Expecting Beane to say, “We explored many options but didn’t think the price was worth it. We are confident that we will continue to have success with the players we have”.
“It takes 2 teams to make a trade””the value just wasn’t there”

With the Jags adding Meyers, I think BTJ is going to on the train out. To who???

The young man needs to learn that you don’t publicize those kinds of things
I think he’s just young and wanting to leave a verbal LAMP. He’ll learn to be more judicious with his words as he matures.-

Doubt Waddle will be traded within the division
You’re probably right, but this not trading within your division is kind of antiquated. The Dolphins are a team about to rebuild. They don’t have the same window as us. By the time they are competitive again, Waddle’s career will be on the downswing. Reminds me when Belicheck had no issue sending us Bledsoe.-

I'm playing conservative here. I'm running Josh and Jimbo.
Even if I have to punt that means the Chiefs have aboout 30 seconds needing a touchdown.
This would be back nightmares. -
Red Murdock is a fantastic LB name. Really old school sounding. Draft him based on that alone.

Absolutely. Something is wrong with Josh. Would prefer him to get over whatever his issue is before teams start game planning for Cook.

Wondering if he was a transplant candidate?
Maybe. He could’ve also been placed on dialysis. Nevertheless, people on dialysis have long list of potential complications. It sounds like one of them caught up to him. A sad situation all around. -

I think he hurt his throwing arm, which part not sure. But he doesn't have the same look or motion as before trying to just chuck it using just his upper body and thats hard with tight windows and slow developing plays.
Yep. There’s been a lot of quick side arm throws or flicks to people close by.-

I understand all of that yet at the end of the day the Giants won the super bowl versus an undefeated New England Patriots with their third receiver having less than 300 yards on the season
Josh Allen is the greatest talent I've ever seen in 35 years of playing coaching and scouting
And he has the ability to get it done when it matters.. I believe that.. we have more offensive talent than that Giants team
Which had an old plaxico burress, an old Armani tumer and their number three wide receiver one for 300 yards
And yet, we’ll likely never see him win a Super Bowl. Call me a downer at parties. A person who doesn’t own a crystal ball. Whatever. But given what we have seen from our current coaching staff, Allen will not be enough to win the big game for us. The guy can only do so much and it won’t be enough (unless he suits up to play linebacker or safety). -
My guess is he’s going injured. He hasn’t been on laying his normal self since the pats. We see this from time to time and it comes out later he had a broken hand or leg. Let’s just hope he can hobble along to salvage the season. There’s too many great teams this year not named the Chiefs or the Ravens.

Further proof Beane drafts for need, not best player available.

The problem I think Beane has with drafting is that they think too much and end up getting too cute during rounds 1-3. They probably breakdown every down played by a guy and wonder if they could’ve coached him differently to get more production and if factors XYZ would allow this. Sure, this is “next level” thinking, but sometimes you just need to go with the obvious guy who is already producing. I think this is what happens in the later rounds.

McDaniel has to be on deck now.

Cranyonz making a comeback. Shades of losing NFC games on purpose to gain a playoff advantage.

Great thoughts. I agree, losses will come. It just sucks it was a divisional loss. These are not the games we should be dropping.
-
McD used to eat inexperienced QBs for breakfast. Not sure if this is the case anymore.

It all comes down to the playoffs. We’ll see once the new year comes around. Until then, we’ll enjoy great football. And let’s hope they learn how tackle before we then.

Looks like a serious possible ligament injury here .
I get that he’s a punter. But his ligaments should be no different than anyone else on the team. Muscles hypertrophy, ligaments do not. So, why is he so fragile.-

There’s ways if masking signs if you know they are watching. Plus, talent trumps sign stealing 6/7 days a week.
