  1. Do you forget DJ's first game agains the Patriots*?

He nearly won the game... just a play away... and that was in Foxboro.

With that said, I think there is an unsaid and subconscious intimidation of the Patriots*. The Bills, in their heart of hearts, just don't believe they can beat that team. I hope that changes this December!

I totally agree, the Pats just have a HUGE MENTAL EDGE on the Bills after kicking their tails for so many years. I remember that first game in Foxboro (a game they shoulda won!). And if you remember, they were up and Jauron WENT FOR THE KILL by going for it on 4th down (McGahee got stuffed of course). BUT, my point is HE PLAYED TO WIN, 2 years later....he punts TWICE FROM THE PATRIOTS 40 YARD LINE.....

  2. I was thinking the whole game that DJ coaches scared. His even keel has sent us straight to the bottom of the division.

Yeah his "even keel" is great when you're losing and things are going bad (like NOW), but he actually looked lost when they

were winning, like he didn't know what to do or how to act!! At least he's back in his comfort zone now....

  3. This is exactly the same Jauron that we had here in Chicago. You're not going to see/hear what you're looking for from him.

Don't forget his "poster board" material he used before the Pats game "The Division is wide-open" Huh? WTF??

How the hell is that supposed to FIRE UP THE TROOPS for a season-changing game?? Ridiculous and Sad! And to think

I was singing this guy's praise a month ago.....

  4. ya there was one series of plays yesterday where we ran 3 times in a row!! resulting in a 1st down then 5 yards on the 1st down making it second and 5 .... then guess what........... pass, sack, bye bye drive. Turd Shonert really has the IQ of a tangerine and Jauron has the IQ of a plum. so we r pretty screwed fans, get ready for the offseason and hope Jauron decides to open up that funeral home he looks like he should be running.

Exactly! I woulda been happy if they woulda just ran the ball every play that series & see what happens......cause the pass WAS NOT!!

  5. Edwards is the real deal. He's had a few bad games lately, but he spoiled us with his gooey goodness early on. I'd be more inclined to get excited about the future of the offense if the o-line was worth half of what we paid for it.

I still think he's going to be a good one....BUT, he has lost his confidence...

He had a swagger early, but now it's gone....why does this happen to every Bills QB since Flutie?????

  6. Turk seems to have turned into the anti-Fairchild.

Instead of the pass being the red-headed stepchild, now it's the run.

With colder weather in Buffalo, and Monday night next week probably near freezing, it's gonna be a treat watching the WRs try to catch with frozen hands. This reason is why Buffalo was always run-first, smash-mouth, we know you know what's coming and we're going to run it all over your a--es anyway. We're not the team we need to be.

    AGREE 100% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Why no deep drops? Why no roll outs?

Trent has lost his confidence, he had a swagger about him early in season....IT"S GONE.

The play-calling has been horrid the last 3 games, we're too pass-happy, we have to RUN THE BALL!

Until Lynch gets 25 carries a game (regardless if it's working or not) we will continue to LOSE>>>>>>>>

  8. First, Dick Jauron...

    - How do you punt TWICE from the Pats 40-yard line, nice show of confidence for your Offense?

    - How do you not MAKE SURE the refs see your red flag on the challenge?

    - How do you BLOW the timeout situation at the end of 1st half?

    - how, for your motivational tactic you tell your team "The East is wide-open"....Wow, that really fired em up!!

how about, "look guys, this team has whipped our Ass for the last 8 years, this is OUR time, let's KICK THEIR ASS!!"

    Second, Turk Schonert...

    - Why on multiple 3rd and shorts, do you PASS PASS PASS??

    - Even worse, a couple times you don't even put a RB in the backfield!!!!!

    - Why, after we FINALLY get something going with Marshawn hitting "beast mode", you go right back to PASS PASS PASS??!!

    - Why do you have the balls to throw a fade to Hardy in garbage time BUT NOT earlier with the game on the line??!!

    - You have the SAME problem as the Cowboy offense, you're too pass happy and are wasting a hungry RB!!!

    Thoughts????

  9. Just a prediction but just watch and see how well RG plays this weekend....

The fact is that Chambers has so far outplayed Jason Peters who is supposed to be our best linemen.....and you always try to get your best players on the field....

Chambers also has more in the wallet as Whittle is undersized and now just play bad. This is probably a upgrade to the postiion

I agree, I like Chambers allot, he played fantastic at LT while Peters was holding out. I hope he plays!!

