  1. Interesting draft. My guess is if Willis, Branch and Okoye are gone, Marv goes with Poszulsny at LB at 12. He won't deal down and risk losing him. He'll take him, get roasted by Kiper for reaching, and I'll be happy we got a good LB.

We'll get the RB in round 2.

Poszulsny is not going at pick 12. I see where you are coming from, but he has a chance of falling out of the first round by draft day.

  2. Is this a real thread?

    Bills "really" pick #9?

I'm quite sure that they are really picking #12.

    Desperation is sad.

If you want to take this approach and stretch it you can say that the Bills really have the #1 pick in the draft.

    :wallbash::beer::D:P

No, No. Wait. It has struck me. We take our first over all pick and trade it to the Bills who are picking at number 12 for fourth round pick, the real Bills get two picks man.

People high jacked it a while ago. Pretty much shot down the brilliant idea that the Bills are picking 9th.

Civil Service Message: Kids, marijuana does many things including making you think in abstract ways about the NFL Draft that have absolutely no baring on the actual thing, and just results in your peers pointing and laughing. So, don't do drugs. THE MORE YOU KNOW.

  4. 4 yrs per ESPN...................I'm a little concearned over the lack of attention the run defense has received. I don't think Smith is a world-beater, but he would be better than any Tim Anderson/Kyle Williams/draft pick scenario.

Marv drafted McCargo because he thought he could sit on the bench for the next 10-15 years. So yeah we should probably draft another one.

  5. He ran a faster 40 yd dash than your boy Marshawn.

Mayock says he looks awkward running the ball. WTF does that suppose to mean? He lost 12 lbs to get into HB shape and everyone was saying that he should have gained 12 lbs instead. If you watch this guy, he may not be ellusive, but he sure as hell isn't going to be dancing behind the line on 3rd and short like one of our featured HBs used to do.

Wow, if we measured success and caiber of a running back on his fourty yard dash time, then we should go sign Antonio Brown back.

He played at Rutgers, and there are only 2-3 teams in the Big East that can claim any decency in the NCAA.

  6. Bush in the 2nd round and Leonard (if he's still on the board in the 3rd) as his FB/backup RB. Just imagine how potentially dangerous this backfield would be behind our new O line. Use the rest of the draft to stop the run add in one WR and you have a recipe for instant success. 10-6 in 2007! Wow, now I'm all excited, this mock draft stuff is fun...

Why? Because you get to pretend that every player your team drafts has a lot of success?

  7. On NFL network tonight, they were speculating that if Cleveland doesn't take him at #3 and instead opts for Quinn, they just don't see another team that would need/take him until at least #10 Atlanta. They went on to say it would be a dream scenario for Buffalo if he fell into their laps at #12. That would sure make things interesting!

Okay, it is going to be pretty wierd for you if you cream in your pants talking about AP.

  8. why not take out Calcin Johnson, Joe Thomas adn GAines Adams too. No way in hell we have a shot at them.

    Now we're picking 6th.

we can get a lot more in trade for our 1st rounder now that its a 6 instead of a 12. :wallbash:

    What a plan!

 If we have the 6th pick, we can trade back down to 12 and still get one of our guys and extra picks.

  9. "Does this really have to be in a new thread?" or "this was already discussed in one of the million other threads!".

    Here's my response to that.

Do you remember that song by NWA regarding the police? Well, that's exactly how I feel.

I mean, come on, does every thread really have to be an "official" thread? Just askin'.

    "9-11 is a joke"?

  10. While true to some extent, I don't think Marv values RB that highly in terms of the 12th overall draft pick...good value can be found in lower rounds.

Oh I completely agree and I would have no problem if we passed on Lynch for something we needed. The guys i want consist of Willis, Lynch, Okoye, Hall, or Branch in no particular order. If Marv were to pass on Lynch I don't think it would be the end of the world as long as we drafted one of the other guys listed, and then we picked up a Pittman, Bush, or Irons later in the draft.

  11. I nominate Erin Andrews. She was a cheerleader at the University of Florida before she got her sideline reporter gig for ESPN. I think she qualifies as an athlete.

Then we could have Jen Sterger qualify as an athlete too.

  12. He may want to come back, and a lot of fans could want him back....

    But does Marv Levy?

I think the answer to that is a resounding "no".

Maybe it was all part of Marv's evil plan. He'd deal Moulds to the Texans, get Kyle Williams, Moulds would get himself cut, and come back to wearing Buffalo blue.
