  1. we play "not to lose"...and it will mean we end up losing. GET SOME FREAKING BALL SACK...and i dont jsut mean the QB! coaches and players are softer than Anderson's custard.
  2. this team is taking on the personality of the head coach. slow and methodical...not working. Jauron- late to throw the red flag, failure to at least kick the damn field goal. cant win by punting DICK.
  3. We obviously have receivers covered deeper-as we get very few long pass route completions (not talking about yards after the catch)...but the constant "ramming the run" seems useless. Never any holes to break though. At least pitching the ball out to Lynch and Jackson gives them some field of vision to use- as opposed to viewing some lineman's fat ass. Let these guys get defenders 1-1 on the outside! Any decent success forces safeties up and gets our receivers 1-1 coverage. Why is the wildcat working? these 220 pound guys have a head of steam and a couple more yards in front of them to make a move! Without a running game- we are destined to let Trent keep getting sacked. 5 Times today? We are going backwards here. Lets get the freaking predicitbility out of the playcalling!
  4. its hard to take this "sports station" seriously when their morning guy admits he does not follow the game and the sidekick sits up in the top level of the stadium with binocs. hacks
  5. both pretty good. think Beast may have the better.
  6. We've all heard the expression, "if you can't beat em', join 'em.". WGR uses the opposite philosophy..."If you can't join 'em (they do't have the Buffalo Bills rights for their station), beat (on) 'em". It looks like THEY get BEAT in the ratings by pretty much everyone-including a station in Canada by 50%. http://www.radioandrecords.com/RRRatings/D...0%20AM&CE=0 In radio terms, that looks like a "QB rating" of about a 9!
  7. This is perhaps the funniest thread I have ever read on TBD...much less the Internet. The only thing funnier would be if they had video of her waddling across the road and running smack dab into Marshawn's porsche on route to last call at Elmwood Taco and Subs.
  8. Kudos to the 97 Rock team for "backing the Bills". This station is what being a "Buffalonian" is all about. They know Buffalo, the support their team and their players. This is why they are #1 in the market- and have been for 30 years. This is great stuff. Thanks for the link.
  9. Hidden in all of this is the reason why the Patriots would not pay to keep key players and pay them huge premiums- and conversely why they were willing to pick up cast offs from other places. Their "system" was more important than the athletes themselves. they knew they had unfair advantages that likely even their own players were possbily unware of the full extent. I am sure they all thought it was hilarious to pass off high priced guys like Bledsoe, Adams, and Milloy to the Bills. The insiders- including fat Charlie and Mangini are also exposed in their new positions w/o these advantages. They likely saw this coming and left-as the option of the lesser of two evils...get exposed, or get out-take a huge pay jump- and risk failure. Kraft himself is no stranger to deception. He's the guy that held the press conference announcing the Pats moving to Connecticut early this decade. 2008 will be the beginning of the slide for this arrogant team. Everyone on the opposite side is waiting and ready to stuff it right back at them. Humble pie? You got it.
  10. Exactly. Sweet deal for WGR. Howard and Jeremy run the commercial 6 times an hour and they each get matching '81 Pinto's to drive to and from work.
  11. Nice to see Jon get that long snap right where it needed to be. Way to go Magic Man!
  12. "London Plays hard but must of his tackles are in persuit, he had a good year with 4 picks, but he rarely ever stuffs a play at or behind the line of srimmage." This is a complete oxymoron statement. The Bills play the Cover 2 and Fletch's job is to drop back on passes and to contain the running back on runs. We have an interior D line that runners busted through all year long, injured or inexperienced outside LBs, young corners and Dbacks...and his job is to "stay home" and not over-pursue in our cover two scheme. He very rarely had runners shake him off, easily led the defense in stopping runs on impact, and showed he was quick enough to deflect passes, intercept balls, and jump on fumbles. I agree with the writer that talked about "plugging holes" while letting more holes open up...I would be more concerned about Spikes and Crowell getting healthy around the ILB position before I would even think about parting ways with London. His emotion is showing his desire to stay- and probably his frustration with Rosenhaus not giving a crap about where London lands- knowing that some team will pay- and his superagent turning his attention to #21.
  13. "Last year there was a big cry when Milloy and Adams were sent packing along with Eric Moulds. Also, sent was Troy Vincent." There's a HUGE difference between the above players and Fletcher. Especially Moulds and Adams. I will never forget fat Sam walking off the field as Bledsoe was in the middle of getting sacked. Moulds sulking off the field during the Miami game because Evans got three first quarter TD's and he had (boo hoo) none. If there were people crying when these four left- they were tears of joy for me. 4 guys who ALWAYS who rated themselves a full two grades over the right grade. Fletcher is a player of heart and guts. All this crap about "worn down" and "tackles 5 yards downfield" is bunk. I would root for team with guys like Fletcher every time. London has more tackles in the last 7 years than ANYONE in the NFL...and all that garbage about tackles being a "meaningless stat" is ridiculous. He has done it here and he did it in STL. If he goes...he goes- but I sure appreciated those 20 tackles in KC win in 05, knocking Frerotte out with a safety, the 21 tackles against the Jets in 04...and those 2 TD's this year...and all those tackles. Last thing...the team is getting better in part because of parting ways with players of lousy character. Bills fans know that Marv seeks that. Fletcher is one of the good guys. Intrinsic leadership value in this league is hard to put a price tag on because teams rarely will pay for it. It's too bad because I think there are a lot of fans who really, really like players who "just play football".
  14. Mcgahee does show flashes of being very good...but the guy is the most feeble blocker I have ever seen. It is pathetic to see that half hearted effort. I would take chances with others that are more versatile. With our receivers- it makes sense.
  15. Bet he acted like this every time he just missed a wide open receiver.... http://www.uselessjunk.com/article_full.php?id=13436
  16. Why would ANYONE listen to that show when the post game show is on 97 Rock and Edge? Coaches and player inteviews live from the locker room verus those a$$ scratching whining cry babies.
  17. Not sure if they showed it on tv, but they had 4 skydivers land onto the field before the game-after the national anthem. With the swirling winds at the Ralph, it was REALLY someting to see. I think every person there was wondering if those people could even land inside the stadium. Big props to the one skydiver who had artificial legs. You stole the show.
  18. Here's the NFL site...it's the highlights. Gotta love that they use the radio announcers...not the TV network! http://nfl.com/video/2006/11 (click on the Bills icon on the right)
  19. amen to that. Felt like today might be a sign of a turning point for this team. For JP- congrats...you WON that game. For all the fans that continued to support Losman...you were rewarded today.
  20. It's about time Fletcher gets some support for his FIRST PRO BOWL. He's been a rock in the league for almost 10 years, and deserves the nod. This year he's added two TD's and is still on par to be in the top 5 for tackles in the league...and I believe no one has had more tackles over the past 7 years. His D3 college means there are few "alums" in the NFL to support him...it's up to Bills fans! Let's get him some attention early! http://www.nfl.com/probowl/ballot
  21. Those two fat clowns should stick to what they know best: parking their fat rears at car dealers every two days broadcasting about "wines of the week" and some martial arts place that one of them sends his kid to for free in exhange for pimping it. Losman is a hell of an athlete and will turn out to be a very good quarterback for us.
  22. Hope they got a few goods cracks on that sad s.o.b. before they took him into custody...real good cracks.
  23. This guy is-and always has been a complete waste of life. I hope they string this guy on the roof of car like a ten point buck. Tell everyone you know that has a buisness to donate something-anything to the reward. Sooner or later...and it will be sooner...this guy is going down. www.findbucky.com
