1. Losman to Price in the Texans game! That was the game that let everyone know JP is the future of this franchise.

Although there have been many great plays this year!

Evans had a few, the 2 83 yard TD's, the 77 Yard TD against the Jets. Would have had another if Royal knows where he is on the field last week.

Parrish, hes had some also....Week 3 against the Jets his 55 yard TD, his returns against the Jags, and his TD against Detroit!

Fletcher had 2 very nice INT's that went for TD's.

McGee had a nice fumble recovery and took it 60 yards for a TD.

Clements also had a nice INT against the Jets that went for a TD.

Look like there are several things to be excited about next year after all huh guys?

  2. From what I have been hearing is that GB wont be able to afford Al Harris the CB from GB, hes a lockdown corner and Id have complete faith in him if GB let him go and we couldnt afford Clements.....Harris would be a huge addition even if we kept Nate, he could take over for Thomas.......

  3. Remember though, Whitner and Simpson were rookies learning the NFL game right from the get go.....the college speed and NFL speed of the game are way different. I have a feeling these 2 kids will have a great 2007 season, atleast we have 2 guys we have complete faith in.

to be honest I didnt see many plays go beyond the safeties deep....they did well keeping plays in front of them!

  4. 2 points  New England 9/10

    3 points  Detroit 10/15

    1 point    Indianapolis 11/12

    3 points    San Diego 12/3

    1 point    Tennessee 12/24

Buffalo lost five games by a FG or less. IF they can address some key positions and better themselves for 2007, things could be very bright.

I just got off the phone with the Bills ticket office to make sure I am on their list in case things work out that I get season tix for next year.

The hardest thing for me is saying once again, "wait until next year". I have been saying this since 1967.

I did enjoy a good part of this season, and I guess can be optimistic or I can find another team.

Ive said it once I will say it again..........

This team was 5 plays away from fighting for homefield advantage for the playoffs this year. Just bothers me how people are complaining about that. Trust me I want to see a winner more then anyone around here, but from what I seen last year with this team to this years team, ive seen a MAJOR turnaround.

When the experts are asked what teams to lookout for next year, mark my words the Buffalo Bills will be one of those teams.

This team is 5 players away from being a very good football team!

I dont have many complaints about the season, I said 7-9 would be big for this team before the season began and I stick by what I said.....granted we are 7-8, but on the other hand we could be 11-4......

This team has found out how to win on the road! Its coming along!

  5. with all due respect before the Titans won the game he said as long as Vince Young is on the field they can win the game and they have the upper hand with the big play capabilities, and it turned out Tasker was true.

Dont hate on a guy when he speaks the truth. Trust me I got sick of it aswell, but face the facts Tasker was right!

Hes not a homer, thats why you dont like him! He tells it how it is when it comes to the bills like it or not!

  6. 1. PAY NATE

    2. PAY LONDON

    3. sign a strong run stuffing DT

    4. sign a strong run blocking G

    5. sign a tall #2 WR

    6. Draft a DT&T early, then a strong RB late day 1 or early day 2, use the rest of the draft for depth

    878429

I can agree with this. However thats the big deal with a Tall WR? Id love to see the Bills draft Dwayne Jarret from USC, chances are Calvin Johnson is gone top 5 if he comes out of college. Id rather see a young WR grow with Lee Evans. Someone thats explosive like him aswell.

But paying Nate & London you couldnt be more right. Its going to demand money, money that we should have. If we dont sign them, then in my mind its a huge loss to this defense and its a huge sign of whats coming for the Buffalo Bills future.

I think if they just let London & Clements walk, I think the fan base takes a walk aswell, we cant continue NOT paying good players to stay. Nate & London are a HUGE peice of the puzzle of what has been built here now! We cant afford to let either one leave. If we can retain both, id love to see a BIG DT thats nasty and demands double teams, that way Tripplett gets man to man blocking and can use his speed.

We are not that far way from being a good team, we are a few players way at most. Id say we are atleast 5 players away from being a very good team. 2 DL, 2 OL, and a WR......If we dont retain Nate and Fletch, then this team is far far away from doing anything! I also think if they retain both guys, other big name guys will want to follow! Shows FA's a teams making a strong effort to win.

If Nate and Fletch leave that tells FA's a teams making a strong case at being cheap and just satisfied with what they have.......

But thats just me, I really do think if Buffalo signs Nate & Fletch, I think 1 or 2 big name FA's will visit and possibly play for Buffalo next year!

  7. Lindells kick would have been almost a 40 yarder!

Bironas has a way stronger leg then Lindell, Bironas also kicked a 60 yarder, something Lindell cant do!

That field goal Bironas kicked from about 24 yards out barely made it, noways Lindells kick makes the endzone. Ive seen my fair of games in my life to know that kick would have never made it.

