I don't know about him but I like mixing it up. 6 months of bugs, humidity, and heat are enough for me and they are far more mild than Florida.

The fall months are the most refreshing time of the year to me. I wouldn't give that up.

Listen, the heat sucks… you never get used to it just have to deal with it. But from December to April it’s incredible. Good with the bad.

Love Going to South Florida once, maybe twice between January and March. Outside of that, terrible. I don't know how those people can live there in the Summer.

The same you you live in the freezing cold. Just deal with it. Been here 35 years. Buffalo is always home but golf, fishing, the ocean is awesome year round

Ticketmaster with 3 in 214 row 3 at $526 per after fees right now.....

I’ve heard the heat doesn’t reach row 3. Some folks mentioned Row 7 and back…

I haven’t followed along, so this may be out of context, but don’t let the upper bowl scare you. I used to be a “ticket snob” as we grew up with good seats. When I went back I figured the ticket was just one drop in the travel bucket, so go all out - it’s the reason you are there.

A few years back I spent a game in the upper deck and the views were great. I hope they are equally good in the next stadium……downtown under the dome.

Is that an automatic ban for mentioning that at this point?

Hey bud, it’s more for my son. Trying to stay out of the elements if I can. If it was just me then I would already have 100 or 300 level tickets.

Bingo. I would assume a minimum of $500 per in the club seats, higher if you want them under the heater. And that waiting till Friday night before game.

Try about double that, with taxes and fees $952. This is for section 214 Row 10. I love my kid but that's a $3000 nut before I buy a beer, need 3 seats.

No! Endzone 200 level is not heated. You want 206-216 and on the other side 229-232 or 235-238. As others have said row 7 or higher gets the effects of the heating lamps and the club bar area is nice and toasty for in between quarters or halftime. Prepare for sticker shock as many others have the same idea.

Thanks, really helpful. This will ease the wife's concerns a little bit.

An old school tip from my Rockpile days, put on a pair of thin socks, then slip your feet into bread bags (take out the bread first) then a pair of thick socks then your shoes/boots. Guaranteed to keep your feet warm through the fourth quarter.

    or

you can get yourself some of those new-fangled fancy pantsy electric socks.

I have heard of the plastic bag trick, sheer genius.

As mentioned, Club seats , but has to be row 7 and back to really feel any of the effects of the heaters. But as a bonus, the club itself is warm so can always go in there and warm up, which is not an option anywhere else in stadium.

Look on a map and try to find a lot on Southwestern near California. @mrags can tell you more about this. 6 is cutting it really damn close. You prolly want to leave before end of game in a close game.

Thanks, for clarity all 200 Level is the Club correct? I have only sat in 300's.

Club level seat and you will be under the heated area.  Seats aren't heated but they have the heaters from above in those sections.  It will still be cold if there is any type of wind over 5mph (and I would guess there likely is going to be).  Hand and feet (like big turk said) are where you need to worry about.  I always wear 2 or 3 pair of thick socks and still have numbness after the game is over when it gets cold enough.

Thanks Wiz, this sounds more and more like I need to take him in September/October. 😗

Make sure you have hunter heat packs for your shoes and gloves.  The cold you feel in your feet from that concrete is so bad that you can't think about anything between plays other than how cold your feet are otherwise. And that is with wearing double pairs of wool socks. Doesn't matter...went to plenty of games like that prior to finding out the joys of those heat packs. They are amazing and basically make this not even a concern.

With weather being 38 and sunny with no wind, you should be good to go other than that.  The sun makes it feel a lot warmer than it is even when its cold.

Thanks Turk, I will look into the warmers for sure. We have insulated socks but it's always the hands and feet that feel it the most. I got a feeling this will be a night game with the direction both teams are headed, so the sun will probably not be a factor.

  9. Instead of starting a new thread I figured I would piggy-back off my Canadian friend here. My 10-year-old son is begging for me to take him to the Bills/Fins game, he's a South FLA kid and doesn't know the cold other than a few trips to Buffalo here and there.

My questions are more along the lines of where to sit to try and lessen the effects of the elements if that's possible. My cousin keeps mentioning heated seats in the stadium (no clue what section) and seeing the weather is going to be low 30s but subject to change what are the best layering options for hands and feet?  I have warned him it's going to be miserable cold, and we aren't flying from FLA, buying Tix and so forth to leave at half time. He says he wants to go... any advice is welcomed.

    Thanks Tony

  10. As a guy who had the same injury 3 times and had it scoped all 3 this is something he can most certainly come back from. I am no Von Miller by any means but tore mine sophomore year in the second to last reg season game. Hurt like hell but once swelling went down I taped my leg in a basic cast before every game (was a center) and played through to the playoffs, roughly 4 games more. Got it cleaned and was right as rain after a month.

The next 2 times I was playing softball and flag football....real hero stuff. Know your limits in your 30s.

Granted this guy is a different beast and with the help of a great recovery team he will be brand new.

  11. This stinks, hopefully we catch wind sooner of the date and time. Trying to surprise Junior with his first trip to the Ralph. This uncertainty is making it harder to book flights. On a side bar, possibly looking for 4 tickets to the game. I created a post on the community site but figure more folks venture out here.  Thanks.

So I had a herniated disk in my back, had surgery and was full go in 3 months.  I did think it was a bit odd he was out for the entire year but a neck be more susceptible or they make take longer to heal...not sure there.  But it would be huge if he could return.

Do you run into other humans over and over at a high speed at your day job?

  13. Reminds me of the horrific call an umpire made last year against the Bengals in the Jets game. DB came up to stop the run made a great play to force a 4th down and the ref threw the flag for lowering his head… was a textbook tackle. The same ref has apparently made these bad calls in the past. Wonder if it’s the same

    guy.
