  1. Like who? They got a couple of freshmen that are coming in this year with 4.4 or better speed. The biggest problem I REALLY see for them is Penn St. and that game is early in the season too. Who do they really play that has that much speed to make them worry? Michigan probably has the fastest group of WR', but we've already talked about Henne and it wouldn't surprise me if Hart was already injured by the ND game. He just seems that prone to it, injury that is.

  2. That was the greatest football game I've ever watched to this day. I was fifteen and completely dejected because my team was getting stomped in the playoffs at home. I was about to change the channel, but said what the heck because I had watched it this far. Next thing I know, I was jumping all over the living room with every touchdown. I was scared when they let Houston tie the game and it went into overtime. But when the kick went through in OT, all I could say was, "Wow, what a game."

  3. Bunkley? Most productive behind Bush  ......................................... You're kidding right? All of these people in this first round and you think Bunkley will be the 2nd most productive? You have Mario Williams (freak of nature), Jason Hawk, Vernon Davis (Steve Smith in the Incredible Hulk's body), Michael Huff, Ngata, Leinart (who's sure to play because Kurt will be injured by week 4), Cutler (who I think has a REAL shot at stealing Plummer's job this year), D'Angelo Williams, Laurence Maroney, Joseph Addai (who will be an instant starter with Peyton), Ernie Sims (who flies all over the field), Cameron Wimbley, Tye Hill, Mercedes Lewis, and Jason Allen, Donte Whitner (who will be starting for us from day 1), and McCargo (whom we've heard absolutely nothing about and in this day and age, no news is good news). Not even counting the couple of beast offensive linemen here either. And you think Bunkley will be the 2nd most productive rookie behind Bush? Chances of that are likely 0% especially if he isn't catching on to the system.

P.S.- Being able to modify a post is good.

  4. He won't be the first pick in the draft, but he'll be top 5.

I don't see anybody else in the college game right now who could take his spot unless the team who ends up with the first pick already has a franchise QB. He is far and above the best QB that will be available in the 2007 draft.

  5. I wouldn't say he's 10x better, but until i see what Jauron can do with the Bills, I will say it is atleast Belichick>Jauron

He's atleast 3 times better. That being the number of Superbowls he's won with the Patriots. 5 times better if you throw in the couple of rings he picked up with Parcells and the Giants. How many rings or better yet, playoff wins does a Jauron coached team have? I do believe the answer is 0.

  6. Yeah, he totally blew our shot at the playoffs in the Pittsburgh game. It was their 2nd and 3rd string defense in there and he couldn't get it done. He loves to stand in the pocket like a statue and just pat the ball 20 times until he gets hit and fumbles or it's either in the midst of his throwing motion causing interceptions. Alot of my friends like the Cowboys and were talking about how great he was after the first 4 or 5 weeks. I told them to just wait and see. The real Drew would show up for work soon and he didn't disappoint. He's been done since Brady took his job. He's been nothing but a mediocre QB ever since.

  7. Holy crap. We're over two months away from playing the first game of the season, and you're prognosticating about our 2007 draft pick based on an injury to a divisional team's center.

You should change your name to Holcomb's Balls because you got 'em and they're the size of coconuts.

LOL!!! Now that's comedy. :w00t: I've been talking about us picking Quinn ever since the end of this year's draft. We didn't do but so much in the offseason to help ourselves so it seemed like a logical viewpoint. About Mangold, didn't the guy do like 48 reps with 225 at the combine? I know it was in the mid to upper 40's somewhere. We know he's as strong as an ox and he had to practice everyday against a pretty good OSU defense if I remember correctly. Teague probably just blew his chance of playing at all, barring injury to Mangold.

  8. Yeah, but the way those other guys mentioned play could very well be different if they were on a different team and in a different scheme. They all have to be able to communicate from their position with others and make the right decisions for thei respective spots. I think Whitner will be a solid player. He's no Ed Reed or anything like that, but he should end up being a good player on our defensive unit. Once he gets the feel for NFL game speed and learns our defense, he culd very well be a Pro-Bowl caliber player. He definitely has all the physical attributes and talent seemingly.

  9. If any of those 3 are staring at LT, I am going to have to consume at least 3 times my normal amount of alcohol during the game. I mean........JERMAN an LT?? :P  :P

I would probably lapse into a coma.  ;)

And three times the amount of Rolaids, Tums, or whatever you prefer :P

  10. This falls along the same lines as the Notre Dame situation. Everyone wanted to say that it was Ty Willingham who created last years resurgent Irish squad because they were all basically his recruits. But the truth is, he had the same people up under his wings and couldn't even make a bowl game. Charlie Weis is the man who brought these guys together, turned Quinn into a superstar, and put us back up around the top of the College Football world. If someone comes in here to Buffalo and gets it done, bringing us the long awaited SBC we covet, then the current GM, owner, and coaching staff should get all the credit in the world. The only credit from us TD should get is the same kind of credit the eagles give T.O. Thanks for almost completely running our franchise under with your decision making and whatnot TD!!! Atleast T.O. got his team to a Superbowl one year before imploding the team, we didn't even get into the playoffs.

  11. McGahee is definitely an elite back in this league. It's already been proven. He didn't run for touchdowns last year because of the OL, Mularkey's system, and because our team couldn't get close enough to the endzone for him to get the other 5-7 yards. Do a little research and see how many of Shaun Alexander's scores were from inside the 10 yard line. I bet it was atleast 2/3 of them and he had a BEAST OL to run behind. Ronnie Brown will be a good back in a year or 2. Another name to look out for is Maroney, who went to the bleepin Patriots. He's got a good burst, very agile, and runs with pretty good power. With the New England OL, which is solid, leading the way he could get a thousand yards if he gets enough carries. I think the Patriots are going to a "RB-by-commitee" deal with him and Dillon anyway. Kinda like how the Broncos rolled last year. Martin's best years are surely behind him. But right now, I would have to agree that Willis is definitely the "Beast of the AFC East" at RB.

  12. You can switch it around to all of the young players today. Koren Robinson, Ricky Manning Jr., Adam "I go by Pac-Man" Jones, Randy McMichael, Marcus Vick, everybody indicted that caught charges from the "Love Boat", and we could keep going and going and going on this topic. Holmes is just another one of those on that "I'm a star and can do whatever" trips.

  13. Three of these guys are going to be in the first round of cuts, one will be for the practice squad, and 3 on the roster. Hmmmmm, judging by contract alone, the three left on the active roster will be Losman, Holcomb, and Nall. The rest of those guys are vieing for a practice squad spot.
