Not gonna happen!
Like Bill Parcell said, "You are what you are"
To all of the Bills fans that continue to candy coat the Bills situation:
We're not going anywhere as an organization until Ralph Wilson gets off his wallet.
-
Coles isn't signing with the Bills because the team isn't paying him 6 million per season (his asking price).
Coles just used the Bills as a bargaining chip for his real targets in Florida = the Fins or the Bucs.

What are we doing. We cut Dockery and Royal, free up even more cap space that the astronomical amount that we are currently under the cap, and the only news we get today is about Laverneus Coles, Fitzpatrick, and an injured Kendall Simmons. No Birk, Saturday, Housh, Jason Brown, nothing. What are we gonna spend this money on. I for one, was excited for the start of free agency, but I fear we won't do much of anything. I know it's early, but we hanve't even been mentioned as a rumor. The Jets get Bart SCott, the Dolphins get Gibril Wilson, Crowder and maybe Brown, the Pats get Fred Taylor. WHAT ARE WE DOING???
WE'RE GUNNING FOR THE FIRST OVERALL PICK IN THE 2010 DRAFT!

Even though Ray Lewis is past his prime, he would change the culture of this Bills team. He'd probably be a two year fix, but as the saying goes "Beggars can't be choosers".
I'd move Poz over to OLB where he belongs and go from there.

Don't be surprised if the Buffalo Bills are major players in the Jason Brown sweepstakes. Destite reports that the Dolphins, Chiefs and Rams are the frontrunners for the Ravens free agent center/guard, the Bills have the cap space, and released guard Derrick Dockery today to pave the way to sign Brown. Brown can play both guard and center, and excels in playing teams that employ the 3-4 scheme, because he's physical enough to handle the nose tackle head-on, which was the Bills major weakness last season. All of the Bills opponents in the AFC East play a 3-4 scheme, in which the Bills were 0-6 within the division last season.

Harold Lewis, who represents Bart Scott and Jason Brown, said yesterday that he is optimistic either Scott or Brown will re-sign with the Ravens before free agency begins Friday. BaltimoreSun

Quick Hits...The Oakland Raiders will reportedly release WR Javon Walker before his $5 million dollar March 3rd roster bonus becomes due..The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly parting ways with free agent SS Lawyer Milloy...the Buffalo Bills will be parting ways with quarterback J.P. Losman according to team COO Russ Brandon.

Jauron also kissed Trent Edward's arss several times during the interview to the point that you would think that he's the second coming of Joe Montana.
A marriage made in heaven!

Marijuana was found in the car occupied by Marshawn Lynch last week which ultimately resulted in Lynch's arrest for possessing a firearm without a permit...the police approached the black Mercedes Lynch and two others were sitting in it because it was parked suspiciously with the engine running, and that the car didn't have proper license plates...
the arresting officers could smell a strong odor coming from the car, however, nobody was charged with possession since the officer found four small blunts, which none of the occupants claimed to be theirs.

His house is worth over $250,000 and hasn't been put on the market.

Oakland Place, Buffalo, NY and his house (with his black SUV) appears in the street view on the map.

Our franchise already looks bad.....................

Let's hope the Bills finish 12-4 or better in 2009 so that we can have a home playoff game and not be depressed.
Don't be ridiculous.
Your quote is ridiculous....12-4 for this team?...and playoffs?...Jim Mora would have fun with that one.
-
The poster of this post needs to find a new team! No way does a true fan route for his team to lose, not to punish anyone, and not to get a higher draft pick!
You sound like an out of town fan that hasn't spent his hard earned money supporting the team through the years only to get kicked in the teeth by Ralph Wilson year in and year out.
-
wow, you people really take this crap literally? The guy who posted this wants them to win just as badly as you do or he would not be here....get a clue and stop taking people's venting so literally
-
Some of you guys just don't get it!
We've been a 7-9 team for 3 straight years now and with a mush tougher schedule and Dick Jauron coming back. I seriously doubt if this team can match the same 7-9 record for a fourth straight season so a 4-12 record is very possible.
I'd rather go 4-12 next year than 7-9 because of better draft positioning and like I stated in the topic post it would make Ralph Wilson shell out some big bucks for a signing bonus for the player we pick.
Maybe then Mr. Wilson would try to do whatever it takes to make this team better and avoid another huge signing bonus payout.
-
Let's hope the Bills finish 4-12 or worse in 2009 so that Ralphie gets stuck paying out mega bonus money to our 2010 draft pick. A top three pick would likely cost the Bills 30+ million in signing bonus money.
It would teach him a lesson on being cheap.
-
Does that mean we're supposed to root for the Pats? I'm so confused, either way we lose...
Root like hell for the Pats...a win means nothing at this point except that there's a chance that were stuck with jauron for another season.
Plus this team needs all the talent that it can find in the draft and winning this week would worsen our draft positiion.

One thing I will say that Sullivan is expert on "blow". If I lived in Buffalo I'd send a letter to editor stating I was terminating my subscription to Buffalo News since they continued to employee him after multiple years of losing articles but I don't live in Buffalo and do mot fund that poor excuse of a newspaper I won't.
Jerry Sullivan tells it like he sees it, he doesn't candy coat.
I just feel sorry for all the people that keep buying the product that Ralph Wilson keeps feeding them.

Wow. I just wake up and here I get to puke in my mouth.
Doesn't surprise me, tho. This is only the latest confirmation that things need to change at the very top of the organization in order for anything to change. The Bills are the AFC's version of the Lions b/c ineptness is rewarded and excuses are tolerated.
We are not a couple-few players away from competing. Mere roster swaps in the absence of anything else isn't going to do much. Until Ralph sells or dies, so that someone whose primary interest is about winning football games... I may watch, but since games aren't on here very frequently these days, I probably won't. My heart doesn't care enough and is not enough to override the basic desire to not get kicked in the nuts every !@#$ week. Lots of other things to be doing on Sundays.
Totally Agree!
The Bills are so bad that we had the game on but we were putting up the Christmas decorations...bad football = can't watch...I finally sat down to watch the tube at 4:00 for the Ravens-Steelers game.
-
Our defense sucks...period!
A complete overhaul is needed not just a bandaid to fix a gash.
-
If Schefter's report is correct then Jauron will be the coach in 2009 even if the Bills drop their remaining games because Ralph is waaaay to cheap to eat a 3 year deal. They will probably restructure their coaching staff and it wouldn't surprise me if the Bills can DC Perry Fewell and hire Lions coach Rod Marinelli as their new def coordinator...he knows the stupid Tampa 2 scheme that we run and would be an improvement over Fewell.
If it were up to me I'd blow the whole thing up and ditch our defensive scheme altogether.
-
I'm sure it's true...Ralph figured that jauron was his man after they were 5-1 at the beginning of the season and I guarantee the contract extension is "Very Ralph Friendly" as in it wouldn't cost the Bills much to eat the extension...but...they certainly won't because that's not how Ralphie operates.
It looks like Jauron Ball is here to stay for several more years.

Carucci is a windbag...I used to hear him on Sirius and most of the time he either didn't know what he was talking about or just faked it....especially when it came to the nfl draft.
Fitzpatrick signed!!
