well with the release of Brantley, the rest of the bills offseason moves just make no sense whatsoever and seem rather lackluster... oh, wait a minute
-
i sold him an eightball last night.

I read the other thread that was posted about Marv ruining his legacy and just had to post this!
Levy is nothing more than a great talking smart salesman that stepped in a pile of sh*% at the right time
when exactly is the RIGHT time to step in a pile of sh*%??

yeah hes gone, i dont know what is taking so long though
wishful thinking perhaps, but i hope they are just waiting for the FA pool to dry up and and possibly get someone to take on his contract and get a draft pick out of the deal? seems unlikely but it seems only to help the team to wait. it gives them the max amount of time to work out a new deal or make a final decision. it also leaves the door open for ANY other opportunities(desperate teams who miss out on premier FA wideouts) to open up. unless moulds' contract interferes with the signing of another player, i say wait as long as possible to cut him.

Other then Ryan Pickett and Rocky Bernard I dont feel there was any fre agent we lost out on the opportunity to sign. Guys like Runyan, Mike Flannagan, Tutan Reyes are all still available. I liked the triplett signing. Not crazy about Royal but he's younger then Mark Campbell and is a decent blocker. The te positions hinges on everett and how he comes back. I liked the Andre Davis signing. Not a big Bowen fan. I'm hoping Baker beats out him and Coy Wire for the ss spot if thats what it comes down to. Theres still a lot of quality players out there to be had, and it's better then blowing a wad over guys like randle el or adam archuletta.
a well thought out, positive, and intelligent spin on the recent signings and still available FAs for some of the tortured souls on this board.
everyone remember to breathe now. in... out... in... out...

kffl is reporting free agents jeff wright and howard ballard will be in for visits on thursday.
git r don marv ( or whatever it is you guys say)

ron edwards seems the most likely candidate.

And yet we have the same offensive line coach who has actually made the group worse then it was. Hard to believe it could have gotten worse, but it did.
BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!

A torn pectoral muscle but he also had a right knee sprain earlier in the year, personally I'd rather have Pettigout from the Giants.
i had petitgout on my madden team and he was awesome. but that aside, i would think fabini could be a big improvement to our line, at either tackle spot. i wouldn't consider him washed up at 32, but what kind of deal would he command with other teams also interested. are the pats and bucs the only other suitors right now? certainly the pats won't break the bank for him and aren't the bucs in cap trouble? i also think this could help the interior O-line if gandy gets a shot at the LG spot. i hope marv gets him.

actually we have a #2/#3 WR, a #1 DT, and our new #1 TE...
Sadly, you are probably correct.

if the bills trade down in the draft i'd love to see them get mangold from osu. i'm not really thrilled by any of the free agent centers out there
-
i'd love for the bills to get bunkley but as already mentioned by one poster, not at #8. and since buffalo has yet to make any kind of noise in free agency, i wouldn't really mind them trading out of the #8 spot in order to get more picks. this team has alot of holes to fill and trading down to get say an extra 2nd rounder sounds really good right now. hopefully leinart, young,or cutler fall to #8 and the bills could get some suitors for that pick.

offer free zanax to the first 20,000 people in the ralph every sunday. that or make the jills take off a piece of clothing every time opposing teams score.

He's proven to be a quality clipboard holder. When's the last time he actually played, let alone meaningful minutes?
exactly what i was thinking. did he ever play for KC?
-
Yeah right the Bills will sign a LB. Crowell proved last year he could play LB and play it well. He will take Posey's spot next season.
i don't know that crowell could play the strong side, but who knows. still i'd hate to see the bills pass on davis to take a LB.

Royal is the key. i mean, who needs a Bentley, Shaffer or Hutchinson when you have a quality blocking tight end like Royal?
Marv? is that you?
-
what were his comments? for those of us out of the WNY area
-
I dont know why but I get this image of the golden boys showing their "father figure side"
And they are off buying Ice Cream and playing video games
As long as they don't show their touchy feely creepy uncle side.

The Bills are back to having a bend-but-don't-break defense. They're tooling up the offense to be a high-scoring, fast-paced affair—just like the old days
i wish they'd begin this tooling up of the offense pretty soon. not that i'm being impatient but Royal and Davis do not a K-gun make.

Geezus H. Keyrihst.
when did he get moved to tackle? and isn't he getting up there in age?
-
dan neal could be worth a look
-
Now I agree the deal is getting finalized.
you are probably right, they must be in the final stages of negotiating if they pushed it back just a few hours. it's not like the owners/gm's haven't had enough time to consider their possible cuts.
-
i don't recall him making too many plays on ST, though many people tout him as a GREAT special teamer. anyone know his actual stats on coverage teams???
-
wow, i wish i never clicked on that draft history link. so many poor selections which i had forgotten. let's hope marv can start to turn this trend around.
