He’s a football game announcer, not an investigative reporter (unless he puts on some disguises, which may be true).

This is a very weird thread. No sure why it’s still going. I couldn’t care less what a neuroscientist says about concussions. They are not clinicians, nor have had any contact with patients in a clinical setting. If a neurologist or a neurosurgeon pipes up, then they’ll have my attention. But this guy, just because he may have looked at some brain sections under a microscope to get grants, doesn’t pass muster as an expert.
btw, I’m a physician and would trust the word of an ICU nurse over a neuroscientist.

We need to acquire Josh Allen from the Jags so that we have a Josh Allen on both sides of the ball.
His name is no longer Josh Allen. -

Dang it! I was really hoping we could get him!
But, who’s he replacing? And is the GB guy better than Bass?Edit: Nevermind. That dude (Narveson) is worse than Bass.

See my reply to big turk a couple pages ago but re-signing Cooper to a market value contract (e.g. 18-20M AAV) will likely mean having to shed even more salary than we're already slated to or not giving out extensions, etc. Like it or not, we're still on a cap cutting trend for one more year.
Edit: and in truth, my 18-20M projection is probably low if Cooper is who we hope he'll be on this team.
But why do we have to sign him? I see this as nothing more than a rental. If he blows it up here, fantastic for us. I hope we get a Super Bowl. If we want his services beyond this year, we can choose to sign him (or not) like any other FA WR.-

Every time you buy a share of stock in a company, you buy a minority stake in that company. So, if the company makes money and the value of the share rises, you make money. Same idea generally.
So, they only make money once they sell their shares at some point in the future? Seems to me some of the profits Terry is making should go to them? And I’ll assume they have some say in how the organization is run, just like whale stockholders of corporations.21 minutes ago, K D said:Can we put them in for hail Mary situations?
Seriously, we get embarrassed by a Hail Mary once a season. Would be great to have people great at jump balls.-

I’m not a Bass apologist, but the Jets kicker wasn’t any better last night. 2 FG balls hitting the posts in a row, versus Bass’s 1 missed FG and 1 missed XP. I think it was very windy. And if it wasn’t, I don’t see the Bills winning that game. We got lucky.
PS. I don’t think the Jets made their 1st XP either.

Then why fire the HC week 5?
Woody Johnson has no idea what he's doing.
Agreed. Firing coach and trading for a top WR aren’t congruent. Either way, I see no path forward for Rodgers after this season. They’ll probably have to shed salary for Adams.-

I don’t thing GM Rodgers is close to being fired.
I’m pretty sure they are going all in this season and they’ll clean house, including Rodgers, at the end of the season. Experiment failed. -
I personally think Beane set him up this year to fail (“transition” year) to make a case for Terry. Instead, McD is falling on his own sword. Make way for Hoodie or Ben Johnson.

Can you challenge extra points?
And also, why would McD challenge something like that. He needs his timeouts to call on hail mary's to make sure his defense does nothing.
Win or lose, he should be fired.-

Need to keep the people in Vegas happy.

I’m on the fence between trading for Hill or Waddle.

Henry has owned us like little ***** for as far back as I can tell. Would’ve been horrible to have him on our side for a change.

Daboll has to go QB in 2025 draft, right?!?
I’m not sure Daboll will even be a HC in 2025.-

I don’t even know why we’re on page 4 already. Milano has zero trade value. And I’m even if he did, he wouldn’t get more than a 4th. How would that help us now?

I was going to say “no” based on him am being in charge of hiring head coaches, but I’m not so sure now. Don’t they have a “flat” hierarchy in terms of leadership, where both HC and GM report to Terry? We know he had this with Rex Ryan and Whaley. I doubt Beane could wake up one morning and go into work and fire McD, so I guess Terry is ultimately in charge.

Remember when the Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill and let a bunch of other high-priced starters walk, and then won two more Super Bowls during their “mini re-build”?
I’d give them the benefit of the doubt if they had already won one Super Bowl and needed to retool for another. But, they haven’t. They haven’t demonstrated they can win.-

Rebuilding from what? Divisional round losses? Our franchise QB being 7 years into his career and having the worst pass catching group since he had to throw to the leftover trash of the drought era his rookie year is a complete organizational failure that starts with Brandon Beane
Agree. If we’re going to buy into this “rebuild” thing, we should probably have a different HC. It’s rare for a coach to survive a rebuild; something fundamental always need to change, because why would the next 7 years be any different than the last if we’re just moving some pieces around?-

Good video, but don’t know if we need random calls. We can only wish Hoodie is on the short (1-2 guys) list of candidates when McD and Co exits the 2nd round of the playoffs.

I absolute LOVE this. Where’s him putting Rodgers into a Camel Clutch or Suplex?
