    And my point stands that Hackett was working with quarterbacks that needed a lot of work... Manuel and tuel , thad Lewis and bortles .. Bill's offense still scored 21 a game under those bums which is a testament

     

    Allen had a slew of professionals building him since craig bohl , the work with palmer is huge ... daboll was like a father ... McDermott was a calm figure ... David culley was a college QB , with years of coaching all over the offense

     

    And then Dorsey 

     

    He's had a slew of guys building him up for years... and the light has been clicking since year 2 ... If you're not getting better in the NFL you're regressing

     

    So yeah right now Josh needs to figure it out... And Dorsey and him need to have a long talk about the future of the offense 

    Marrone called the plays when Hackett was here, not only that but playing the Bills was just another game in that era now they are the team to beat in the AFC east like beating the Brady Pats was a Superbowl to us not long ago.

    The gameplan was solid and the game was winnable, how careless Josh was with the ball makes it almost impossible to win in this league.

    Can we talk about Gabe Davis's performance?

    So, keep all corners and both safeties close to? The plays aren't designed to air it out its designed to spread the defense Allen decides to air it out, he has options underneath he holds the ball to long and wants to make the big strike.

    Thats exactly what was being called mixed in with some runs, was working great until Josh decided to heave it down field into coverage, Josh refuses to play smart football.

    Josh needs to be under center more and not in the shotgun, keep his eyes on the defense and not have to watch the snap first. 3 step drop and get rid of it. utilize play action would also help freeze defenders. If he's in the gun continually the D lineman are going straight rush all the time. waiting for the ball to be snapped over a second is wasted waiting for the ball to get to his hands and for him to set his feet. The offensive lines job is to give him 3 seconds to make a decision, teamwise everyone played well enough to win the game other than Josh. I keep reading how josh has no confidence in his line, why should the line have confidence in him? Do you want to block a Quinnen Williams for 4 quarters for a guy that is so careless with the football? The finger pointing and TBD and Mafia whipping boy should begin and end with Allen he needs to mature as a QB.
