  1. This entire article reminds me of a commercial a few years back which involved a coach in the locker room of his pop warner football team speaking to his team before the game. He says something like "this is what we are going to do, any questions?". Then one of the kids raises his hand and asks when he's getting his shoe deal and another asks when he's getting his contract extension.

Extremely funny, but sadly true when discussing today's modern athletes. You never hear any stories of guys like Michael Jordan, Babe Ruth, Joe Dimaggio, Bart Starr, Larry Bird, or Dick Butkis going out to Las Vegas and striking other athletes. There were never drive by shootings where there were two NFL players sitting in a limo, and athletes really did not care about the money.

What has happened today is some kind of disgusting mutation that has taken place, from the athletes of yester-year into these money grubbing, women possessing, respect neglected, egotistical sons of bitches that we all pay attention to for some odd reason.

  2. Paul Posluszny, LB, Penn State -- He's the type of linebacker you pencil in as a starter for 10 years and don't worry about that spot.

    I want him.

Notice how everybody in his top 32 is considered an all star, and will be special for a really long time.

How many of them will end up being pro bowlers after 5 years?

Don't pay any attention to this sh--, my god, i thought we knew this.

Why not just link to Mel Kipers website where there is a daily blowing of the top fifty players.

  3. Just because they signed him doesn't make him a candidate to be a team leader.

For your information usually a teams third or fourth receiver....

especially one with the personality and capacity of Josh Reed doesn't make a great candidate as team leader.

If Joss Reed is one of the four core leaders on this team we have a serious leadership crisis on our hands.

He was a team leader in college when he was at LSU, who says he wouldn't be fit to be one now?

  4. Those Dammed Liberals may have drawn first blood, but you were the first one to Cry like a little kitty!

Believe me kid, nothing you can do will ever have much of an effect on me. In fact the only reason I keep posting replies to your over-inflated sense of self importance is because I consider it my civic duty to do so. That and your bitching, moaning, and whining just amuse the hell out of me. :wallbash:

I really need to find out what it is you think I keep walking into. Apparently it's something that makes little Pussies like you all giggly and twittery...

Who said anything about bitching and moaning? I would call it anything but bitching and moaning, and i think the only reason your saying this is because it was probably how you were when you were my age.

I love how your only defense is to call me a kitty and further prove that you know little about how the younger generations feel about the war in Iraq. But please, continue. I mean you probably more understanding of college republicans today than a college republican himself.

  5. There is a new era beginning. Now it's clear why the Bills went so overboard with Kelsay, they must expect big things from him. There's four lockers and only two have been assigned so far and it's been to defensive players. I wonder any of the two remaining will go to the offense.

I bet Losman and either Lee Evans, Josh Reed, or Jason Peters take the last two.

  6. I'm going to Italy for about 10 days starting April 2nd. Anyways I was wondering if anyone has ever been there or has any advice for what I should look at and see (minus the obvious: The city, the women, more women, etc...) while I am there?

the babes, hotties, senoritas, sisters, bitches, scripples, chicks, chicas, hombras, ladies, girls, girlies, italianas, hens, cows, hunnies, hookers, whores, hijas.

There are more if you want them.

  7. Was it John Kerry who said this?

Mr. College Republican, do you know the meaning of the word hypocrisy? In that one post you did/said everything that you supposedly despise John Kerry for doing/saying. Oh and while you’re taking about that post, you don’t like posts that paint all of your peers in an unflattering light? Gee, you don’t seem to have a problem with posting nonsense about all Vietnam Vets, or all Liberals, or all anybody else you don’t agree with. I guess it’s demeaning if it’s directed at you, but it’s constructive criticism if it’s coming from you.

Here's a guarantee for you kid; Whenever you and your buddies return from whatever shooting war you eventually participate in, (if you ever do, which remains to be seen) you will look back on your current attitudes and worldview and wonder how you managed to breathe with your head jammed that far up your own a$$.

I can confidently predict that, because I’ve experienced it first hand.

Who drew first blood? I believe it was the liberals of the board.

Secondly, you sit there and B word about how pissed off i get when read something that is demeaning to myself, yet you sat there and did the exact same thing. Good job scout, you walked into it again.

  8. Last time I looked groups like African-Americans and other minorities DIDN'T have a choice in the matter... Unlike choosing to be a Democrat/Republican/Libertarian/whatever, etc...

    No... I don't understand.

EII, i'm not trying to start anything, i actually think your a pretty good guy. I see where you are coming from, and i'm not sure if my analogy was the best one to select. I was not talking about a choice, but basically people like myself were called out and i reacted.

  9. And yes... It should stay... You spoke it... Just as they spoke it in the past!

    Wow!

You wouldn't think it would ever go back to this mentality... At Least it skipped a few generations... I guess the "Big War" mentality is back!

What I mean is... My father is a disabled Vet... And he'd always tell of this same schit spewing around the VA hospital back in the day... The same schit that you spew, Some WWII ("Big War") vets would spew towards the one's that fought in the Korean and Vietnam era's...

Wow... I never thought it would happen... But, it is happening again!

I wouldn't say its back, after all i did apologize. And once again, i'm sorry i haven't had that great of a day and i spoke my mind in the wrong forum.

It irritates when people frown on republicans, and especially attack those of fighting age. Who are these guys to sit there and trash me because I'm getting an education? Would they rather have me sit on my ass and do nothing with my life? I don't know and I may never know, but to sit there and create an entire topic that trashes people like me is just over the top.

It's like starting a topic about African Americans and putting them down. Your going to get a response from somebody who doesn't like what you're saying. You know what i mean?

  10. I love how you think that Reno Mahe would start for any team ever, that undersized, unathletic BYU piece of trash. Oh and Moats was just an absolute steal in the 3rd round, huh. Correll Buckhalter I could throw into the mix, but I won't, because I'm just gonna assume he has a serious knee injury before the season starts like always.

I think i would take Aaron Schobel over Javon Kearse as well.
