WITH the increase of pass rushers many teams have equal talent coming off both sides from the DE s ,,J Matthews played right tackle till his last year i think, nowadays both tackles need to be top shelf more than in the past

WHILE its easy to say who worth what from a fans standpoint. the reality is make when you can because careers are short.
that being said ,how do you make cap friendly?
how about 8 million + incentives ? if he gets 10+sacks 1 million bonus, if the d ranks in top 3 250k, if the bills make playoffs 250k, if the get to title games 150k,.etc etc... .its doable if its structured right,
the other part is EGO , if J . ALLEN is willing to accept the structure. or is he all wind at this point ,and not willing to back up his demands on the field .
MY OPINION IS SIMPLE ..ID try like heck to sign him and wilfolk, ,,that would be a d-line on paper that'd be scarey' ,,,

IT seems to me everyone assuming that the depth chart is Lawson Hughes at DE..I believe your going to see Hughes and Lawson playing 3rd and long and 2nd and long at OLB . ,Kiko and Rivers 1-2 downs...with some sort of rotation.. As far as a DE opposite Mario , i dont think he is on roster .yet.

EVERYTHING depends on the QBs if they go as early as some say ,we are going to get a premier type player,
excluding the QB its pretty obvious who the top few are, after that it get kinda mixed as far as rating who going when.
im hoping for a run at QB
weather its MACK,WATKINS, MATTHEWS or ROBINSON we cant lose, but if the qbs, sit who knows.
things to hope for
.A.... baby davis makes his rd 1 pick someone no one exspects ,in other words ,they screw up the pick again!
B....teams fall in love with the QBS..taking MANZIEL,CARR,BRIDGEWATER and BORTLES.
C....ONE of the three DBS ..DIX , GILBERT OR DENNARD slide into the top 8..
.D...CLOWNEY SLIPS OR WE TRADE UP FOR HIM...! dare to dream..
who falls ? who knows? IM guessing we get Matthews .

I would much prefer they go after Shane Skov in the third round. He is 6-2 250, Mosley smallish and injury prone.
totally agree with you , spikes is the bridge till skov is ready to play , actually makes sense.

I WAS a barr fan ,till the combine. he is not nfl ready strenght wise , he is a coverted rb ,and while his production was good in college he isnt up to it yet,, not at 1-15 in my book.

WHILE I HAVE OPENLY said the bills need a bookend DE to play opposite mario,,im not sure peppers price tag is doable especially via trade. id of called lamar houston by now though. and his upside is better imo.

Do you mean the "tackle the guy YES but 8 yards down the field Fletcher" that played for the Washington Redskins? Look at their W/L record. He had the same issue at Buffalo. A lot of tackles but only after big gains.

the scenario that makes sense is the one coming out of st louis ..the bills trade there 1st and bryd for the rams 1st, clowney to buffalo then the rams take 2 oline with the 9 and 13 th. the rams get the safety they are desparate for and rams fix oline instantly,
i cant see it happening unless houston takes a qb,and it cant happen till draft day plus bryds contract would have to be agreed on before it can be done.
the bills would have one scary rush for sure

this year will have a unpresidented number of d-line both at de and dt .. should the bills go after either id rather see a guy like paul solai from the fins inside but my favorite de in free agency would be lamar houston from raiderland..!!mario and him as bookends , thatd be scary with our inside group,,my hope is one good de and either a olb or o line help.if we get another starter in free agency at either de or olb ,the draft will have alot more flexibilty

the guy that fits that is a STANFORD product , DE ,TRENT MURPHY plays mean and is one player I wouldn't mind here.EVEN his father says " hes pissed off all the time" especially on the field!

OK ,AT THIS POINT lets assume hes gone . next question is who is the new DC ? AND IS pettine TAKING COACHES WITH HIM? ..
I THINK THE NFL SHOULD MANDATE that all coaches hired at corodinator position be required to fulfill at least 2 years of a contract before they can move on. it creates instability to a team in a rebuilding mode. if he didnt want to be there at least 2 years ,why go there? , just a opinion,

LIKELY TARGETS ARE PLAYERS THAT ARE ON TEAMS WITH NEW COACHES ,,that being said GREG OLSEN is my top target,having another good year but will carolina pay him enough to stay,?,another ,,ORAKPO hes gotta be tired of the skins bs by now maybe he decides to go elsewhere, if there is a o line guy that is a difference maker ya gotta talk to him ,,if you want to dream, GREG HARDY ,OR MICHEAL JOHNSON, or how about JARED ALLEN ,?
BRYD ISNT going to be released ,maybe traded on draft day ..or franchised again but no way,, the bills hope to keep him .

i doubt youd get a 1 and 3 for him but i could see us packaging him with a later pick to move either up in the first or for a late first.just imagine clowney opposite mario.. or k.mack and richardson .. ,,dare to dream .lol

I would add from the west;
DE Josh Mauro 6'6" 275 Standford, was disruptive in the back field with penetration and sacks would fit well in pettine's D
ILB Jordan Zumwalt 6'4" 230 UCLA, kid is banger and would make a solid run defender and special teamer.
I REALLY LIKE THE ZUMWALT KID HES NEVER FAR FROM a tackle , and im not positive but i think hes deaf he uses signing on the field at times,and for stanford trent murphy is a stud!!