If anything we should have burned a TO, and made a better play call on that 4th down play! And it would have been a screen pass to Parrish, someone who can get those YAC yards.....

  8. Once again,it would appear we  will have one of the toughest schedules.

Much like this year. Did anybody in the league have tougher schedule than us this season?

    878307

    I dont think they did!

However, noone can tell how good teams are a year before we play them. For all we know the Browns could be a force to wreckon with come next year....

Its the NFL, every game is tough to win! Just have to suck it up and play ball. We have the team to win these games!

  9. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/big...nd20raiders.jpg

I like Lindell a lot, but "coward" is the word that comes to mind.

    878067

That fieldgoal that Vinateri hit was not a very long field goal. Lindells would have been around 40 yards away.

Bironas who has a way stronger leg then Lindell barely made a 24 yarder.....

Id rather have a kicker be honest then a kicker to lie and totally miss the field goal by 10 yards cause trust that ball would have never made the endzone if Lindell kicked it

  10. Yeah this loss might be tough to swallow for now, but the reality was from the beginning of the season, the Bills weren't going to make the playoffs.  This was a rebuilding year.  Testing to see who was good on our team and to see who were the players that would not help this team in the future.

There were many positives I see this year even though we didn't make the playoffs again.  Jp has finally come around at the last possible second and proved many people, like me, wrong that he's the Qb of the future.  He making better decisions with his passes and he beginning to mold into a great QB.  Another postive was that the offensive line has improved, especially during the later part in the season.  Terrence Pennington has improved and shows that even a rookie can play well on this offensive line.  Jason Peters has shown us that the he can play any position on the offensive line.  The defense should also be given credit.  Clements has shown that he must be resigned by the Bills.  Whitner and Simpson have showed us the rookies are sometimes better at their positions than veteran players.  Finally the coaching staff should be given a lot of credit including Marv Levy.  Bobby April is an unbelievable coach.  I'm seeing a huge raise for him and a major contract extension.  Also, Jauron has turn this team around and has given the fans of Buffalo something to look forward to next year.  He's shown that the Bills are contenders for the playoffs and we will be a playoff team next year.

    Questions the offseason:

McGahee - What will happen to him in the offseason.  Will he be traded for a draft pick or lineman.

Clements - Easy.  Will he be resigned.

Defensive line - Mainly at defensive tackle.  We need another Sam Adams or Pat Williams there.

Offensive line - One thing I see.  Will Gandy finally be released.

The future looks bright for this team finally.  Just keep BILLieving.

Great post man! I couldnt agree more! This team is 7-8 right now but with a handfull of plays their season is totally different! This team is night and day when it come to this years and last years team!

Last years team didnt know how to win on the road....this year Buffalo should have won 6 games on the road! Week 1 against the Pats, the Detroit game and the Colts game!

This team is by far a better team, and for anyone to be upset about it, tells me one thing.....they dont know Bills football!

  11. What's the prevailing feeling among you tards?

I think the Defense is actually WORSE than the offense. No tackling. Poor schemes. Lack of LB talent.

Considering all the picks Marv wasted on the D, it sure doesn't look much better.

What a sickening loss that was. Yet again, everything's falling into place and the team chokes like Paris Hilton after a night of coke-induced whoring.

    878008

Well, its clear you are devistated by this loss. As I am upset about it aswell, I have to look at the positives this year. We lost 5 games by 3 points or less. This team is 7-8 and with a handfull of plays we are fighting for homefield advantage for the playoffs.

I do think the defense needs to get better. That I do agree on. The run D clearly has to get better. Thats what it all boils down to. If the run D was better overall, the team would be alot better overall!

First and foremost, keep Nate Clements, pay him the money he deserves. Dont cut him loose cause if we do, we are starting all over again! Keep Fletcher, get a BIG defensive tackle that demands a double team......

This team is not that far away from being a very good team. Granted we are behind the Pats and Jets again, however, trust me when I say we were alot closer then you think we were!

Keep your head up, im disapointed aswell, but this team is alot better then last years team!

  12. I think you meant Week 3 against the Jets. They beat Miami in Week 2.

It really doesn't matter what we think....whether or not one play could have given them an extra win doesn't matter. Generally, in games where they didn't deserve to win (see: Detroit), they would have never gotten that "one play".

Still, this is a different team than the one we watched go 2-5. JP isn't making mistakes, he has some more freedom, the OL is protecting him better (not outstanding, but better), and the defense is stepping up and making stops when they need to. They still can't be considered a playoff team, since they're 1-2 in games against legit playoff teams, but they have confidence and they're buying into the coaches' systems. No matter what type of talent you have, that usually translates into wins.

As for next year, I think they would only NOT continue this success if they lose a player or two or run into a rash of injuries. As long as Jauron, Fairchild, and Fewell keep running a system around the personnel, they'll be in good shape.

DUH........I did mean Jets.......I was even at that game! LOL, sorry about that
