    Ironic, isn't it?

Allen is #1 in the NFL with 71 consecutive starts.

Justin Herbert has 39, Trevor Lawrence and Pat Mahomes tied for 3rd at 34.

    Rodgers 4th with 25.

Take what you will from this. I want Josh to protect himself more, but I think all the fear mongering "he's about to fall off a cliff the way Cam Newton did!" is wildly overblown by the likes of National pundits like Cowherd and folks on this board.

I want Josh to be a little more careful while still letting Josh be Josh.

Never seen a worse jinx in writing. Ha

  2. Tyrod against Miami on Christmas showed me what was always possible. He just never pulled the trigger. He was worse than flutie because flutie seemed to get at least a couple first downs and glad real balls. Tyrod was probably more talented, but never pulled the trigger.

And "revere" is a big word. Reserved for legends, IMO. Tyrod was serviceable and I always thought he could have so much more.

What's the backstory on that?  I don't know all that much about Gallo but he was in that NFL Films video about the Bills called "A Town, A Team, A Dream" and my impressions of him is that he was kind of a loser/outcast type...so yeah how did he pull that off?

    Chicks dig artists.

  4. Gallo was such a douche. Did bang the hottest and nicest chick from my high school during filming, so good for him, but otherwise a whiny brat.

I don't think Buffalo is the greatest place in the world, but it has its charms and certainly builds character. But it is tough on people who need other people to say "wow, you're great!" and Gallo was certainly one of those people.

Here's the thing: most people here are sheep and worship anyone currently associated with the team like a god.

Then, when a certain person leaves the team, they usually make fun of that person and sneer about how bad they were.

    I don't get it either.

Kiko Alonso, to name one of dozens, went from highly regarded fanboy player to the butt of jokes here in about 48 hours when we traded him off the team.

    Rex is another great example.

I, and many people, were done with Rex well before he left Buffalo.

  6. Every single game that isn't a Bills blowout makes for disheartening reading on the game day thread.

However I've come to the conclusion that every fan base is a reflection of the public. Meaning 30% is loud, stupid, and irrational. Also many many experts who've watched a few YouTube videos.

Same thing if I'm at bills bar somewhere. All good when we're in control, irrational silly doom when we're not.

Bills are now 10-3 this year, whereby those 3 losses were by a combined 8 points.

By contrast, when we were 7-6, 5 combined losses by a total of only 23 points and the 6th loss to Indy where we were blown out by 26.

Bills went on to win 4 straight and march into the Playoffs as the AFCs hottest team.

This season, we've faced so much adversity between OC changes, riddled with injuries and season ending injuries and Josh's elbow that was clearly holding him back.

Somehow despite all of that, we're sitting in a better spot this year to have the road through the Playoffs run through Buffalo - and to be that vaunted #1 seed and to get the coveted first-round bye.

    4 games left. 🐬, 🐻, 🐯 and 📸.

The Bengals game will be telling.

    I'm excited.

    This is our year.

    Knock on bloody wood!
