Yeah if it qualifies as one of the International games it's better than London or Germany.

I think the international games are to grow the games’ popularity (ie attract some deep-pocketed NFL benefactors in other countries). Haven’t we already tried this in Canada many times before. I think they have to be well aware of the NFL product by now. I don’t see the point of more Canadian games.

  2. We definitely won. 95% of NFL teams would’ve been cooked after the final Henry TD. We weren’t.

That said, despite the untimely fumble, I can’t help but dream about what sort of team this would be had we signed Henry. I think a lot of people thought he would hit the dreaded RB wall beyond the age of 30. He doesn’t look like he’s slowing down at all.

    What a weird answer.

I had to get an MRI not long ago and the results were done an reported to me in about an hour. And that was at a busy hospital.

The team takes their own MRI, with their own doctors in house and can't get the results in a week? What is this, 1965?

I get why he isn't giving info, but if they want me to believe a billion dollar franchise with in house medical staff can't get results almost on the spot....that's just insulting our intelligence.

It’s not a weird answer. McD is in no position to provide a diagnosis and prognosis. The results of the MRI are undoubtedly known. What may not be known is what it means for Tre and how the Bills are going to act. It’ll all be announced at once.

    Baylon Spector hurt

    Khalil Shakir hurt

All these injuries are becoming worrisome

    Maxwell Hairston hurt

But yeah, not participating in training camp is likely going to get him injured.

    WTF

is the NFL an old boys network or what?

Hackett is a living reason for why we have the Rooney Rule. This guy has had maybe 1-2 successful seasons in the near 20 years he’s been in the NFL, yet he keeps getting jobs.

The plan is to draft a QB in a year or 2 with key players locked up while the QB is on a rookie contract for at least 3 years.  Not a bad plan if they find the right QB, but the last time the Jets drafted the right QB was 2000 when they drafted Chad Pennington, and even then it was the same year NE drafted Tom Brady 5 rounds later.

I remember it was not too long ago the Bills had this exact same plan. I think it was during Whaley’s years (or maybe it was earlier) where we were fairly solid at many positions except for 1. It didn’t turn out too well for that front office.

Bridgewater paid for transportation, pre-game meals, and "recovery services", which I think might be for things like physical therapy.  That's certainly not "giving money to unrelated minors".   Tens of thousands of teachers in schools in poor areas across the country frequently use their own money to help out their students who otherwise would lack supplies, lunches, etc.  Should they be suspended, too?

My guess is that Bridgewater is the victim of his success.

“Hey Coach Teddy, can you give me some money to go get some  _____ or meet up with _____?”

    ”Sure, I’ll call an Uber.”

Teacher often buy school supplies for needy students. These supplies are not earmarked for certain individuals. If so, it is done above board and through official channels. And these supplies are directly needed for the curriculum. What were the Uber rides for? Where did these students go? What does it have to do with the team? You can see how this would raise questions.

Again, I’m not saying these were not done in good faith. But, and it seems like the school district agreed, there is a right way to do it and a wrong way. Adults unofficially funneling money or services to a minors is a great way to get in trouble.

it’s ultimately a case of “this guy has flags for being self centered and clueless”

this isn’t proof he will fail but it’s surely another data point in the wrong column if you are invested in his success.

to do it twice this month is likewise a data point in the does not learn from mistakes column

"I made some wrong choices personally, and I can own up to them," Sanders said, via Pro Football Talk. "I made some, you know, not great choices. … I learned."

But, he’s learned. This boy is 23 years-old and just learned that he shouldn’t go 101 in a 60.

If you cut Bosa you still have to pay pretty much his full contract. He has a $12,000,000 dead cap. How does that help anything?

It’s a really odd contract the Bills signed here. All veteran salaries are guaranteed for that year if they are on day 1 roster. Having his 1 year contact guaranteed is basically him and agent hedging their bets that he will not be healthy enough to even be on the NFL season opening roster.
