No worries brother.
Oh and to the OP...Holcomb might be an excellent fit in your offense.*-However, the difference between a West Coast offense and a Ram's style offense might elude you. It is entirely possible that Holcomb and Spikes, especially Spikes, would have been salary cap casualities. Anything we got for them was gravy.
*(hint hint Holcomb has a weak arm)
The one pictured in the avatar looks killer. I just don't believe you.

Complete sarcasm on my part btw
Gotcha. My bad...
*Bows out feeling like a fool.

It's alway's nice to meet a well mannered fan from another team. There are New England fans that post on this board and are IMO really cool. Do me a favor and send over any of the Philly fans who meet the description above.
Oh and P.S. the current trend in the NFL is to only go with a starting QB and 1 backup.
Trust me, you don't want any of them over here.

I love newbies...
You haven't been here before...we're not picking on Kelly Holcomb, we're picking on our resident retard, Holcomb's Arm.
Obviously you don't understand regressing toward the mean.

:D
Nothing quite as entertaining as the righteous rage of undergrads casually associated with the College Republicans. Are you a College Republican or not? I think you were freeing some Keystones late last night, weren't you?
Keystones were this weekend, last night it was Icehouse and tonight it is Coors Light.

Kid, give it up... the only thing trapped is your head up your a$$
The road to hell and all that...
Felt like a complete miss to me...
Well goody good-good for you, especially since it gives your kitty A$$ the option of changing your mind if we're still in Iraq when you finally graduate from Walden.
See now the only thing worth giving a rebuttal to is your last statement, since everything else was pretty much what i was expecting, since you guys had no idea what my future plans were, but i did enjoy your irrational arguments...
Changing my mind? You're kidding right? Technically i do have the option to to change my mind, you are right. But the "poor" soldiers who JOINED UP were also given the choice of whether or not to go.
Many of them made the chance a long time ago when they decided not to actively pursue an education in the public high school so they could go to college. Most of the guys i know, who are over there, made the decision in middle school to coast through the rest of their required education. I call that a decision which one can change their mind from.
Do you want to know what the difference between me and you is Mr. Vietnam? Is someone like myself and my friends are going to come back from the war with pride for what we have done, and not use it to sit on our arses and be fall down drunks like most of those vets from Vietnam.
*Edit: I admit the last part might have been a little over the top, but it was said, so it stays unless someone has a real problem with it. There is truth behind it, i am sorry if i offended or diminished any proud image that Vietnam vets have for what they did for their country.

Just because I can put this after my name, TMCM (SS/SW) USN Ret., I'm going to volunteer to answer your questions.
1. No, unlike many Repblicans I will never question someone's patriotism just because their political views don't coincide with mine.
2. Why YES! Yes you are a kitty! If you are a vocal advocate of a war but are unwilling to put your own a$$ on the line for what you suposedly believe in, then you are a kitty!
3. Gee, no shidt, the draft is not currently being used... That could change you know... I wonder how many college republicans will head for Canada if it does?
4. How in the holy flying hell does calling out pussies like you, idiots who are vocal supporters of the Iraq War, as long as they aren't the one's fighting it, slander anybody on active duty? Please, Please, explain that to me.
5. I already signed up and did 20+ years of active duty, serving in Vietnam, Beiruit, Panama, Grenada, and the first Gulf War, I more than earned the right to B word, in fact because of my service and the service of millions of other guys and gals like me, you also have the right to B word, so go ahead and use the rights that other people earned for you, B word away...
6. and as for wanting to join up... IT'S YOUR TURN...
1) I feel so awful2) If you think this adventure in Iraq is as important as the College Republicans think it is, you should go and join up, IMO. They want to call Democrats names on their web sites but they won't go and fight. I think that's pathetic.
3) No, the troops over there are not fighting for me. I don't see what they are doing in Iraq as helping me or the United States at all in the long or short term. I think its really funny and sad you think they are fighting for my freedom in Iraq. Pathetic! Shouldn't the College Republicans show there support by joining the troops over there? I mean if our freedom and way of life are at stake, wouldn't they want to? Or is that all bull sh--?
4) I have already done my four years, got the GI Bill and used it to get my degree. But, if America really was in danger, as the College Republicans say, I would join back up.
Well gents. Thanks for jumping into my trap, i appreciate it.
If you would check in my profile and find the topic that i created called "Got into UB" and read the conversation, you will see that i have every intention of joining the ranks.
OOO, how'd that feel?
Don't think that just because I am going to college does not mean i am not going into the army. I'm going to college before hand, i have every intention of going over seas, the only difference between me and the guys who are in there before going to college, is i am not making the army foot the bill.
Good day gentlemen.

