Yeah, that was my thought too. I wonder if most were sent after those dump passes to Shelton?
For all we know, RW sent notes during the Levy years as well. But I'm sure the media wouldn't have made out of it a negative back then. More like, "wow RW's really got it on."
Winning changes all perspectives.

And we all know how knowlegeable MB ("you want fries with that") posters are.
Look at Florio, the grand poobah (or is that just poo) of posters--he created his own board just so he could impress himself with his boundless knowledge.
-
Maybe Joe saw it for what it was--a tacky, poorly produced bit of filler before the next Bud Light commercial.

Now if we could just get Roscoe to throw like Randel El.

Here is a link to some comments about the brutal officiating last night. At the bottom of the story are some links to other sites about the officiating as well.
Pretty much says it all......
Yep, Fox, Slate, Skip Bayless, and Florio: a real murderer's row there.

here's one that I read this morning, and I didn't go looking for it either...Fox Sports
Fox, it figures. Just another "Look at me! Look at me!" / Dancing with the Stars / hot pockets media outlet that has to light themselves on fire to get attention and sell advertising.

Not that I've seen. The Seattle-Tacoma press coverage isn't focusing on "refs" and "fix" like large segments of TSW are. The only thing like that that I've seen this morning from is Michael Wilbon, who in the grand tradition of ESPN/Fox sports "entertainers" is using the F-word.

Funny, how there's more bitching going on here about the refs than in any of the Seattle coverage of the game.
Most of what I've seen is this:
"It wasn't us at times," Hasselbeck said. "It's unfortunate in the biggest game of the season, we didn't play our best football."

I thought Mick sounded pretty good considering the mix was all fuged up at first (way too hot on the vocals, too little on the guitars). The fact it was "real," as opposed to a taped charade like most halftime shows, was enjoyable and Mick's comment about Super Bowl I was funny.

Shoop on Jauron's radar for Bills job
Former Bears coaches may reunite in Buffalo
DETROIT -- Former Bears offensive coordinator John Shoop, who has discussed the Oakland Raiders' head-coaching vacancy with owner Al Davis, is under consideration to return to the coordinator's role under Dick Jauron in Buffalo.
"I love John and think he is an excellent coach," Jauron said. "I talked to John on the phone about a number of things, but he's pretty set out there, very happy."
Shoop is the Raiders' quarterbacks coach and his wife, Marcia, is minister of a congregation in Oakland.
"I know John so well and have talked so much football with him," Jauron said. "He's got a great mind and is so driven to be good at what he does, and he is very interested in what you know. I can only imagine that conversation [with Davis] because I bet John asked a lot of questions as well because Al is a great football mind.
"After that interview, he said it was a great experience."
Jauron did hire Bears secondary coach Perry Fewell to be his defensive coordinator.
"I have a relationship with Perry from Jacksonville, and I've watched him develop and think very highly of him," Jauron said. "Very smart guy, high-energy, very honest guy, doesn't panic and is a hard worker. I'm really excited about being back together with him."

I question Holmgren's decision to go for the 50 yarder in that situation. The way the Pittsburgh offense was playing at that point, I think it would have been wiser to back em up rather than give them the ball back near midfield on a kick with about a 25-75 chance of being made.

Bad calls or not...the Seahawks didn't DESERVE this game. Jeremy Stevens played timidly and soft (just as Jerry Porter predicted). The Seahawks gave up the longest TD run in SB history. Their D surrendered two first downs with six minutes left. They botched four scoring opportunities that could have provided them 12 points. The refs weren't doing them any favors, but they didn't shut the door on them.
Agreed. Holmgen called a piss poor game. Pittsburgh was no great shakes, but the Randel El pass was a thing of beauty.

Yeah. Let's pretend we know what's we're talking about, too. He was acquitted in less than an hour by the jury.

Couldn't the arugment be made that Moon didn't have the surrounding talent that TT had and succeded anyway?
I'm not hung up on this "first year" argument as much as some seem to be. He's a lock for next year and a decade from now, who outside of Buffalo will remember whether he made it in his first or second year of eligibility?

The Sabres are built for the new NHL. Under the old rules, they probably would be battling to make the playoffs.
That said, Darcy knew the rule changes were coming and kept guys like Connolly, Campbell and Afinogenov who are thriving in a more wide open style of play. And Miller gives them the big edge in mental toughness that Biron has lacked over the years. They sure are fun to watch.

Getting in next year will be kind of symbolic, given TT's draft history. I wonder if that thought might've even crossed the minds of a few electors?
When did this board get so bitter?

Ah, the old 80-20 rule. Or is that Bell Curve?
