  1. half a season in? really?

Actually, it is too early...but I'm in a bad mood. I think McKelvin will turn out pretty good.

Hardy is pissing me off, playing like a girl....letting tiny DB's out-jump and out-fight him for the ball !! Come-On!!!!

Ellis....haven't even noticed him on the field...nuff said......

  2. That's the key. Fix the problems, and then I'm sure we'll see some improvement. I'm not in the best of moods after watching this team implode yet again, but I do remain hopeful that they'll turn things 'round.

It would cure allot, and could really turn the season back around...BUT, I personally think they are gonna get destroyed!!

God, I hope I'm wrong, but I have no confidence that they can go in there and beat them....and the Bills  can't have much either....

  3. Unless something changes, Cassel will have a field day throwing quick slants to Welker and Moss....screen passes to Faulk or the tight end.

This could be a massacre! You've got the BEST quick-short passing team agains the WORST team at defending it !!

I have never had LESS confidence going into a game, than I do for this one. The place has already been a house of horrors for us & now we go in there with little confidence....

  4. The day Marv Levy and Wade Phillips left the building.....Since those guys have left, we have absolutely had no pass rush, unable to run the ball consistently and make the big plays when it matters.

Why did we stop attacking on D after the first couple of drives?? We were getting great pressure on Brett, then we went right back to that soft-ass zone that CAN'T stop the short passing game!!

  5. Stop for a bit, and ask yourself how many of the players on those kick-coverage squads made their teams' 53-man rosters.

Then consider the shakeup in the blocking both for McKelvin and for McGee, who averaged a pedestrian 20.7 yards per return before the switch was made.

No, McKelvin hasn't exactly looked scintillating so far. Some of that's on him, some of it's not. Overall, as pointed out above, a 23.8-yard average isn't bad ...

McKelvin is going to break one this year no doubt about it...He was really close on one during the Miami game, and he's had a few others during the season, where he's just needed one more block. He has been hesitant a bunhc of times as well, and he ends up just running into a pile. Dude has great top-end speed, not really quick...but he gets to that top-end speed really fast!! :wallbash:

  6. Nothing was wrong with Kyle Williams, but I do believe Stroud sat out a bunch and went down briefly.

I think a better question is how do you go from being deemed physically unfit by the Colts to not only playing for the Bills, but seeing your most work in a while?

Yeah, but this was early in the game & he was lined up with Stroud...I don't remember how many plays, but seemed like he was in there quite a bit. The entire defensive/package-gameplan had me scratching my head. Though I have to admit, chad scott is impressing me at SS.

  7. :( Relax, completely tongue-in-cheek.....but:

1 11 Leodis McKelvin DB - not ready at CB, not good at his supposed super-talent (KR)

2 41 James Hardy WR - timid, raw, lost

3 72 Chris Ellis DE - can't get ticks on ineffective, injured DL

4 114 Reggie Corner DB - Inactive? Thought he was better than McKelvin in preaseason?

4 132 Derek Fine TE - Injured, now back

5 147 Alvin Bowen LB - Injured, not coming back

    6 179 Xavier Omon RB - Inactive?

    7 219 Demetrius Bell T - @sshole father

    7 224 Steve Johnson WR - Hit-n-run, blamed Marshawn

    7 251 Kennard Cox DB - Didn't make it

Pretty much agree, McKelvin looked GREAT in pre-season returning kicks...what happened??

Hardy, I think...will come around, the dude has fantastic size, he just needs to get a mean streak..I agree with the timid statement. Corner looked really good in pre-season, as did Steve Johnson I thought. Too early still, but I'm concerned....

  8. What's wrong with his foot and what's the timeline for his return?? This guy was one of the biggest

surprises of the year early on with his outstanding play. I've heard virtually nothing concerning his injury,

and we REALLY need him back for our struggling secondary!!

  9. If Youboty is so sold, please explain how Greer, who was NOT a relatively high draft pick, was able to pass him on the depth chart. How Kilwaukee Thomas, who was cut, was before him? Just because you saw a game once and Youboty made a tackle does not win your argument.

I'm still holding out hope on youboty, that pick of McNabb in the last game was very impressive and showed off the talent that the dude has.

This is for sure his make or break year though I think. It's too early to label him I think...

I think McCargo could explode this year being lined up next to Stroud. I don't understand Triplett starting over him at end of year either. Unless they were trying to really evaluate Trip, to see if they were gonna keep him or not. Obviously he FAILED the evaluation!!!

  10. I know when he was filling in for Spikes he looked good, and then injuries and Spikes put him back to the bench.  The guy can flat out play though.  Looks like a great late round pick for the Bills.  Very fast to the ball and attacks the ball carrier.  I really liked what I saw yesterday.

I agree, i noticed him making plays yesterday. I think he may be a steal. On a strange side note...I thought he was a white dude, but he's light-skinned black guy.

Did he where a dark visor before?

  11. My grandfather, rest his soul, was HILARIOUS to watch Bills games with.  First play of the game, Cribbs/Greg Bell/Thurman/Antowain/Henry/Willis/pick any Bills RB would run into the line for no gain.  Grandpa: "Jesus Christ!  We can't run the ball worth a schit!"

He actually predicted last year when the Bills were up 24-3 in Miami that the Bills would lose the game.  "They want to pass too much" he said.  I told that crazy old bastard to pipe down, they're completing passes all over the field.  That was the last game I watched with him, and I'll be damned if that crazy old bastard wasn't right.

Dude that is freakn hilarious!! I had a grandmother, rest her soul, that was exactly the same way. She'd start bitchin after the first play!! But God, did she love the Bills!!