I lived and grew up in friggin Florida (after being born in Buffalo), and always loved teh times I visited Buffalo, mainly because of the food.
Not the small city Buffalo women?

for the sake of stuffing mcgahee and making him eat his words lets draft willis (the LB) with the 12th pick and then trade back into round one and draft Puz! unleash them both on mcgahee!!
i'm just joking, just to make that clear... but here's a serious question, do you think the Sabres could loan us one of their goons for that Sunday afternoon?!?!
HAHA, that game is going to be GREAT!
I wouldn't mind Andrew Peters with cleets.
-
Not quite. We think it will take some 3.5 months of threads to show the Eagles board how to
regress to the mean.
You should probably go get them now and invite them over.
-
I can't believe we are hiring those who bombed Pearl Harbor.
-
You are changing the subject. I get what you mean, but someone living large while preaching conservation is not on the same level as these College Republicans screaming we are in a war as important as world war two, yet not putting their asses on the line. Their very actions say that the war isn't important, yet they want to send over more troops, as long as they are not part of the troops. F-kn chickenhawks
I gotta tell you, I think this could be one of the most insulting things i have read in a very long time.
I am a College Republican when it comes to foreign policy, what do you make of it? Are you saying I don't love my country? Are you calling me a kitty?
I'm going to let you in on a little secret Mr. Lennon. What a lot of your liberal journals are not telling you, is that the draft is no longer used, and these boys who are over there signed up to go over there. All the guys that I know who are over there, want to be over there because they are fighting for your future, as well as mine. I don't think that good friends of mine who are fighting for your way of life would truly appreciate this kind of bull sh-- being posted, slandering them as well as the people that they consider their family.
Seriously Michael Moore, go have a cry with Cindy Sheehan, cause I sure as sh-- do not want to hear any more of this garbage. This ain't Vietnam anymore, hippie, so quit your bitchin' and shut the !@#$ up, unless you want to join up?
-
In the last 4 or 5 years, besides Aaron Rodgers, did any other "invited" players drop past 12?
Didn't Daunte Cullpepper fall that far?
-
Crunchy!
He was an animal before the injury. Nothing but respect for the guy.
It's all Donahoe's fault, he let Rusty Jones walk to Chicago. I think that helped them a little eh.
As for Takeo, I'm not going to remember the injured guy, i'll remember the Takeo Spikes who helped kick the sh-- out of the Patriots in the 31-0 shutout game, and the guy who was always a force to be dealt with.
To Takeo...

That is what Stank said, "if its snowing up there, he better bring protection" or something along those lines
I think its become obvious that Willis doesn't use protection.

Soon after Mike Williams was cut, my roommate's new cat had nasty diarrhea all over it.
It was a fitting end to his time in Buffalo.
-
I like how they described him coming out of college as a puppy...
try a puppy who sh-- on the rug and was never house broken.
-
THANK YOU!
LSI get off of your knees, you look ridiculous.

You assaulted a guy because a steak had passed the "sell by" date? That's a little weird.
I kept it real.

It will settle down and of the 300 new members that join after the season, only a few ever make more than 50 posts it seems. Things even out. In one year, JSP will still be cranky, DC Tom will have a new name, Darin will have used " " at least 2000 times and mead will still want wine.....but GoB1LLZ07KellyMouldsReedTD348378 will most likely be long gone.
Don't worry about it....just enjoy the ride.
You know, its interesting that you bring this up. I have thought for about the last 7 months or so that it is incredibly easy to tell who is going to stick around on TSW, and who is going to be a one time poster or a troll.
If they have some kind of name having to deal with a past player or multiple past players like the name of the member in your post above, they are more than likely not going to stick around. If they have a personalized name or a name that in a way engulfs a persona or a name which is recognizable, they are more likely to be the individuals who stick around for the long haul.
-
There a lot of "old timers" who share your opinion. I'm disappointed I never got to see him play (aside from random highlights)...or Gale Sayers for that matter.
What about Brian Piccalo?
-
What is COL? How do you fund it?
Cost of Living. I fund it by working my ass off at a night warehouse with the lowest sob's (yes lower than you guys) that anyone could ever come in contact with.
Forgive me if i look to skew the accounting practices somewhat in my favor, since although tuition is more, beer, cigarettes, and general cost of living are cheaper in the southern states.
-
Can I assume you are not paying the bills? NYS school vs. out-of-State?
I pay for COL.
-
So TSWs downfall its George W Bush's fault?
Bush Bad.
I am writing that bastard a letter that expresses my discontent.
Thanks for Spikes, Holcomb, best of luck with Walker, 7th rdr
