  2. Also a good reminder of how sh------- the officiating is in the NFL
  3. How long before Stallworth pulls his hamstring?
  4. Least- Bledsoe & Flutie. Most: Kelly, Thurman & Talley
  5. Hey, if they win tomorrow against ND, I think a 7 seed is very possible.
  6. McPartland's (sp?) - it's on the corner of South Union and Wehrle. About a 12-15 minute drive from UB
  7. by the Titans, in order to avoid an $8.3 million roster bonus, as per WGR. Hmmm.......
  8. I know...I was referring to the end of the regular season last year - we lost to Depaul by like 40....my most embarrassing moment as an SU alum. I meant that if SU avoids a horrendous loss like in the Depaul game last year, I think they're in, regardless of what they do vs. Nova and in the BET
  9. I think they're in now, barring a loss to Nova in the season finale AND a really bad loss (like vs. Depaul last year) in the first round of the Big East Tournament (St. John's is the likely opponent)
  10. Cuse is in the house! Down go the Hoyas!!!! Loving the fact that the SU-GTown rivalry is on its way back, but I'm loving the fact that SU has won the last 2 meetings even more. No matter what that assbag Doug Gottlieb says, we're in the NCAAs after this win.
  11. they gave manning the "lifetime achievement" MVP
  12. also to Buffalo natives Josh Thomas and Keith O'Neil. Honorable mention to SU alums Marvin Harrison, Dwight Freeney and Ryan LaCasse. Thomas is also an SU guy.
  13. I can't really think of another standout....
  14. Well deserved honor for the best all-around RBs of the 90s.
  15. I'm absolutely speechless. What a choke job....
  16. John Clayton said that Samuel and the Pats are not at all close to agreeing on a long-term deal. He went on to wy that perhaps the only way for the Pats to retain Samuel would be to franchise him. Clayton also noted that if Samuel's "Get Paid" tatoo was any indication, he wouldn't be giving NE any sort of hometown discount.
  17. Heard on the radio last night that Grimm was actually offered the Steelers job and accepted, but the NFL intervened - league officials met with the Rooneys and strongly urged them to hire a minority candidate, as it would give the appearance that the Rooney Rule is an artificial construct. This article says that Grimm was never offered the job: http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburgh...s/s_490020.html
  18. Maybe Boomer and Shannon Sharpe are jealous as well....
  19. Yeah, no way in hell did he say it "ten times". One of the most awkward, uncomfortable interviews I've ever seen. I believe that the Shannon Sharpe audibly chuckled after the interview was mercifully ended. The irony of Pats fans complaining about not getting calls (the PI on Hayden is about the only call I can see them whining about) is too much....
  20. he really is a Grade-A douchebag, isn't he?
