  1. Thurman thomas was a waste of a pick too. Him and those crappy knees. Letting Howard Ballard and Nate Odoms go was a terrible mistake. Drafting Bledsoe will solve our problems. Lofton is over the hill. Marv Levy never coached anywhere. No receivier from Kutztown can make it in the NFL.

Please, be selective in your ability to predict the past with such accuracy.

Thurman Thomas wasnt the 8th pick in the draft and wasnt even drafted in the first round

Nate hurt himself outside of football and the Bills line has sucked since ballard left

    Drafting Bledsoe???????

Lofton was a free agent pickup that cost the Bills nothing but money

Andre Reed was a 4th round pick

your arguments are completely off base and none have anything to do with the Bills taking Whitner at 8 today

  2. Yea and back when we drafted Mike Williams at #4 did all you guys give us an A!

no, drafting a RT at 4 is just dumb...not to mention there was a LT on the board that was a better player

McKinney isnt Ogden but he is good and head and shoulders above Willaims

  3. I don't blame them....I really thought we'd either take him or trade out of the spot. The only reason I'm not more upset than I am is because I honestly don't know enough about some of the other prospects - particularly Whitner.

i would have preferred Bunkley over Whitner

  4. we really need to trade back into the 1st round and pick up a guy like bunkley if hes still around, deal clements and a 3rd rounder, i dont see us paying nate the money hes looking for

John McCargo is the guy to trade back into the first round for

    6. * John McCargo, 6-2, 302, N.C. State

Mr. Inside who often occupied multiple blockers to help free up pass rushing teammates Mario Williams and Manny Watson. A stress fracture in his left foot ended his 2005 season in October, and then he opted to skip his senior season to enter the draft. Injury doesn't concern scouts, who like his strength and non-stop motor.

  5. I think if he's dropped this far then there must be some issue with him that is even more serious than we anticipated. I can't see the Bills making a move back into the round to pick a player like that. I'm assuming the EAgles are about to take him with the 14th pick, but who knows....

the Eagles will most likely take him, cant believe they are waiting this long to do so

Tom Heckert was on with Eskin the other day and didnt say much but one thing he did say was if Bunkley was there when they picked they would have a hard time passing on him

  6. Oakland picking Huff is what threw the wrench in our works.  In fact, we may have been able to trade down twice, once with AZ for Leinart, and again for Denver for Cutler.  I defer to Levy and Modrak on Whittner, not Mel Kiper.

there are more draft guys in the world then Kiper and none of them had Whitner going in the top 10 or even 15

  7. This mock Draft had him going to the Fish in round 1.

    Football.com

If you look at like we stole one from the Fish, I don't think it's a bad pick at all.

YOU DONT DRAFT A GUY JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW OR THINK ANOTHER TEAM IS GOING TO DRAFT HIM, ESPECIALLY 8 PICKS TOO HIGH....DIDNT WE GO THROUGH THAT ALREADY WITH DENNEY, HOW DID THAT WORK OUT

    the apologists are coming
