  1. pics no longer there
  2. agreed. philly did everything they could to hand him a starting DE spot, and he never could win it. the lone highlight of his career is the one play where he was blocked 20 yards downfield, then blindsided eli manning. (because who is expecting a guy to get blocked that far back?)
  3. Bentley was a BEAST before he tore his knee up... who knows how he is after the knee surgeries and the staph infection.
  4. and how many years did it take jabari greer to be anything other than a gunner on ST? I still think it's too early to pull the plug on Youboty.
  5. :yeahthat: 4th cd is the dime corner.
  6. my biggest beef w/ kelsay is that several times when he got the the qb, and had him dead to rights, he'd either be juked and miss the tackle, or he'd have the QB in his grasp and miss the sack. (the play that sticks in my mind is against jay cutler in game 1 last yr)
  7. I like what trevor pryce said: "Go ahead, wrestle each other, pull each other's facemasks, yeah, great, wonderful, have fun. Now we gotta go play the Patriots. They won 18 straight football games. The Giants won the Super Bowl. Do we really have to prove we're all men?" Pryce said. "If we can get all this out of the way now, scrapping and being undisciplined and 80 men jumping in a pile together, fine. So now we've proved I'm tough, you're tough, hooray, we're all tough. Are we a good football team? What's more important, proving you're tough or proving we're a good football team? That's how I look at it."
  8. cliff hicks was an awesome nickel/dime back (and returner?)
  9. Root against: Notre Dame Fighting Irish Duke Blue Devils New England Patriots Dallas Cowboys
  10. mouseover a link always wins over people trying to trick you into going to a crappy url.
  11. rofl. over 12 years ago, larry brown signed a 5 yr/12 mil contract, which was rich at the time. kavika mitchell signs for 5 yrs/17.5 million, which is less than a lot of starting OLBs make. the only similarity is that they both signed new contracts after winning a SB.
  12. He was great before he hurt his back .. after that, not so much. By the time he got to Washington, he was a shell of his former pre-hurt back self.
  13. archuleta has been horrible ever since he hurt his back. pass.
  14. words are marked. thank you.
  15. there was no stat manipulation on my part - i just copied and pasted what numbers were there. yes, i took into account that lee evans got knocked out trying to catch a trent edwards pass. what's your point? call me cynical, but i'm not so sure that trent edwards is the savior after him getting a touchdown pass in 3 out of 10 games.
  16. it's funny you should mention about it being easier in the 4th - trent edwards' numbers in the 4th quarter are absolutely abysmal. 4th Quarter 73 30 41.1 402 5.5 70 2 6 17 23.3 6 3 34.2 yes, folks, that's a 41.1 percent completion rate and a 34.2 qb rating. for ***** and giggles, here's loserman's: 4th Quarter 63 41 65.1 470 7.5 85 1 1 25 39.7 4 3 86.1 it's kind of funny, in regards to people and their vendetta against losman; it wasn't a throw that let lee evans go up and get the ball, it was the defense being tired.
  17. jp was sucking too .. but i dont think trent edwards won the job. to me, it looks like we still don't have a quarterback. if edwards is going to be the QB of the future, imo he needs to prove that he's the man and actually win the job.
  18. that's funny. to me it looked like he sucked, save for the games against the redskins and dolphins.
  19. please explain to me how edwards was better than jp losman last year - the numbers say otherwise.
  20. Shockey and Vernon Davis haven't really produced, but Winslow has been a monster. The past 2 years he's got 171 catches for 1981 yards (only Tony Gonzalez has more catches, it's one more catch). It's scary to think what KW2 could have been if he hadn't pulled his Evil Knievel impersonation...
  21. I'll stop being a Bills fan if we sign culpepper. I hate that guy.
  22. not to mention we could use 2 returners for punts, making people either a. kick it to our excellent returners or b. kick it out of bounds.
  23. and imo the reason why lesser receivers got open on him is because his technique is so raw. he has the tools, just needs refinement. you think he sucks, i dont. ok, gotcha
  24. who are the bucs corners? brian kelly left via FA and Ronde Barber is nearing the end. Philip Buchanon is a decent nickel, but that's about it. This is a move out of need for TB - Buffalo isn't as lacking in CB as Tampa is/was. That's why the Bucs pull this trade and Buffalo doesn't.
