No! The coaches know it was only the Texans. It's just like Rob Johnson's game against the Chiefs. At the end of the day it means very little or nothing. One Sunday against a football team that hasn't won back to back games in 2 1/2 seasons is not a reason to throw away the future of the franchise. Let's see what he does against a real team with a real defense. I forgot. We're not allowed to judge what Loseman does against good defenses. 5 Wins as a starter? None against a team over .500? That says it all.
-
Are they making the playoffs this year? NO! But if beating the Texans is your SuperBowl then I feel sorry for you.
-
Because picking 10th is better then picking 3rd in the NFL draft?
-
A win against a 3-6 Texans team? The standards are way too low. Loseman had 5 wins as a starter. 2 against the Texans.
-
And you do? Beating a 3-6 team only hurts this franchise. The INT for the TD shows more about Loseman than anything else. Throwing TD's against a bad defense who are falling over themselves? Unless the Bills are scheduled to play the Texans 16 times next season I suggest Lee Evans gets to know Brady Quinn.

I was reading J. Sullivan's article about OJ

Inorder to trade Willis you need a partner. What teams feel they are a runningback away from the playoffs or Superbowl? -

It's funny you mentioned the schedule. I can't tell you the number of posts I read that said the Bills will have a better record because of the "soft schedule" they were playing this year. I think I should search for those threads I understand the whole "growing pains" thing. I had little expectations for this team this year. I also know this is year one of a rebuilding year. What are they taking from this season and adding to next offseason? This team needs 9 new starters on the offense. And the defense is more then likely to lose Clements and Fletcher. And who knows about Spikes? His career may be over. Like I said. I did have little expectations. But I did expect the Bills to be a smarter football team. You don't need talent to be a smart player. And I don't think the coaches have always led by example. At some points this season it look like M&M was still at the helm. I also have to say that passing on Nick Mangold is as big a mistake as TD drafting Mike Williams. Not that the Bills would have a great O-Line this season. At least they would have had one piece of the puzzle in place while they find the other four. Or three is you think Peters is the real deal at tackle. -

The fact that you wrote this post confirms you can't explain the difference between the 2005 and 2006 Bills. So why don't you go sit in the corner and let the adults talk for a while. Grab yourself a pudding or something. -

And this year we have 3 out of nine. Over the final seven the Bills will face three teams that are now 3-6. Last Season they beat an 11-5 team (Cincy), a 10-6 team (KC) and a 9-7 team (Miami). This season? None of their wins (3) are against teams with winning records. And again I read things like "poised to improve" or "A coach who knows what he's doing". Please. Tell me what you are basing all of this on. The coach is 3-6 which falls right in line whith everything else he has done in the NFL. And what does "poised to inprove" mean? Shouldn''t there be some small improvement this season. I see bad play calling and dumb penalties. They continue to shuffle the O-line. These are the same things we all saw the past five years. Considering the offense was the worst in franchise history last season. They were "poised to improve" this year, where is it? No Joke. I want to see it. I hate dreading Sunday afternoons. I want to be able to enjoy Bills games again. I just can't sit there and lie to myself. I need soemthing tangible. Catch phrases and slogans don't do it for me. -

When I see posts like yours I know I'm right. All you are saying is " I Ramius have nothing to argue against what I am reading. I have no original thoughts so I will attack those who have actual opinions. I am also a proud Republican". I thought it was a simple question. Where are the 2006 Bills better than the 2005 Bills? I am shocked that with so many Levy/Loseman apologists on these message boards that nobody can come up with a legit answer. I see a lot of buzz words like "leadership and direction" thrown around. No body seems to be able to back anything up. The Bills were counting on fans being blind to the truth when the hung Levy's name on the GM door instead of searching the league for a qualified candidate. I can't believe so many of you fell for it. -

The rushing defense went from 4.5 yds per carry in 2005 compared to 4.3 this year? Passing defense gave up 205.7 yrds a game in 2005 compared to 213.2 this year? It doesn't look the defense has improved. It's looks like they are right where they were last season. -

Where? I see this posted all the time. Where are they better? Where is the "leadership & direction"? I don't base this on record. I see the same mistakes and and same dumb penalties as last season. I see coaching decisions that remind me a lot of last season. Yes. It is year one. But shouldn't there be some improvment some where? Any where? Levy spent money this offseason and he drafted pretty high. What has come from it. Whitner? Shouldn't a "rebuilding" team come away from an offseason with more then one player of note. Again I ask. Where are they better? -
"The Bills will be a better team by the coaching/GM changes alone" ? With all the great FA talent 'Super GM' Marv Levy brought in. Let's take a look. W/L PF PA 2005 4-5 142 162 2006 3-6 140 180 With M&M and TD gone how can things be worse? We now have Melvin Fowler, Peerless Price and Larry Tripplett? Is there any FA that Marv signed you would care about if they were cut today? Maybe A-Train? TD tried to sign A-Train the previous year. But A-Train went to Dallas because he thought he would get more reps.

Being a Bills fan is like being a Native American on the side of the road watching people throw trash out their windows. It brings a tear to your eye.

Three of the TD's came by the way of the defense. The Bills offense is on a 13.2 points per game pace. It's even lower if you take away the field goals the Bills got when the defense/special teams put the offense in field goal range just to watch them go three and out and sometimes backward. What does it say when a linebacker is tied for the team lead in TD's. I know what it doesn't say. It doesn't say we have a problem at QB. No sir. In know way is that number a reflection on the QB. Our QB is doing a great job and has a great future in the NFL.
-
They didn't turn the ball over because they game planned Loseman out of the offense. 15 attempts and 12 attempts. If they are planning to "use" loseman that means they ball will hitting the turf a lot. Defensive TD's are a real possibility. And don't use "dumb" then use "2 progressions". To go through all of your reads is "1 progression". Loseman can't even get to his second read let alone going through his entire progression twice.
-
Maybe that's what Jouron is hoping for. This is the last act of the JP Loseman show. For Coach Jouran to go against what he thinks best just shows that the frustration has gotten the best of him. They tried to make Loseman an NFL QB and it failed. So they are at the point where they will try anything. I do like this move. The Texans defense is free on my fantasy football league. I really need a win this week so I can use the defensive TD's.
-
When? By drafting OL in the fifth round? Marv didn't do crap to help this offensive line. People want to hammer TD for Mike Williams. McCargo over Mangold is going to hurt this franchise for a long time.

finally someone with a clue not mindlessly ...

Now show everyone the percentages minus Loseman's short completeions on 3rd and long. Any QB in league can have inflated numbers when the defense is giving you the short stuff. -

Melvin Fowler. At least Marv thinks so. He passed on him twice. But at least we have a safety and a injury prone defensive tackle. Great job Marv. -
And you call me "retard"? And for the people that want to bring up Drew Brees again? Try Todd Collins. It's a much closer match. They each had 17 starts until fans knew they couldn't cut it. The party is over.
-
You know that is much more interesting than anything you have to say on the Losman debate. It has to be since you have nothing to say.
-
So you think that JP Loseman is going to figure out how to play QB in those two games? If JP hasn't started to develop by now? It's not going to happen. Wanting to see the Bills other options doesn't mean that they are the " savior". That's the same BS that others try to sell. Be better than that. Let's just see if Nall has any QB skills. We already know the limits of the guy that is starting now. Nall doesn't have to be a " savior" to be better then Loseman. He just has to be OK and that would be a huge improvement.
