  1. Man I really like Robert Royal, for anyone that seen the game Sunday against New England would have seen Royal pumping the guys up on the field when they were down. Not only is he a leader on the field, hes making some plays also. I really hope hes gets the ball more. He made some tough grabs last Sunday. I think hes a play maker for this team and a guy JP can really depend on.

But, like I said, hes becoming a favorite player of mine. I hope he sticks around for a while, to me, its really looks like hes having alot of fun out there and truely wants to be here in Buffalo.

Your thoughts on Royal? I hope they are like mine.......if not explain why....

    Thanks!

  2. I had very low expectations coming in (I was thinking matching last year's record would be an accomplishment), and was temporarily encouraged by the Minnesota win.  My expectations fell back to 5, maybe 6 wins, about twenty-two minutes into the Bears game...

See with me, before the season i thought we had a team that could possibly be a game or 2 out of the wildcard spot, but now.....its just a total mess.

6 wins, wont happen, id be shocked if it did. Remember, we have 9 games left, and still play Indy, SD, Jags, Baltimore, all those teams have decent defenses. We couldnt get anything moving against a terrible injury depleated Detroit Lions team...with the way Buffalo is playing, they wont beat those teams. I also dont think they can beat the Texans on the road nor the Jets.....

I dont see this team winning more then 2 more games.....I just dont. If they can come out and manhandle the Packers I mean, put up 30 plus and pound the ball and have a decent showing of defense then my tone might change. But if Buffalo struggles against GB's Defense then this team is in serious trouble!

  3. can you do us all a favor and please define this exactly...that just seems to be an amorphous statement....we all need to see what exactly he needs to do...and does he only need to do it once? <_<

With all due respect to Losman and his bad game........

Peyton Manning had a dreadful game against a terrible Titans defense!

Point being all QB have bad days, JP just had one against the NFL's best team and the NFL's toughest defense! However I did see Losman make some nice throws to his WR's along with the bad decisions! But I also seen some dropped balls that should have been caught....

  4. We completely got our asses kicked by Chicago, no doubt.  But even the great Bills teams of the past had bad days on the road (Pittsburgh, KC, etc).  This team had exceeded my expectations the first four games of the year, let's see how they bounce back against the Lions before making any rash judgements.  I still think they are on the right track but will be watching the game this week with a much more critical eye after that debacle yesterday.

I feel the same way too, just frustrated more then anything.

If Buffalo can bounce back and beat Detroit, I will feel good for the team!

But they clearly need to work on a few things. for the most part the OL did a exceptable job against Chicago's DL....

I think execution is something this team lacks! You watch other teams run screen passes they sell it so well they get 20 yards on it, we do it and get 3 yards......

IMHO, execution has been fairly poor as of late!

  5. The biggest problem with the OL last year and to an extent this year is the amount of penalties they accrued inside the Red Zone, which forced us to kick field goals

or be out of FG range...Though this problem has reduced this season, it is still plaguing this offense.

    Yeah it is too......

i think they will cut down on them when they get settled down with the offense.....

I have noticed that Losman has a great nack at getting the DL to jump!

  6. I think that Chicago is ripe for the picking.....

Their schedule hasn't exactly been difficult so far.....Seattle isn't the same without Alexander.....and we dominated our only common opponent between us

They ARE the better team right now.....but if they think they are so much better that all they have to do is show up.....they are going to get kicked in the teeth.

We need to play flawless......and they need to make a few mistakes.....but we CAN win.

    I agree 110%.........

  7. Here is what I want to see with our OL..........

Have the Bills winning a game in the 4th quarter by 10 and really establish the running game and just run the ball down the other teams throats. I mean just totally take over the game!

Like with Minnesota, they should have never had 1 shot at winning the game. If Buffalos line was a little better, we are not holding our breathe when the ball was thrown to Marcus Robinson....A good OL smells blood and goes for the kill, something Buffalo dont quite have yet!

  8. any team can beat any team any given sunday!

We dont play the games within the media we play them on the football field.

Any great team has a bad game.

I compare this game to the Cincy game last year....we all thought Buffalo was in serious trouble with the likes of Palmer, Johnson & Johnson, TJ H-14.......what happen that game? Buffalo made them look silly that Sunday! Terrence Mcgee beat them.....

    Point being, anything can happen!

  9. I look at a couple things........

They have the leagues leading rusher with McGahee, thats gives them and attitude for more production.

Look at JP's QB rating this year, its been very good! Hes by far played alot better then last year.

Its just the 4th game all year, they are only going to get better as long as they stay healthy, they stay healthy they get better!

The OL is 10 times better then last year, but I think alot of credit should be given to Steve Fairchild, he has designed this offense around its strength!
