and clevland and seatle r a crap shoot? i think w w stay pat with a left tackle and go l after a qb in the later rounds.
This is funny. A lot of posters have been upset that the bills win too many names to get the hot franchise rookie QB. Now when it looks like maybe we can due to trades and signings, it's let's get a LT instead. they are both big needs. but a QB is more important in the grand scheme of things. If Clausen is there, which I doubt, snatch him up fast.
-
As I've said along, Clausen will be long gone by the time we pick at 8. Redskins could still take him. they only have McNabb for 1 year unless they can get him to resign. Clowns could still take him. Let him ride the pine a bit. Seattle might still take him. Do you really think Pete Carroll wants to put all his eggs in the basket of a guy who hasnt' thrown a pass in 5 years? They need someone for the future too. Oakland needs a QB too. If Clausen is a mad bomber, Al loves those guys.
If he's there though, snatch him up quick.

Let's see, last Bills coach with a winning record... Wade?

Colt may have gone to RJ's QB school or whatever, but he was mentored by SB MVP HOF QB, Roger Staubach.

Roger thinks he's good and ready to go. Works for me. If the Bills take him round 2 on, I'm cool with it.

But name one HC who went 10 years between top jobs, let alone a guy who has success that far apart?

If Clausen is there at 9, take him in a heartbeat. If I'm running the Bills draft, whoever drafts at 10 better be ready because we only take like 10 seconds to get our pick up to Goodel. Only problem is, he'll be long gone by the time we draft.

Where was ML?
-
One thing I know about this is if we had continued to feed ML druring that Toronto Jets games we could have gotten a different outcome. Our offense was sputtering. But then once we took over late in the first half I think it was. We put together a 60 yard or so TD driver with ML getting 3 or 4 carries for about 45 of those yards capping it with a 25 yard run for a TD or something like that. Then he didn't get hardly any if any carries after that. I understand he was in the dog house and Fred was our man, etc. But come on, the guy was got. Feed him.
-
Even though, Vick is not the citizen of the year. I think he served his time and should be given the opportunity to start his life over.
He has. With the Eagles. Let him stay there. He got a much better second chance than do most guys coming out of the big house. I don't get this "he deserves a second chance" stuff. Doesn't Philly count?

The Canadians are in love with Tebow?
No, they're in love with Hamdan. Can't say as I blame 'em.
-
The only reason we won 6 games is because as bad as we are, there are some teams out there that are even worse. yay us!
The epitome of Bills fan pessimism. You're a glass is half empty person, right?

My bad I meant to say troy there. Now I gotta go back and edit. lol
Seems like it. Only highlights I've been able to dig up all show him in shotgun.
-
I'm pretty sure CMU runs primarily a spread IIRC, but there was some plays under center as well.
Right. But I was wondering about Troy.
-
Just look at my avatar. I was hoping the Bills draft this kid months ago. He is a true gunslinger.
I was very impressed with Bad, Bad, Levi Brown when I saw him in that Bowl game vs. CMU. I'd be happy if the Bills got him. I think he could be good.
Did he operate out of the shotgun exclusively like LeFevour and Pike and Tebow? Seemed he did some under center stuff in that game, but it was a long time ago and I don't really remember
-
He tortured, dismembered and electrocuted dogs. He's a POS. NO EFFING THANKS!
He also infected a woman with herpes knowingly (allegedly, case settled), lied to the commish (about dog fighting), and tried to smuggle pot into the airport. He's a lifetime suspension waiting to happen.
If not for all this I'd love to have him on the Bills because, unlike some, I think he can play. But I don't want to put my eggs in that basket.
I believe in 2nd chances. But I don't necessarily think the Bills should be responsible to give it to him. Philly did. They can keep him. Evidently not too many other teams are interested in him either.
Sad story, but I want no part of it.

The latest development on this story is that Big Ben was there with friends who guarded the door to bathroom while Big Ben and the alleged victim were in there having a private moment.
-
I thought Levi Brown looked really good in that Bowl game vs LeFevour. I'd take him.
-
Don't worry. By the time the Bills draft, he'll be long gone ...

Looks like Rose Mary Woods is at it again!

That's stats. Watching the game, Robinson looked most like a future NFL QB. Lefevour, I will admit, looked next best, but mainly because he's a gamer against that level of competition. You could see his arm was not an NFL arm.
That's what meant about the stats too. When I was watching the game, I thought he looked the best. Yeah he threw a pick and Lefevour didn't, but so what? Robinson looked like a real NFL QB. Lefevour did too, but just no quite as good.
-
NFL Network is reporting Lambs have offered 2nd round pick and a safety and the deal may be done by today or tomorrow. We should be able to top this.
-
Did you watch the Senior Bowl? Zac Robinson was clearly the best QB that day.
You beat me to it. Zac had the best day for sure, unless you want to slice and dice statistics to death.

Not sure who that is, but "Downtown" Levi Brown was Guard on the Seattle SuperSonics Championshiip team.
