Schopp talks Bills in the same manner that one might discuss, say, constipation. There is no media personality, even on the national level, that goes to the extremes Schopp does in dismissing ANYTHING of a positive nature with the Bills and especially Josh Allen whom he despises. Schopp, that insufferable douch bag, used to have ex-QB now fine analyst Dan Orlovsky on the program regularly when Dan was down on Josh Allen. Now, Orlovsky is praising Allen and the douche bag is dismissing it with the notion that "nothing in preseason means anything" and no assessment is possible.
With deepest apologies to all the haters, Debbie Downers, and the like, it must be said that Allen is meeting the eyeball test this meaningless preseason. It's OK to be optimistic, it really is.
Mike Schopp, please bottle the Bills acid and STFU. And Bulldog, grow a pair and stand up to this idiot once in a while.
I'm not Mike's biggest fan but I'm not sure how accurate most of this is. Quite honestly, what have the Bills done to give anyone in Buffalo hope that they finally have it right.
I was upset when they drafted Allen, much like many fans, as there were red flags. He's won me over quite a bit but I'm not fully sold yet. Until Josh performs like an NFL quarterback on Sindays, there is room for criticism.
Schopp is a weird dude. He prefers drafts and trades to games. He prefers tennis to football. He hates most things that have anything to do with what we enjoy. It makes for a strange dynamic when listening to his show. That being said, he's a solid professional on air personality that keeps the show moving.

I highly recommend "The Boys" on Amazon. It's funny and very good. You will get a kick out of it. I'm on ep 7 with 1 more to go. So good I almost completed watching the whole season yesterday. Would have if the Bills game didn't come on of course.
Karl Urban absolutely steals the show.

Just signed up for the free trial last night; so far it's pretty good.No NFLN so that maybe an issue, but the menus are easy to navigate around and the picture quality is pretty damn good. Going to try PS Vue when the trial is up and might try Hulu live after that.
Only con is that it took a little bit to figure how to navigate when you are watching TV or a movie and pull the guide up; took a little bit to figure what to do to get back to the show that was playing in the background....
I got a 5 year old, just found out YouTube TV doesn't have Nickelodeon, so that's a show stopper. Gotta figure something out by hockey season.

Anyone have YouTube TV? Thinking about getting it. Love to hear any pros or cons.

Local? Please tell me he wasn't named after Dick Jarron.
Well Dick spells it Jauron and he coached the Bills two seasons after Jarron was born. Also guessing no one has named anything after Jauron unless you are referring to a bland malaise of nothingness that was his personality.
"Man that presentation was totally Jauron. At least that doosh Pete goes full Gregg and uses a bullhorn for his power points."

Eastside rules! Unless you are referring to East Rochester or Irondequoit, those were slices of the west side that drifted over to the east. We'll take Spencerport though!

Well-written. Astro's wit connects in this one.
Especially for the over 50 crowd with the Rockettes reference and possibly the "Ain't too proud to beg" reference if it was the Temptations and not TLC.

Yea we were the favorites and #1 for a good amount of the season
I like buddy but he is nowhere near the talent or scrappiness of Devendorf
He got into players and coaches heads like I've never seen before
He was more hated than Grayson Allen in his SR season
I certainly wasn't making the comparison of talent, nor does one word in my post reflect that.

Oh man. That was a year we could have won it all. Blake Griffin tooled on us...
Totally 100% disagree. Love his intensity. He’s also very likeable if you follow closely what he does in the community. I’ve hung around him a couple times at Cuse functions. Great, great dude.
Yeah I'm only basing it off of his on court personality. Dude just doesn't stop yapping.
3 minutes ago, Buffalo716 said:I love him so I will say yes there have been worse
He is the guy EVERY TEAM HATES because he is Scrappy on and off the court and The guy EVERY COACH WANTS because he's a real basketball players
Buddy Boeheim and Marek Dolezaj are "Scrappy" too, I don't get the same vibe watching them. To each their own I guess.

God I still dislike Devendorf. He's just the opposite of charasmatic.
Has there been a more unlikeable SU star?

Yep, people laugh about punter talk until you got one that can't kick.
It's an important part of the game.
Not according to Mike Schopp

Weak class?
Brycen Goodine is a top 100 player and stud..
Joe Girard is going to be Jerry McNamara. He’s legitimate.
Quincey Guerrier is going to replace Brissett and is better offensively when they both were coming in. He might be the best kid in SUs class
Jessie Edwards has only been in the US for 8 months and is a total unknown but rising recruiting ranks. They hit with Dolezaj overseas
Your optimism is infectious. I feel better about them.

Jaden never coming to SU
Look at the recruits on SU boards through 20 and 21
lots of studs
Is Hopkins a great recruiter? Yes
is Boeheim a great recruiter? Yes tho not what he once was
can SU get a coach of that level when Boeheim retires? Absolutely
Hopkins isn’t coach K... he isn’t Jimmy B
Agree
My reaction was more along the lines of Hop getting two 5 star recruits while Cuse has a pretty weak class coming in.
-
This is disheartening
Cuse seems to be heading in the opposite direction. It makes you wonder how it would be if Hopkins was given the reigns he was promised.

Doug Whaley sure nailed that draft.
I guess since I have no idea who the last 3 names are, point taken. Has it been definitely decided it was Doug's draft and not Wrecks.

Kiper has had a pants tent for Allen since he declared for the draft last season. He believed in him before most of us here did. Love it.

Brandon Reilly
And now David Sills
The love affair with UDFA's is so comical.
All the while the Bills have a REAL UDDA WR who worked his butt to make the team (Robert Foster) and you hear crickets with Foster. Foster is light years more talented than any of these guys and yet everyone wants to replace him.
Nice.
I can't speak for anyone other than myself but I'd like to supplement Foster not supplant. Zay Jones on the other hand, hopefully nothing tragic happens when he''s cut.

Buffalo Bills will be losing NFL-caliber talent at running back this week

Well no NFL team is trading anything for a guy who has struggled to make an NFL roster throughout his career.
