton = IGNORE

I love the Bills too much to cancel my season's tickets
The more I love them, the more enraged I get when they do something I don't like
Do I love the hire of Gailey? No
But that's not enough for me to sit at home watching this team
-
We gave the benefit of the doubt to Dick Jauron and his two offensive coordinators, Fairchild and Schonert
Results:
2006 7-9
2007 7-9
2008 7-9
2009 6-10
I suppose you're right. Let's let 4 years play out and see if we can avoid another mediocre four year period with B-grade assistants
-
I don't love the Gailey hire.
But I love the blowhards at Around the Horn even less. Best to put those goons on ignore.
-
We are condemned to mediocrity with Ralph as owner.
And then yes, the team will be sold at auction to highest bidder and then moved.
The decline from the 4 Superbowl years has been painful
-
Thurman "always" has the inside scoop of what's happening at 1BD
-
Could you please attach link that works
-
The Bills are not for sale
And won't be available for sale until the auction that follows Ralph's death
At that point, highest bidder will take all
He will decide where he wants the Bills home to be
And even if he decides to move the team, he'll need league approval
That's when the real fight to keep the team in Buffalo begins
-
well ralph from what i heard ran polian out of town so.....
"from what I heard"
Where did you hear that DELLAPELLE?
From the same source that kept you spamming the board the other night with "cowher to bills on tues...."
I must have missed today's press conference announcing the appointment of Cowher as the Bills HC. You were SO certain so I believed you

Firing Jauron during the season was another brilliant move by Brandon.
Unloading Jauron midseason put Jauron out on the market before the end of the season and put him in the conversation mix for defensive coordinators.
If he was to get hired by another team, the Bills wouldn't have to eat his entire Bills contract, merely some amount over and above his new salary
Brandon saved Ralph money. Money that can be used to land a new coach.

Who would www.EastAurora.org have "learned" this information from?
And their report is dated 6:30AM, Monday morning, which would suggest their information was gathered on Sunday or Sunday night
All day Monday, reports have suggested that Cowher intends to return to CBS
I haven't seen a report form EastAurora.org today refuting that point
For me, all of this is hyperbole ... ESPN, Glazer, EastAurora.org, etc.
Let's wait for the announcement and then we can start to strategize about what type of team the Bills will be in 2009
Until then, it's really just a guessing game by ESPN and the rest of the media pack, and members of Two Bills Drive as well

This isn't the first time that Belichek has denigrated Casserly. I recall him saying something along the lines of "well, you'll have to ask Charlie Casserly about that" as a snide response to a reporter's question.
-
let's hope there were boxes outside John Guy's and Tom Modrak's door too......
I'll one up you on that
I hope they are escorted out of the building by security and sent their personal items in a box via UPS

The comparison to 9/11 is a bit unsettling.
I stopped reading after that point
Stupid drivel
-
I wouldn't be surprised if Brandon/Nix had a special sit-down with April to gently hint that they'd make a special plea to the next HC to give him special consideration
-
And just how does one assemble a staff under a 1 year deal?
It would never work
-
all speculation, they wouldnt meet with cowher 2-3 times and then on the 3rd time say how u doing..... cowher to bills on tues
I hate the Patriots
I hate their players
But I'd never wish injuries on anyone
It's surprising the injury was a non-contact injury and based on a cut he made. He's a slot receiver who's always out in space with all sorts of linebackers and secondary players closing in. I figured if Welker would ever be injured, it would be a contact injury.
-
the article is speculating......
Child, you were the one speculating
You spammed various Two Bills Drive threads over and over with your "cowher to Bills on tues...."
http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...t&p=1691192
So what time's the press conference on Tuesday to announce Cowher as the Bills head coach?
-
Thanks for this thread. When I saw the picture, I was going to create one.
Man, Aaron looks SKINNY!
With no strength and conditioning coach at this point in time, who's gonna give Aaron the directive to put on 15-20lb of lean muscle mass over the offseason?
Aaron, beef up please.
-
I thought you guaranteed he'd be signing here on Tuesday? As if your credibility wan't already shot. Go enjoy some more crow.
What?
"DELLAPELLE JOHN" had credibility??
"cowher to Bills on tues....." .... if only DELLAPELLE could say it one more time, just for old time's sake
Regarding the viewpoint that Maybin is too small

Yeah, so he bulked up for the combine because he was consuming (1) 40-60 grams of protein 6-7 times per day and (2) he trained hard.
But how aggressive was he post-combine in adhering to the discipline of that much protein intake over the day.
If you don't keep it up, you lose mass, which he likely did post-combine
And building mass during the season is difficult because drills, practices, film room study takes away from all out dedication to fitness that is possible during the offseason.
