Wasn't there, but watched it. Still get goose bumps.

    Crazy series of events.

Best part, I was young, in my early 20's, single, my own apartment, new car, good job, hope for Buffalo sports teams wasn't completely crushed yet 😀

    Man.....Good times!

Those early 20s, carefree days are so special!  It doesn't take long before the weight of the world crushes your spirit

  2. It's very common slang around here, I don't mind using it appropriately with close friends or even that friend from high school you don't see as often but you guys have that mutual respect for each other....but I absolutely hate it when you go somewhere and a salesman or someone taking your food order tries calling you that.  Super corny in those instances.

  3. I did a playoff bracket on NHL.com and was really happy with how I've done so far.  I had Florida and Edmonton as the two teams in the finals and according to NHL.com I got 71% of my picks correct.   My ranking in this thing?  28,690 🤣🤣🤣

Believe it or not, when talking about NFL players some folks care only about their performance on the field.

Based on your language I can recognize that this may be scary to you, but I am confident that you can be brave and come to understand in time if you truly try.

Believe me I know that's the case.  And I'm not one of those people that expect pro athletes to be choir boys, I know they live much different lifestyles than us peons and with that there's gonna come some trouble.  I also did my fair share of dumb s*** when I was in my 20's so I'm not even a very judgmental person when it comes to most stuff.  I was not one of those people attacking Araiza when that story broke before all the details came out etc..

But where I draw the line is I'm not going to celebrate or turn a blind eye to a Sociopath who murdered two innocent people because I am a football fanatic.  So thanks for the snarky reply but you still sound like a dumbass to me.

Long story short….growing up in Buffalo it was a fandom handed down to me from my family/community

But more specifically what drew me in was the 1988 season when the Bills were good for the first time that I could remember.  People in Buffalo were very excited about the team. The playoff win against Houston was one of the first games I can remember really looking forward to.   So many superstars on the team and nearly a decade of sustained success.

Pretty cool to think about how many new diehard fans have been broken in since the 2019 season.  Still living in the area I have witnessed a whole new wave of Bills obsessed people who couldn't have cared less about the Bills during the drought lol.

No way the NFL would do this right?  This is our sport.

Would they ever put Wimbledon or Europa Championships in NYC?

The NFL would give Super Bowl hosting rights to ISIS if the price was right $$$$$$$$$

  7. I was and born and raised and still reside in WNY to this day so I guess it comes naturally.  It was my Uncle who really got me hooked though.  He had season tickets throughout the entire Jim Kelly run from 86-96 and always had so many incredible stories from being at all the games during the glory years and was a part of the tearing down the goalposts you see in my profile pic.  He even has a piece of the goalpost to this day! I was just a little kid back then but the whole thing seemed fascinating and larger than life to me as an elementary schooler.  I'm a little bit more jaded on the NFL these days but I'll always be a lifer when it comes to the Bills.

I agree.  NFL needs to come down hard on this and they should force the Jags to forfeit their first three games.

Ha!  Good luck with that...the NFL is too busy plotting out new ways how they can squeeze out another 350 Million Dollars in revenue from the fans next season
