    Two words: SCOUTING and COACHING. P-Fool coaches his system, but he doesn't have the right players to succeed with it. That's not to say his defense is talentless, because it is not. They just can't play his Tampa -2 style.

     

    Number one, you need a stud MLB and a stud strong safety - Poz looks good, but is injured every year. Whitner is a bust at strong safety. Next, you better have D-Lineman that can shoot their gaps and pressure the QB and shut down the run in the back field at least some of the time. Williams and Stroud seem to be jelling nicley together, but they are simply not good enough without better support from MLB and strong safety. Finally, you are supposed to have at least one if not two great pass rushing DE's since the OLB'ers are used more in pass coverage then blitzing like in the 3-4. Chris Kelsay and Aaron Schobel? :worthy::thumbsup: Finally, you need CB's that can hit and play great zone defense at the same time. It looks like the Bills CB's have a ton of talent, and this kid Byrd could be one of the steals of the draft at FS. Unfortunately, none of them support the run game worth a buffalo chip. In addition, against good QB's, they tend to get burned in their zone coverages, especially on third downs.

     

    So you add all of that up, and we come back to the same conclusion. Ralph needs to blow the whole thing up again. He needs better coaches working with better college and pro scouts, that is, working together to bring the right players in for the right systems!

    Playing not to lose will net you 0 to 7 wins a season depending on how serious the opposing team takes you. Clearly the Jets played down to our level today and Dick schooled them.

     

    LMAO!! Classic...yep, this is a game that we had to win to get to 7-9...had we lost, maybe we finally implode.

    Now, Fitz gets us going on a little streak and we finish with 6 or 7 wins....and DICK is BACK!! Noooooooooo......

    I want the Bills to lose to the Browns.

    I got no problem with them losing if it REALLY means Jauron is out the door. I am worried that they could lose AND jAuron sticks around. Two things HAVE to happen for me to see this as a successful season - Jauron is gone and Edwards somehow proves he is a legit starter for this team. Everything else will take care of itself if those two things happen.

     

    How about Edwards goes 30-35 with 4 tds and 375 yards against the Browns but they lose because Jauron mishandles the clock in the end. Hello Edwards - goodbye Dick!!! happy happy Joy. The team is revived and upsets the Jets to go on a 5 game win streak.

     

    That would be fantastic, but so would me and Magan Fox having sex...it's not gonna happen... :flirt:

    Sorry but I agree with the 1st post, the absolute worst thing that can happen here is the Bills win and get on a mini-roll. Next thing you know we're looking at 7-9 again and more DICK. Either we WIN this season (which looks very un-likely), OR we need to seriously TANK (Miami game was a good start)!! DICK has finally lost the team, it was evident last week. At least the players used to fight for his lame ass.....they're not fighting anymore. I've NEVER rooted against the Bills and I'll probably be sitting there like a retard against the Browns cheering them on, BUT the BEST thing long term for this team is to have an EPIC collapse....and CLEAN HOUSE!! This will only happen if the Bills finish as a 2 or 3 win team, that's just the way Ralph rolls.......
