Chris Hairston is a bad player. He's the reason for that bad final pass. He's gotta pick up that blitzer.
And who was the reason forthe 4 yard pass on first down? And the 2 yard pass on 2nd down? And the Interception on the prior possession?

Yes wildly inconsistent, but his inconsistency trends towards 75 QB rating games, not 120 QB rating games.

Fitz has a career QB rating of 75. Last week his QB rating was 120. By that metric, probably one of the best 5 games of his career.
Judging him based on that game is cherry picking. I'm sure we would all like to be judged based on one of our best days, but that's not how it works. You take the good with the bad, and when you mix it all together, Fitz is a hell of a lot closer to the QB in the Jets game than the one in the KC game.

He was never a first round talent to begin with...If he didn't have all that baggage he was a mid-round pick. I watched a ton of Pac-12 games and he was a big highlight reel hitter and that's about it. Just because his highlights make it onto sports center doesn't mean he's worth a damn.
Throw his personality issues into the mix and i think a late round pick is just about right.

He's big, strong, ok hands because of his huge size, not particularly fast or evasive...doesn't run sharp routes.
His ceiling is Keyshawn Johnson. Which if you look at his career stats, is not that impressive.

Hampton Inns are nice for budget rooms, but not what Marcia is looking for.
I've tried to stay at nice places, and typically walk away unhappy. All of the "nice" places are old, and wouldn't be anything but middle of the road in most cities. When your cities nicest hotel is the Embassy Suites, that's a problem for someone like the Bradys who are probably used to staying at the W, Plaza, Ritz,Omni, Westin, Oriental, etc.
It's really quite true. There are a handful of nice small boutiques, but probably below the average jock's radar screen. hell, I'VE been turned off staying at the Buffalo Hyatt, (a chain I would normally lump in with the upper-end chains I listed), and I'm not even close to rich.

Do you think a black position coach that didn't even call the teams plays would ever get a head coaching gig in the NFL? I'm just curious what this guy has accomplished in either at the college or NFL level.
I find this a pretty uninspiring hire. He will surely have his work cut out for him with the Dolphins.

I believe in Sam Bradford. I think if they draft him a few new parts on the OL, and pick up a WR in free agency, they can contend in the NFC West.

you're out of your mind...nobody would give up a first rounder for Jackson even if he was 28 instead of 31. Every year there are a handful of rookie RBs who make big splashes. it's the easiest position on the planet to find and the one with the shortest shelf life.

But I agree that Fewell looked good and I would not had been disapointed if we promoted him.

i didn't realize the "I heard of him, we need him!" mindset applied to drafting as well.
The only reason this kid is getting any sort of attention is because of the dirty plays he's been called for.
Maybe if he was fast enough for the NFL he wouldn't have to hit all those guys out of bounds...

He built a winner that fell apart when one person was lost for the season. Yes, he is mean to people, but even I know that you should not be mean to the boss, which he was in Buffalo. He is the last peron I want here.

Fitz is the best QB The Bills have had since Frank Reich.
And don't even try to bring up Drew Bledsomuchhisbrainwentnumb. The Bills were 8-8, 6-10, and 9-7 during his 3 years in the Blue, White, and Red. That's not winning anything in this league either.
That said, Frank was a hell of a backup. Starter - not so much.
So Fitz (4-12; 6-10; ???) is better than Bledsoe (8-8; 6-10; 9-7)...he needs 14 wins next season by your metric...
