At this point if he can’t go let him rest it over the bye week at the end of the day beating KC in the regular season isn’t going to win us the SB

it also allows us to hide how we would use him against their d if we do meet in playoffs

Gives us another 5-6 games to play/practice and get a feel for him in the offense without dealing with injuries.

Instead of hiding the fact that Josh will be throwing him balls to catch, why doesn’t he get out on the field and develop some chemistry with him?

There actually are a lot of ligaments in the wrist that stabilize it and allow it to move side to side and up and down, not to mention thumb ligaments.  Then move up a bit and there are all those ligaments that allow the fingers to flex.  Now we move on to the tendons and all the little bones....

The thing is, unlike an ACL, the ligaments don't need to support the entire weight of the body, but they're still pretty critical to grip strength and motion of the hand.

False. Joe burrow tore his SL ligament. Out for the year. There can be serious injuries that will end his season even for a wrist.

Sure, there are serious wrist injuries, but they are uncommon. Burrow had 4 torn ligaments in his throwing arm. Very bad luck and not the norm. We have 4 players out with wrist injuries. They all aren’t done for the season, even with surgery. The point is, wrist injuries are not a season-ending death sentence. Here’s some recent data:

    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37994029/

The mean missed games was 2.5.

Btw, I’m not a sports med doc, but I’m a rheumatologist. I’ve seen many wrists in my career. I don’t know anything about Coleman’s wrist, but I’m not all doom and gloom about it.

If this mirrors the wait on Diggs last week, it could be bad news.

It’s not the same. While there are ligaments and tendons within the wrist, it’s not like there’s a lurking torn ACL or Achilles in there. If the x-rays are negative, he’ll be back this year.

The crazy thing is Phin fans are saying the refs should have been in bills jerseys, because they were trying to help the bills win.

I saw some bad calls both ways but those back-to-back holdings were BAD BAD. Taking points off the board for ticky-tack calls.

The rapp flag was a joke.

And the poyer flag, well... They had to throw that.

And the idea that Poyer was a "double agent" (very popular among dolphin fans)... Yeah except he broke the arm of our star in the making WR. So if he was trying to help he didn't do it very well.

It also doesn’t make sense that the PF call isn’t called at the spot of the foul. So, if a DB thinks about using their hands to prevent a catch, use you head instead. Or yank on their facemask.

Maybe the most insane trade idea I've seen on here and that's saying something

    2 players a 2nd round pick plus a swap for a 33 yo rental

Not to mention that even if the chargers lose they will be 4-4 and probably a favorite to make the playoffs

You misread it. We’re also throwing in our 1st rounder. Does this make you feel any differently?

What the heck does not wearing a guardian cap have to do with making him some kind of bad character with no redeeming qualities?  What a weird thing to say

Weird is right. Curious, where do you get “bad character”. Please tell.

Also, like I asked. What are the redeeming qualities behind a person refusing to protect themselves. You sat there are no redeeming qualities, not me. Please explain.

You dislike a guy and judge him as unredeemable because of the guardian cap?  Do you wear a leather helmet or some skull protection when driving?  Do you don chaps when using a chainsaw?  Harsh.

Yeah, because driving to the grocery market and getting tackled by 300 lbs of muscle running full speed weekly are really the same thing. But, who knows. Maybe if I’ve had 6 concussions while driving a car, I probably would wear a helmet next time. And if my nuts had multiple near misses with a chainsaw, I think I’d use much more protection than chaps. Did you really think about your response before posting?

As for disliking him? I don’t dislike him, nor do I like him. I’ve never met the guy and can only have an opinion on his actions. And not trying to decrease the likelihood of another concussion seems foolish. I don’t think anyone on here dislikes him. His body, his choice. But rather, people have a limit to their sympathy. So, when he’s carried out on a stretcher next (not if, but when), I just don’t think a lot of people are going to look at the event as a shocking injustice.

I like Tua as a person and wish him well (except against the Bills).  I’m already dreading the next time he’s concussed.  Don’t think it’s an if just a matter of when.

Out of curiosity, what exactly lead you to “like” Tua? I’m mean, compared to Tyrek, he’s probably a standup guy. But he was asked point blank whether he would wear a Guardian cap and he said “no”. What are the redeeming qualities you see in this guy?

  9. I just feel accountants are running the NFL now and not football people. I don’t watch every Bills game anymore. Ironically, the network exclusive games introduced me to this practice. I used to religiously when I was young, but there’s just too much other quality things to do than to watch this product. It’s actually been liberating.