  10. I didn't see him play, either, but it sounded like a pretty decent performance.

Not bad for his first game in front of his home crowd, so let's see what he can do on a Monday night in front of a rockin' Ralph.

Hopefully, the Ralph scares the pee out of him like we did Romo last year!! :nana:

  11. This weekend will be a true test of this teams resilliance this Sunday in Foxboro. This is a game that will show us just exactly if this squad is the future of the Bills or just another group of guys that couldn't get it done. Do I billieve Trent Edwards is the real deal, yes...is he if we don't win on Sunday...NO!

I'm tired of losing to the Patriots, year after damn year. Our team is good, and they need to go into the Pats game Sunday with the belief that they are NOT inferior to them. We were 5-1! Doesn't matter how, or who we beat, or how we won...we WE'RE 5-1. Buffalo needs to play with a chip on its shoulder this weekend. This game will define the rest of the season. Doesn't matter if we beat Cleveland, San Francisco, Kansas City or any other bottom dwelling team. We haven't beaten anyone with a winning record YET!

I've never guaranteed ANYTHING ever as a Bills fan...but I am Guaran-DAMN-teeing a victory for us. A good team rises above all the injuries, trap-games, etc. Just look at the very team we're playing against this Sunday. They lost their franchise Quarterback for the year, pretty much any RB's with experience, and their all-pro (cheap-shot artist) safety. Their 5-3. So what if we're 0-2 in the division, we still have the opportunity to finish 4-2. This team needs to stop making excuses, and start playing with some attitude, DAMN IT! BUFFALO-27; NEW ENGLAND 17

I agree! This is THE game to prove if we're legit. Whip the patsies in front of their arrogant-ass fans LIKE MIAMI DID!

They have OWNED us for years! THIS IS THE GAME to prove to me that this team is different this year. I don't have allot of

confidence that they will do it, but i HOPE they do. If they go in there and get beat down like always, you can pretty much start saying "maybe next year"..........

  12. That's what it's going to take no question...Problem is The Bills have looked REAL normal their last 2 road Games and NE plays MUCH better at Home...

I think this one is a long, long shot to be honest...I think we'll be more competative than we have been there in the past purely because Brady is out and Trent is better than most QB's we've sent up there to the slaughter...But in the end I think this Team takes the even keel approach of their HC...That likely means they come out with less than enough fire in order to actually WIN in a REAL hostile enviroment with 1st Place in The AFC East on the line...

Good God I hope I'm wrong...But I just don't see this team being blood-and-guts enough to Win a Road Game like this against a decent team who LOVES to play physical at Home...It's going to take this young Bills teams' best effort to date...We'll see...

EXTREME long shot! That's the problem, I don't think they're tough enough. I thought after the Jags/Rams road wins that this team was turning the corner...BUT the last 2 road games they've kinda went back to their old ways. They can beat the bad teams can't beat the good teams.....I will say this....if they win, it will possibly volt them into the playoffs...if they lose, it will probably volt them into 7-9 AGAIN...

  13. http://www.nfl.com/players/mattcassel/profile?id=CAS541133

Color me not convinced. Plus, I'm going to game and I have a lifetime record of 11-2 going to Bills games.

LOL!, Yeah, as long as Brady is out we have a chance. We have to attack Cassel, I noticed even in the games

the Pats were winning he was getting sacked like 5 or 6 times a game. I think their O-line pass protection is suspect, od f course the Bills have no pass rush, so I guess it's a wash...where was I going with this??? :(

  14. We can win this game the same way that AZ beat us. We're going in with our backs to the wall in a must win situation. If we come out swinging, and play the whole game that way, we can get a win. If we come out strong and then back off, we'll get blown out.

Well, the one thing that gives me hope is this is Trent's first full game against them. I think

Belicheat found it fairly easy to confuse Losman. I know one thing, we HAVE TO RUN THE BALL & take

some of the pressure off of Edwards. God, do I hate the Pats and their arrogant-ass fans.....

  15. ... thinks we have a snowball's chance in hell of beating the Pats?

They've never won in Gillette stadium.

They've lost like the last 13 out of 14 against them.

The Bills are on a downward spiral.

The Bills have ZERo running game.

The Bills have no second receiver.

Bills will have no Scobel AND no Whitner.

Pats have the mental edge (after dominating us for years)

Pats are the more physical team, Bills look soft as a marshmallow.

I'll be pulling for them as always, but this has MASSACRE written all over it.

Somebody give me some reasons we can win this thing...please......
