  1. V.COACH BILLS: Free agents DT Ryan Pickett (St. Louis) and G Reggie Wells (Arizona) are visiting One Bills Drive today.
  2. And that is the one thing wrong with the NFL. It gives a major advantage to the richest teams.
  3. Exactly! And as of right now, it looks like Tennesee is going to get a hell of a player unless Marv swoops in today.
  4. Damn. Come on Marv. Bring him in.
  5. But they made him the highest paid Safety in the league.
  6. they are, but the list underneath them was even worse.
  7. This is insane. Ralph was right, this new deal without revenue sharing is just going to make the Dan Synder's just want to spend even MORE. New Redskins players as of 3/13/06... - WR Brandon Lloyd - WR/PR Antwaan Randle El - TE Christian Fauria - S Adam Archuletta - LB/DL Andre Carter And this is a team that was supposed to be in Cap Hell this year. No wonder Synder wanted to get a new deal done and fast.
  8. I was bored, so I was checking out the FA tracker on ESPN and noticed that what was a somewhat deep WR group has pretty much emptied out. Unless Marv Levy has David Givens or Nate Burleson in here today, it's looking more and more like Eric Moulds is going to stay. Check this out... Koren Robinson, Antwaan Randle El, Brandon Lloyd, Issac Bruce, Antonio Bryant, Joe Jurevicious, Corey Bradford, Andre Davis, Brian Finneran, Kelley Washington are ALL GONE! All that is left is David Givens (he's the one guy I want the most), Nate Burleson (RFA), Kevin Curtis (RFA), Reche Caldwell (I'd take him in Buffalo), Jabar Gaffney, Shaun McDonald, Peter Warrick, Rod Gardner (I'd take him in Buffalo too, he's a big guy), Troy Brown, Quincy Morgan, Az Hakim, Peerless Price, Josh Reed, Eddie Drummond, Troy Edwards, Ike Hilliard, Dez White, Antonio Chatman, Johnnie Morton, and some more bums. http://proxy.espn.go.com/nfl/fa?positionId=1
  9. We wouldn't go after him anyways. We got our smaller DT, now we need the fat run stopper.
  10. If we are signing Royal...I'd feel much better if the other two guys came at the same time.
  11. You can take both jp-era and ICE back if you want em.
  12. Then the next question is.... Would you give up the Buffalo Sabres to keep the Buffalo Bills permanently in Buffalo? Because if Golisano buys the Bills, I guarantee that he will have to sell the Sabres.
  13. If you didn't see the new one yet...check it out here.... http://www.bangcartoon.com/popupCartoon.ph...e/wonderlic.swf
  14. Good post! He's the biggest reason why the NFL needs revenue sharing badly and why they need to start going deeper into revenue sharing.
  15. It's about Ricky and his buddy Jimmy. http://www.bangcartoon.com/popupCartoon.ph...chive/ricky.swf
  16. Second String wasn't awful. The Buffalo Bills won the Super Bowl.

  18. As expected, the Raiders waived three veteran players on Thursday, gaining about $8.709 million in salary cap relief. Cut loose were starting nose tackle Ted Washington, who turns 38 next month, starting guard Ron Stone, 34, who has been slowed by chronic knee problems, and underperforming cornerback Denard Walker, 32, whom the team once projected as a possible starter but became little more than a high-priced special teams player the past two seasons. The three roster moves, combined with a decision last week not to pick up the 2006 option for injury prone safety Derrick Gibson ($9.937 in cap savings) currently put the team about $12 million over what could be a low-end cap figure of $94.5 million. http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c...SPG8CHHDO84.DTL
  19. I agree, but I'd add Terrence McGee and a healthy Takeo Spikes to that list. Maybe even Willis McGahee too.
  20. Veteran receiver Eric Moulds' future with the Buffalo Bills became more uncertain Thursday after he rejected the team's second request this week to take a pay cut. "This thing is going nowhere," Moulds' personal adviser, Greg Johnson, told The Associated Press after he and the player's agent, Harry Henderson, held talks with the Bills. "The dollars they're presenting at this particular time are much too low. We're way too far apart to have an intelligent conversation anymore." Although Johnson expects the Bills to release Moulds, a move that would save the team about $5.5 million in salary cap space, he's not sure when that would happen. "I think they're going to cut him, but not any time soon," Johnson said. The Bills were not immediately available for comment. General manager Marv Levy has previously said he is interested in retaining Moulds, a 10-year veteran and Buffalo's senior player who ranks second on the team in several career receiving categories. Moulds rejected the team's initial request to accept a pay cut on Monday. Although he didn't provide monetary details of the negotiations, Johnson said the Bills haven't budged from their stance that Moulds accept what he called a significant pay cut. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/foot...ills.moulds.ap/
  21. Falcons | Team adjusts money due to Vick, opens salary cap room Thu, 2 Mar 2006 10:25:42 -0800 ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Atlanta Falcons have guaranteed a $7 million roster bonus due to QB Michael Vick. The move creates about $5.25 million in additional room under the salary cap. The team basically turned his roster bonus into a signing bonus, which allows them to prorate it over the remainder of the contract. Falcons | B. Smith to be released Thu, 2 Mar 2006 10:24:55 -0800 ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Atlanta Falcons will release veteran DE Brady Smith, which will save them $2.5 million against the salary cap.
