*I believe we trade back into round one and either pick up Houston or Revis.

With this setup, the Bills have a great shot at contention with a young team. I do believe we draft Lynch. He is more than likely what Marv wants. If we trade back into the first round, we can get a quality CB who will sure up the other side. We pick up Beekman or another guard at some point. We don't draft a DT high because we drafted McCargo last year and lost a lot to get him. Crowell could be the future MLB for the Bills thus saving us a draft pick (Check the BB.com depth chart, he is already penciled in). Youboty is our guy. I put both Walker and Beekman in bold because of my inability at this particular time, due to exhaustion, able to distinguish a clear starter. Thoughts?

  2. Not that I disagree with you completely, but can you explain that further. I'm not sure how passing on a player who had over 1300 rushing/receiving yards, 88 receptions, 8 rushing/receiving touchdowns, and a punt return touchdown was the right decision.

Oh, i'm sorry. I must have forgotten to indicate that sarcasm button was "on".

LOL. You thought i meant it actually worked out for the Texans. *Shaking head laughing*

  3. I think Michael Turner would be the answer to our RB question and what do you think it would take to get him here? I'd be willing to give up a 1st and a 3rd. Thoughts?

Just f-ing with everyone.......somebody had to start at least one Turner thread today.

Good call. Ugh, I'm not sure I would give up a first, but maybe a third or fourth. I think we look to the draft. DT, LB, or CB in the first and then the second round talent for runningbacks.

  4. Remember the kid's game show, Shenanigans? It was hosted by Stubby Kaye. If I remember correctly, it was a live-action board game with kids serving as the playing pieces. Stubby regularly "touched" the kids as he helped them move around the board.

Can we have an Official Shenanigans Thread?

Sounds like where in the world is Carmen San Diego.

Can you think of any other game shows?

  5. I never said "best"...I said "most versatile". I would much rather have Adrian Peterson.

Everyone talks schit about Mel Kiper and everyone complains about where a draftee is "projected" to go. Where did you get your Brian Leonard "projections"? Mel Kiper? Mike Mayock? I know it probably wasn't from someone in the front office of an NFL organization, so your late 2nd early 3rd round "projection" of where Brian Leonard gets drafted doesn't mean schit.

As we saw last year with Marv and co., projections are just that, projections.

I don't listen to Mel Kiper, i think he is kind of a douche bag. Coming to the end of the college season, i look at his big board and find out who to look for. I then watch Bowl games or any games remaining in the season. Then comes keeping my eyes open and establishing who i like and who i dislike. I talk to people here and listen to what they seem to think some of a players problems are, and then I watch the combine and make my own decision. I look at the draft and say a guy like him is going to slip through to possibly the third round.

Projection? Yes. Accurate? More than likely.

  6. Hmmm, I wonder if that could be the reason why his numbers dropped, he went from being the go-to #1 WR on a team, to the afterthought decoy #2, and the guy he was decoying for ended up in the Pro Bowl.

I would still like to know the Reason why the Texans released him though.

I thought his cap number was outrageous for a decoy?

  7. Antonio Brown was a WR, not a RB, with pretty good staright line speed and that was about it.

Speed isn't an overall indicator of talent, but when someone says that a RB looks awkward carrying the football, wtf is that supposed to mean? But also, just because Leonard comes from the Big East don't mean schit. Look at Steve McNair from Alcorn St, or TO from Tennessee Chatanooga, or LFB from John Carroll. I'm sure the conferences these guys played in were full of power houses :wallbash:

Leonard pretty much single handedly turned around the Rutgers football program in the 4 years that he was there by providing leadership, skill, and heart.

He is THE most versatile RB in this draft. He can run, he has caught more passes than any other RB in this draft, and he can block.

Thanks, I knew that Brown was a WR. But he is still possibly the fastest Bill to ever suit up. thats why i mentioned his name.

IF he is the best running back in this league, why is he currently projected to go in the late 2nd or early third? There's something wrong there.

  8. try reading from left to right... With the 28th ranked run-D no stone should be left unturned. Mccargo has missed the most of his last two football seasons. Why not think about a 6'6 run stuffer (FA)?

I realize this, what i am saying is i am not sure that Marv is ready to abandon the McCargo experiment. Robaire Smith has never been anything special.
