Bills vs Broncos-Monday Night Football
Low Positive replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
It might be time for Josh to learn a new playbook. Lamar is playing really well and he has a new OC with a new offense. -
Oh Oh! Now do Vrabel!

Could Josh McDaniels get our Offense in Gear?

The "Patriot Way" = Joyless football. Guys are only willing to play joyless football if they are competing for a Lombardi. -

Sammy Watkins is only 30 and sitting on his couch. Just sayin... -

Harbaugh is a retread. Hire some hot offensive coach's OC or QB coach who has never called an NFL play and give them the HC job. That's how it's done in 2023.

I would want the context. How does this compare with other QBs? I do see that the completed air yards are the lowest in his career by a bunch. That's part of his attempts to be more "efficient." -
Stuck in the mud = Coaching & Lack of Talent

Exactly. Injury luck is just as important as talent and coaching in winning a Superbowl. -

Injuries are not a part of it. The team that beat the Bills on Sunday has zero current significant injuries. KC has one. Baltimore has one. Jacksonville has zero. The teams that are currently playing well in the AFC have the fewest injuries. That is not a coincidence. -
He's not even a lovable meathead like Dan Campbell.

I know that the Bills are down right now, but I don't want to live in a world where I can't clown on the Jets.
-
He doesn't play Zach Wilson. He plays the Jets defense. Salah practically has Dorsey's playbook. He's said as much. The great mystery is why the Bills D always allows one long backbreaking TD drive to Zach Wilson. For that, I have no answer.

They're insane because the Bills lost a game that they were sure the Bills were going to lose. I was mad on Sunday night and I woke up mad on Monday morning. I wanted to disown everyone that I know who's a Bengals fan, which would have made life pretty lonely for me here in Cincinnati. But by Monday afternoon I came to grips with the fact that this team's season probably ended on that crap turf in London and intend to let the rest of this season play out. But you got dudes on her trying to trade Josh Allen for draft picks. That's insane. -

The Bills looked at Tee Martin last time. He's the QB coach in Baltimore. If the whole staff gets canned in NY, you might look at Mike Kafka. He is from Andy Reid's coaching tree. I don't think that McDermott could bring back Daboll so that's off of the table (hey that rhymes). -

That's why the Bengals are not out of the woods yet. They have to play Pittsburgh twice, the Browns, at Baltimore, and at KC. edit: They have to play at Jacksonville too. -

If you look objectively at just this year, the two best teams in the AFC are Jacksonville and Baltimore. And Baltimore's two losses were paper-thin heartbreaks to IND and PIT. -
Potential to Explore Josh Allen (QB) trades
Low Positive replied to VaMilBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
To think that Bills Mafia has lost its mind over a 6-point road loss to a team that has been to two straight AFC Championship Games. -
It was the Bears. I only remember that because a huge RFA offer to Bates is the most Bearsy thing ever.
-
The Browns too. The Bengals have bad ownership, but they never fire coaches so I think any coach would jump at that chance. It's like academic tenure for NFL coaches.

Potential to Explore Josh Allen (QB) trades

After one 6-point road loss to a good team that most TBDers predicted would steamroll the Bills, fans are melting down and drawing up trade scenarios for the franchise QB. You predicted a 34-17 Bengals win. The Bills actually scored one more point than you thought that they would, and now it's time to completely blow up the team? -

Someone yesterday was arguing that Josh Allen probably wants out of Buffalo, even though he's said or done nothing to indicate that. -
It's that the HC of an NFL team couldn't get "Zach gives us the best chance to win" out of his mouth. I'm not laughing at the Jets. I'm laughing at Salah's inability to not create national news. This was a front-page story on both ESPN and SI.com.
