  1. Whittle our OL player Whittle is starting at fullback?
  2. What a weird game. I think the Jets should be able to hold and win though, they're up by 13 and are driving down the field to give them a 2 possession+ lead.
  3. It said on Holts description on yahoo fantasy that when Bulger got benched Holt personally apologized to him for the receivers because they weren't making enough plays. I guess it just shows how the Qb is always to blame.
  4. Yeah, chances are Bulger will have to come in and play for Green anyways.
  5. Didn't JP engineer two last second wins against the texans and Jags in 2006? Also, the 2008 Chargers remind me of the 2004 Bills, considering their first two games of the season.
  6. Glad the Refs made the RIGHT decision on that one
  7. That's true, but that was also on a blitz. How are they doing when it's just the front 4?
  8. I just started watching...has our back up D-Line be able to generate ANY pressure on the QB?
  9. Can anyone see what all of our players are graded according to ESPN? I'm surprised that only Peters is graded higher than a solid starter.
  10. I'd accept it, since it means that are team is going in the right direction.
  11. I agree. Sure he could get injured, but I'd feel better having him played against another team a week before the season, as oppose to him not playing in a game for 2 weeks prior the Seattle game.
  12. Okay, well then RB does look stronger especially with AP. I'm using the same strategy with my Def and K in my league as well especially since some defenses/kickers who weren't good last year will become great options this year and can be picked up as a free agent.
  13. Looks pretty solid. RB might be the weakest position but your receivers will definitely help carry your team. As much as I love all the Bills, Lindell isn't usually a particularly good fantasy option.
  14. Okay this league has a weird format with: 2 QB's 1 RB 2 WR 2 W/R (receiver or running back) 1 TE 1 K 1 DEF And my team is: Qb's: Tom Brady Jason Campbell Trent Edwards Chad Pennington Rb's: Jamal Lewis Thomas Jones Edgerrin James Fred Taylor Wr's: Terrell Owens Torry Holt Marvin Harrison Derrick Mason Ted Ginn Jr. Te's: Heath Miller K: Robbie Gould Def: Buffalo I figure I can drop Ginn or Pennington during a bye week to replace my TE, K, or Def.
  15. Wow! Go Bills
  16. Darn, he was a second away from getting another sack.
  17. A lot to look forward to this coming season.
  18. They are looking good. Nice job by Poz stopping the scramble and Kelsay and Stroud really stopped the screen play.
  19. Losman isn't looking bad at all. This makes me feel better about our 2 QB's
  20. Kurt Warner is extremely underrated, and being worse than Kurt Warner isn't a bad thing. As for Leinart....this goes similar to the JP arguments, but let's remember he plays on a line with Mike (Turnstile) Gandy and has what, 1 year of Actual playing experience? Also, come out and admit it, which of you guys posted in the "Matt Leinart has it" thread way back when? Claiming how great of a QB he'd be by now?
  21. The Bills will manage and you're right the Bills were terrible with their offense last year and without Jason we won't get any worse. The thing is, Football is such a team game, that with Peters our offense will/could get ALOT better than it will, if it does at all without him. The way Stroud makes our DL better is that because he is so good it will take the pressure off Schobel and Kelsay our next best DL players. With Peters it's similar. With him the rest of the line can worry about other areas because he is such a good player he takes pressure off Dockery and Folwer.
  22. I think you underestimate just how important and good Peters is to the success of our team, versus any of our alternatives. It would seem you believe the Bills can function at a playoff level without him. I think Peters is the most important player on the Bills team and without him we will not make it to the playoffs this year.
  23. Time for an actual legitimate post: Based on this thread I might be in the minority, but I think Kelsay is a better DE than Denney. I think Denney is stronger than Kelsay, and is a very serviceable back up who provides depth but I would say that overall Kelsay is the more complete DE. Against Pittsburgh's first string last week Kelsay was getting good pressure and would have had a sack had he not be blatantly held on the Ko Simpson caused Interception. 2007 Kelsay did not earn his contract, but if Kelsay can play like he did in 2006 than I will be at least content with his play. Kelsay seems to be able to generate pressure from time to time, it looked like Denney wasn't able to do the same against Pittsburgh's first stringers. Mind you he only got 5.5 sacks, but he got a decent amount of tackles and a lot of his tackles were for stuffs or for a TFL. Chris Brown's season awards at the end stated that 17% of Kelsay's tackles were Tackles for a loss, the highest percentage on the team. Kelsay will never be a probowl player, but he tries on every play. He has the skills to be a solid, although unspectacular player for the Bills. And he seems like the type of player the Bills will be glad to have had on their team.
  24. Should we start calling them Rosenkelsay and Guildendenney?
