i don't know if it's his responsibility, but the ref standing not 3 yards from the play didn't even throw a flag on the hit, and he had the best view. what a horrible call.
-
Agreed, and that penalty on him was BS. I hope he keeps making that play. I'll take that penalty, IF the league is going to have to call it.
I'll also take Barnett's 15 yarder for slamming Welker down, every time.
I'll never get mad about hitting too hard and playing too intensely.
That was woodhead that he bodyslammed, but yeah, I agree.
I was going to start a thread on Byrd and his tackling... looks like I was beaten. Yes, he is markedly improved in this department.
-
listening to that one guy in that patriots' thread whine about the fans is hilarious.
swap the quarterbacks, swap the venue, and add in a ****ty boston accent, and you've got the same thing.

I could not agree more. These are all tough to choose from, but McKelvin's INT was big.
He blanketed Welker on that play, which was a rare sight from any of our DB's today, and just snatched the ball. Leodis' INT set up the 2nd half for the Bills.
Of course George Wilson's INT was big as well and read beautifully.
Bryan Scott's concentration on his INT was great, as it helped us get a few more points before halftime.
Drayton Florence's INT is the sexiest because of the TD, but you have to give an assist to Dareus for getting his head up.
except that mckelvin was covering ochocinco on his interception...

i think it's freddie's gait that is very deceiving ... he's so smooth that it looks like he's not really trying.
-
Rest assured. This one's in the books, we circled the wagons once again! I was relieved when the TD wasn't allowed and then nervous as hell about the FG being blocked or missed. Years of conditioning will do that to you.
:yeahthat: i was half-expecting us to fumble the snap and the pats to pick it up and return it for a TD.

There were some holds on Merriman that were horribly missed.
But yeah, we need to generate a pass rush.
agreed. one really, really bad one was w/ matt light on him... brady would have been sacked if light didn't hold him. incidentally enough, there wasn't a flag and brady got like a 30 yard pass to gronkowski. merriman hasn't really been getting the calls he should this year.

i watched the ESPN Bill Belichick documentary.
-
I am surprised BB didn't let them waltz in... It was their only chance besides an improbable missed or blocked chip shot.
weren't you watching? they TRIED to do that on the first kneeldown. fitz saw that, and stood around for a little bit before kneeling down when the patriots noticed he was still standing and started pushing the line.
-
i didn't doubt we were going to score at any point in that drive ... and yes, i was mad because i thought we left brady & co way too much time on the clock to drive downfield.
-
whatever. to me it was a stupid play that gained nothing over wood moving over to him and hitting up high normally.
-
That was a BS chop block call. Wood cut him and he was not engaged = leagal.
That was one of the worst officiated games (both ways) I have seen in a while.
Kelsay, who I dont like, should have drawn 4+ holding calls on their rookie tackle Solder. On some very big downs too. We are talking tackled to the ground and rump ranger/bear hug style holdings that were missed.
bad call as it may have been, there was absolutely no reason for wood to chop that guy. he wasn't getting to fitz.

hahahahahha moorman jumped ON Lindell's head.
-
!@#$ing false start on a kneeldown are you kidding me
-
yesss jackson was tackled outside of the EZ.. we can milk the clock
-
donald jones, 5-101 so far today.
-
bryan scott is a heck of a player. asking him to cover a slot receiver is putting him in a bad situation.
-
AHAHAHAHAHAHA YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
-
hahaha this is awesome.
-
Hey a Blitz maybe we should try that.
We did. Welker caught a 20+ yard pass and aaron williams got hurt.
-
flashbacks of trent edwards there.
-
donald jones wiiide open on a play action fake... sigh.
-
This 4 man rush idea is retarded, if we are going to do that we should wide 9 like the Eagles so our guys can get up the field.
so we can get killed with draws all day? no thanks
-
You can, with a good drop-back linebacker.
brady's placement of his passes has been impeccable. throw in the fact that gronkowski is a very good receiver and he's damn near uncoverable with whoever you stick on him.

he was referring to the interception, not the drop.
